Excellent, guys, simply excellent!!! Put I especially liked dinochick's! But wait a second, was it meant to be making fun of the U.S., pro-U.S., or neutral? It seemed to have elements of all. And now I shall e-mail these to me friends!

Well, I think your avatar is a rather odd, but you don't see me saying anything about it...

10:17 PM CST, Thursday, July 17, 2003: -Added more to Part 2 of "Magical Lies" where you're introduced to the Allied Nation's Bermuda garrison's secrets -Updated the Dramatis Personæ -I'm still looking for a Good Samaritan to host my stories -I'm still looking for a better title for "Magical Lies" -I'm still looking for opinions and feedback on the story Highlight on, but be warned that the below are spoliers of the story, so I would suggest reading the story before highlighting. In the story, during the assault by Londo Belle on the island in the Bermuda Islands, the Allied Nation's secret is revealed. That secret comes in the form of a mobile suit, but a mobile suit unlike any other. I won't give away anything else, but I only provided a brief description of it, which includes the fact that it is mostly white and has a gold "v" on its forehead. Well, it's actually white, blue, red, and yellow/gold, which are the official prototype mobile suit colors of the Allied Nations. Well, if you're wondering what it looks like, here are a few pictures. This is what it mostly looks like (body wise), except for the gun over its left shoulder and the gun it's holding. Here is a picture of it from behind, except for the gun over the shoulder, the gun it's holding, and shield it has. Along with that, it also has some characteristics of this one and this one. To explain a tad, the "v" on the forehead is an advanced sensors antennae. The one in the story looks mostly like the first two pictures, has the shoulders and standard shield of the third, and the double beam-swords of the fourth. It's a little hard to imagine, so I'll try to get a clear picture of what it exactly looks like. I'll explain everything about all the mobile suits in better detail in a later post.

Okay, the little "www" button will no longer take you to the page that has "Magical Lies" on it, but instead will take you to my Home Page. At the bottom of that home page is a link that will take you the page called "SOCL's Desk" where "Magical Lies" is located and being updated. So, if you want to read "Magical Lies" go here. And don't worry, to make it easier, I'll also put it in my signature.

I updated the picture of the mountain mobile suit back on the first page of this thread. I also added another picture on the page before this one to further illustrate the what the YDMS-04 looks like. Well, all this mobile suit stuff is probably confusing more than one of my three or four--maybe five--readers (of both the story and/or this thread), so after I update the site and add the next part to the story, I'll make a post devoted to explaining the mobile suits in their entirity. I'll post pictures of all the mobile suits introduced to date and give some specs over them (each and broadly). So what does this mean to you, the reader? Well, it means that I will be explaining more stuff, but hopefully destory some of the confusion you may have over mobile suits in the story (though I'll probably create more, instead)...after all, I am the Grand Imperator of BEAK®.

Which page is that? When I posted it started a new page in the thread, so actually I meant the page before this one in this thread. I've been meaning to, but I haven't come around to it... Uh huh, sure. So everyone knows, I'll be updating the webpage that includes the story. I've figured out how to make more than one webpage and will move everything else other than the story to another page and I'll make the page you guys have been viewing (I hope) as the story page. to make it simple: I'm going to update the site, it'll be easier to navigate through and read the story...no worries!

Yes, Antilliles, I know they replaced them, but I doubt the fact that Elvis and Scath came to be part of the staff was the reason they were taken out. Well, I knew they weren't around the forums much, but I wasn't sure if they did any "housekeeping" around the site and such. Cute, quite cute, my friend. Indeed. Where has our other British friend gone to?
-
So you won't tell us ahead of time?
-
Goodness, Scath, I didn't think someone would actually write the whole spam scene out!
-
What do you mean by "clean living"? So, one person said "yes". Another two didn't wish to comment, which probably means they have but don't want to admit it. And another two think there's something seriously wrong with me. Wait a sec; what?! You say this is idiotic, though you have seen the SW clouds? I see how it is, just because I feel like expressing my cloud-loving side you have to go off and make fun of it.

Okay, so during the time my computer was going insane, I couldn't communicate with you guys this, so, here it goes now. Now, many hours of sitting on the stand, watching people swim in the pool and making sure they don't drown, tends to bore one. Well, during this time I decided to look up the clouds (it had rained the day before, so they were big and puffy) when I probably should have been making sure no one drowned. But no worries, Emily (another lifeguard) was watching the pool. So any how, I started to see things in the clouds. No, it wasn't like The Lion King, but it was pretty cool. The wind was blowing towards me and, whoa, so were the clouds! And there, flying over me, was a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser! Okay, okay, so it wasn't really a Mon Cal, but it looked like it! A hell of a lot like it! So here's the point to this thread. We are SW freaks/geeks, there is no denying it, so I'm sure you have looked up at the clouds and seen such things. So, let's post what we have seen! Here's mine: -Mon Calamari Star Cruisers -Imperator-class Star Destroyers -Victory-class Star Destroyers -Executor-class Super Star Destroyers -Skipray Blastboats -the Jedi fighter used by Kenobi in AOTC -the Millenium Falcon -Dreadnaughts -the Death Star -Cloud City What about you guys? Oh, also, don't forget to vote in the poll!

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY, BILL!!! By the way, about the SWR staff: whatever happened to the other staff members who Scath and Elvis and... TREJ?! Trej is on the staff?! WHOA! CONGRATS!!! Any how, whatever happened to the rest of the staff? Like that Nemesis guy and so forth?
-
Back to the roots of this topic: Well, what's it going to be, Trej? The rank, I mean. And when are we going to see it?
-
Excellent example, dude21! Excellent! May I quote you and use it?
-
Boshek's phrases, Scath, is like what I call we the members of SWR: "angry crazies".

This is not cool. I seem to be the only Imperial moving things around on the Imperial side, here! I mean, I'm not the only Imperial, but none seem to really be moving things about. Jeez, I just said that twice...shows how frustrated I am.

Revenge of the Sith makes the most sense, actually. Look at the pattern of titles: A New Hope ~ The Phantom Menace The Empire Strikes Back ~ Attack of the Clones Return of the Jedi ~ Revenge of the Sith Actually, now that I look at it, Revenge of the Sith sounds too much like Return of the Jedi, if you ask me.

What Other Books are you Reading?
SOCL replied to Grand_Admiral_Thrawn's topic in General Discussion
I'm nearly finished with Dark Tide II: Ruin and will soon be starting the first Agents of Chaos book. Don't tell me anything about the two books because if soemone says something good, I'll get my hopes up and dislike the book because of what I expected. If you say it's bad, I'll end up starting the book with bad expectations and not enjoy it. No one mention anything about it, please! By the way, I hadn't realized Recovery was an e-book. I guess I'll be buying it online (they sell it at the Borders website). -
Sadly, the Clone War animated shorts do not interest me. A few more animes I like a lot...and now, SOCL's revised list: -COWBOY BEBOP -Mobile Suit GUNDAM -Mobile Suit GUNDAM: The 08th MS Team -Mobile Suit GUNDAM 0080: War in the Pocket -Mobile Suit Zeta GUNDAM -Lupin the 3rd -The Big O

Thank you, my friend, but you may return the reigns to His Imperial BEAKness...me. Unlike MacArthur, I have returned....
-
Well, you could try to find Doug Mogica or Michael Mortimer...Um...I'll try. Now, as far as a direct line of communication with LucasArts goes.... Okay, LucasArts has stock which people can invest in. Well, aren't stockholders of a company technically allowed higher privelleges than any normal person on the street? I mean, wouldn't they have some sort of "higher" communication than, lets say, us? I know it probably wouldn't be by much, but it would probably get us some sort of more personal communication with them than just automated responses. Furthermore, it would show them that we not only care for ourselves and getting the game source code for our own delight, but the fact that we actually have invested in the company itself and actually care about LucasArts and not what we can get out of it for ourselves. Then again, with the amount of SW fans around, being a stockholder of LucasArts would probably mean nothing....

[Poll] Do you enjoy playing Rebellion versus Person/Comp?
SOCL replied to a topic in General Discussion
Well, I have indeed returned from my battle against my evil nemesis...my PC.... Sadly, I have not returned victorious, but instead...well...confused. You see, the battle never really had a victor...instead it turned out that the problem simply went away, probably to return some day at full strength, peering with its ugly head and bearing its venomous fangs. This isn't the first time this has occured...and I'm sure not the last.... -
Interestingly enough, I wasn't on the said day, but not because of tanning. Instead my computer went...well...insane, to say the least.
