  1. Speaking of which, I was talking to my bestfriend Matt yesterday and we were discussing Quantum physics and the multiverses, when he suddenly jumped up and shouted: "DUDE! You're explanations are freaking the f*ck out of me!"
  2. Right on, Elvis! Have you got SOAD's new CD? Steal This Album? I also forgot to mention Matchbox Twenty, Elton John, Bon Jovi, U2, Puddle of Mudd, Nirvana, and, minimally, some Eminem (the only rap music I listen to).

Not offended, just . . . well . . . laugh. Not offended, simply infuriated at that )#(&%)(^_(@#&()#&_)^#(*^!!!
  4. Indeed! Same here, but I don't get how it is one. How can the Bebop be a fishing ship if it travels in space? Perhaps is a way of saying old, just like a cowboy is a bounty hunter.
  5. I suppose you could call that fun . . . perhaps even challenging. I find it to be quite vexing!
  6. What happened to the other dude?
  7. Do not make such assumptions, dude21, for I indeed can afford such big fleets. And, that is, without the use of RebEd to assist. The only thing I have done with RebEd EVER is give the Rebels some Imperial vessels, give the Imperials some Rebel vessels, make Thrawn unable to betray the Empire, let Palpatine train Jedi, and buff up the ISDs a tad. Not one of those has anything to do with cost or time to completion for ships. I don't know about you and why you say it's impossible, but I can and do have them raised all the time.
  8. I could probably help in this discussion better if I remembered what they used in TIE Fighter, but I don't. What I do know is that I commonly see: SD=Star Destroyer ISD=Imperial Star Destroyer (AKA Imperator-class) ISDI=Imperial Star Destroyer, Mark I ISDII=Imperial Star Destroyer, Mark II ISDIII=Imperial Star Destroyer, Mark III VSD=Victory Star Destroyer VSDI=Victory Star Destroyer, Mark I VSDII=Victory Star Destroyer, Mark II SSD=Super Star Destroyer; Super-class Star Destroyer (AKA Executor-class) SSSD=Sovereign Super Star Destroyer ESSD/ESD=Eclipse Star Destroyer/Eclipse Super Star Destroyer Granted, there are more, but this is just a quite list of common ones concerning Star Destroyers. By the way, has anyone ever taken note that Star Destroyer in the SW original trilogy is written as Stardestroyer? It's in the credits. You'll see that some actors' roles are called "Stardestroyer crewman" or "Stardestroyer officer".
  9. I have never understood those people who are content with conquering only half the galaxy and crushing their enemy without taking the entire galaxy. I mean, isn't the point to the game A) Crush Your Enemy, and B) Control The Galaxy ?
  10. Damn it! First everyone is speaking German and now Latin! I'm going to have to learn/teach myself two languages at the same time!
  11. I still say he should be Sir Postalot!
  12. Well, I pilot my mobile suit to school and work everyday, and after the first week, I stopped get odd looks and I even have my own parking spaces now. http://pictures.gundamw.net/0080epshots/epone25.jpg Sadly, the fools at school still think it belongs to some Federation. I think they're by federation they mean to refer to the Wal-Mart monopoly.
  13. You aren't blue right? That depends on your definition of blue, whether you mean blue in a physical or mental aspect. AMEN! I remember reading somewhere about where Timothy Zahn got the name Thrawn, but now I don't quite remember. I have a few letters of correspondence from him in my room. Let me check to see if it's written anywhere in them. Good point, LaForge. I had just imagined some of these names to be made up, but in reality, most are based on people or places. For example, General Covell in the Thrawn trilogy has a close resemblance to Manfield Lovell, a Confederate Army officer in the American Civil War, and Solomon Lovell, an American officer in the American Revolutionary War. Both had some interesting parts in history (especially since they're both included in Oxford's Essential Guide to the U.S. Military, and since Timothy Zahn is American. . . .). So you see. . . . Interesting point. I've heard that as well. Quite true. Many of the names in SW have simply been modified a tad to look more "Star Wars-y". Pter=Peter, Covell=Lovell, etc. I suppose there once was.

    Fleeting...

We Imperials enjoy having many expressions handy in case they're ever needed.
  15. You know what, I may have been wrong on what majors they have. I believe those are offered as well, but then again, the Naval Academy is really only for undergrad studies since most people only go there for their four years of college before entering the Navy, and unless they're returning to teach, never ever return (whether it's because they do not wish to or never have the time to do so).
  16. He does indeed, wormie. He lives in Costa Rica. Hey, Trej, I had to read that curséd book, The Great Gatsby, as well, so I know how you feel. Luckily enough, though, I am out of school! You could've spared yourself a lot of time if you'd studied physics first and explained it to you friends afterwards...He has a good point there, Trej. WOOHOO! One post ago I was promoted to General!
  17. Damn it! You people and your German! That's it, I'm teaching it to myself. Out of curiosity, how many and what languages are taught and learned the average European classroom? (To Trej:) Costa Rican?
  18. Technically the Katana fleet is Old Republic and, accordingly, should belong to the Empire. Of course, thos damned Rebels are always stealing our ships, so. . . . Thrawn had the majority of the fleet under his command, so really, it truly is Imperial, if that's what you guys were referring to. I think this discussion has pretty much come to the conclusion that building the Katana fleet is quite costly and impractical, much less raising a fleet to counter it. Correct?
  19. Bounceshido! I've heard of that! Great martial art!
  20. Interesting. I guess my assumption that Europe is far more independent minded and free-thinking due to a far more diverse culture than the U.S. I assumed such because of the fact that you have so many different persons from so many different walks of life right nearby. I don't even know if that was worded correctly.
  21. By the way, where is our friend Trej?
  22. Got it! Thanks! New style, indeed, LaForge!
  23. I guessed as much about STD being Star Destroyer, I was simply used to seeing SD than STD. Thanks for clearing things up!

    Fleeting...

That what you don't not think is. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHURB!
  25. We understand you, Scath, don't worry.
