  1. The only German I know is a few words, that include simple ones such as Ja.
  2. May 29, 2003: -Added more of Part 2 of/to "Magical Lies" If you've been reading the story, you would have noticed that there is mention made of "mobile suits", specifically four: two desert prototypes and two mountain prototypes. Well, to give you a visual image of what mobile suits are, here you go. This picture is what the first two desert (YDMS-01 and YDMS-02) and mountain (YMMS-01 and YMMS-02) protoype mobile suits look like. The two -01 models have the cockpit installed in the "head", while the -02 models have the cockput installed in the torso. YDMS-01, -02 & YMMS-01, -02 The desert mobile suit will evolve to look quite differently from the above picture, while the mountain mobile suit will continue looking the same. Thanks to Mecha Anime Headquarters for the pictures (last URL in my signature)!
  3. Quick and immediate catch up: -Changed the top-picture to one of me and Holly -I'm still looking for a good Samaritan to host my stories -I'm still looking for a better title for "Magical Lies" -I'm still looking for opinions and feedback on the story -Part 1 of "Magical Lies" is posted -Beginning of Part 2 of "Magical Lies" has been posted
  4. Well, I've given in and created a thread in "Site Updates". Here's the link: http://www.swrebellion.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=14392&sid=66336de5b0393c881ef9bb1ae0b8cbcc#14392 Please check in there for updates and PLEASE read my story "Magical Lies"! I would GREATLY appreciate readers, and feedback and opinions! PLEASE!!! Also, since I can't make websites worth monkey spit, I am still looking for someone who would be willing to host my stories on their site, maybe a small section or something. Please?! Updates on the way!
  5. The idea for this thread came from a suggestion in a thread called "What does SOCL mean?". You might want to read through that thread to get a feel for what my terrible website is all about. Here's a link to that particular thread: http://www.swrebellion.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=421&sid=9366ed9df54245ce9b89f3915f207b5a So, here's a thread to keep all of you here in the SWR community up-to-date on my craptacular website. The point to my website isn't really to be about me, but to post my stories. Sadly, it's one of those American Online-sponsored websites, so it REALLY sucks! If anyone would be willing to host my stories at their website, I would be eternally grateful! Please?!
  6. Not if you save every couple of minutes. That way if a natural disaster does occur, you can simply load and keep going from where you left off. Odds of it occuring in an important system go down.
  7. Excellent, LaForge, excellent indeed. Now, can you make a duel between dude21 and Dude22. AT-AT vs. the Enterprise...or something Star Trek-y. Well, maybe no one else agrees, but it would be interesting to see. Or would it? Because it is isn't!
  8. HEY! I thought you said you couldn't understand German!
  9. OF COURSE NOT! I am an Imperial to the last! But then again, I could be considered a Neo-Imperial since I don't agree 100% in Palpatine's New Order and I don't believe in the way Palpatine was handling things in the galaxy.
  10. That's how it is in Puerto Rico as well, Trej.
  11. Well, in real life (so what is life in the forums? Fake life?) I do sometimes tend to ramble and explain everything I can about a certain topic down to the last detail. And the worse part is, I use perfect grammar (or some I'm told), so I do not take any short cuts with the use of slang, contractions, and/or abbreviations. So, yes, I am like this in "real life". So . . . who wants to be my friend? . . .

Not offended, simply infuriated at that )#(&%)(^_(@#&()#&_)^#(*^!!! Do you kiss your girlfriend with that mouth? Silence, for fear that Holly may find out!

    Fleeting...

We NEED those types of smileys here . . . at a STAR WARS website.
  14. What you need is a good overdose of SYSTEM OF A DOWN!
  15. That was my biggest question for a long time. Is is Star Destroyer or Stardestroyer. Are we to follow the credits of the STAR WARS movies or what has been established in the novels? Are the credits of SW canon over the novels? WHAT DO WE DO?
  16. BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  17. How excellent . . . and at the same time . . . sad.
  18. Perhaps that is why I have won more than 90% of my games.
  19. Well, it's not actually by size. It's one standard size: 18.0 meters tall and an empty weight of 43.5 metric tons (a max gross weight of 56.4 metric tons). They're call mobile suits, a deceiving name since they're just humanoid mechs. Well, after the great Wal-Mart/K-Mart War here in the U.S., they stopped mass producing them and sold the surplus to the public. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a Wal-Mart Command model through a nice little deal which involves money in Swiss accounts . . . well, you know. I know both Wal-Mart and K-Mart keep a small force, but as far as civilians buying them again, I don't think you can. Of course, you could probably find one on eBay since they sell EVERYTHING there.
  20. WHAT THE HELL?! I saw me mentioned in there! What did he say!!!
  21. You see, here in the U.S. we are only forced to learn one language, and that's English. So it's quite impressive to find someone bilingual, but it seems that being bilingual (or trilungual) in the International aspect is actually quite common. I know that in Puerto Rico, everyone must learn Spanish and English. They are all bilingual, but here in the states, I speak both Spanish and English and everyone freaks because they think I'm special or something, when really it's just a lack of such teaching in the environment. Nevermind.
  22. All the Imperial fleet needed back then was some solidarity and had the grand admirals united, down the Rebels would have gone . . . but no, the rule is: Good guys have to win, even against impossible odds.
  23. Complaining is a common trait here, my friend; no worries.
  24. I don't think it's a serious thing, considering that our "leader" never does anything to help the site or the association, a much better word than cult in this case. Is there a Cult of Thrawn? If not, there should be!
  25. We all know about the messed up dates and time, but I don't think we all know that Mr. Zahn was forced to use those dates due to a lack of information LucasFilm supplied him. Read this for info as to why the dates and times in the Thrawn trilogy are the way they are:http://www.theforce.net/jedicouncil/interview/zahn.shtml I like the dates presented by the Thrawn trilogy better than those Lucas established in his prequels because it flows far better with the overall continuity of Star Wars and makes far more sense (makes the Clone Wars, Jedi Order, and Old Republic older, as connoted in ANH; etc). Not completely so. The Noghri had to come up close and sniff Leia to detect that she was Lady Vader. They could have very well come up close and sniffed Vader in a place where he still had living flesh.
