  1. Trej I really don't think that's possible, unless we're going to do a Gollum-Smeagol kind of thing.... Indeed you can't have one without the other though
  2. I read somewhere that a New Republic patrol finds it somewhere and it was beyond repair.
  3. OOC: Heh, it wouldn't really matter. Anyways I'd like to leave with my frigate and most of my pilots. Guess I didn't read the post that close Ok Mad anyways....Let's get a few more
  4. OOC: Stellar do what you like, try not to make it to devestating. I'll retaliate against you eventually The Guardian came out of hyperspace in the Duros system. Within a moment, the rest of the task force was in their positions around the massive ship. The Yuuzhan Vong and Peace Brigade forces in the area scrambled and moved to enage the GFFA forces, but they were clearly no match. They were outmatched and clearly inexperianced. The enemy capitol ships tried to run, but an interdictor prevented them and the task forces vaporized them. The swarms of GFFA fighters overwhelmed the coralskippers and assorted Peace Brigade craft. The battle was quickly over and the task force then moved to bombard the planet. Green and red lasers fell upon the planet with devastating accuracy. Every and any target of military importance was destroyed. Then, as quickly as they had arrived, the task force left. The first mission of the campaign had been a sucess.
  5. Evan's pilots were fighting as usual. They took their share of casulties, but most of the Imperials were no match and had no hope of taking on the elite of the Rebellion. Suddenly another Star Destroyer jumped into the area. "Sith spit! Ok Greens, Blues and Oranges. Let's prepare to move out of the area. If we play it right we can distract the TIEs and let the Nebulon-B escape while escaping ourselves." It was a daring plan, but Evan hoped the Neublon-B and it's TIEs could hold their ground and escape. The Rebel fighters began retreating and distracted most of the TIEs. Manuvering well and moving to counterattack every once and a while, the Rebels managed to move to their hyperspace area without many loses. Meanwhile the Nebulon-B was about to leave. OOC: Feh sorry that might have been lame but I think I've lost my will to fight against impossible odds for the moment.
  6. Well yes, but if he was given more developing and whatnot he certinatly would have been popular. He just wasn't given enough attention.
  7. OOC: Stellar? You and your Rapora friends gonna do something?
  8. OOC: Ok Mad we'll do our daring raid soon enough, but let me go steal this one. TIE squadrons began launching from the Star Destroyer and another one came from the platform. The two squadrons of TIEs that launched from the defecting Nebulon-B had retreated and moved to form a screen around their mother ship. One squadron of TIEs attempted to attack the Neublon-B and payed the price. The laser canons quickly scattered the TIEs. Green, Blue and Orange squadrons (still in Z-95s) had been given a relativly simple mission: escort the frigate out. It was easy compared to the missions that were likely to be ahead in the Alliance's bid to acquire Nebulon-Bs. The Rebels joined the screen around the Nebulon-Bs. It seemed to be only a little longer before the mission was accomplished.... The Imperials, however, had no intentions of giving the Nebulon-B away. By now, most of the TIEs had been launched and were forming up in many small groups. If they came in a large mass, the Nebulon-B would wipe them out. As Evan looked at one of the approching TIEs, he suddenly recognized it's markings. He smiled grimly to himself and moved to attack the fighter.......
  9. OOC: We'll have to see how Mad handles this....
  10. "Well not attack persay, but we need to create a distraction. If we can distract the forces at Kuat, a few of the frigates will have enough time to escape and defect. It's a risky plan, but we did Fondor, I'm sure we can handle this. I've called you in because you're the one who I think is most likely to come up with a viable plan. You've been the one who've done things like this in past times. So, what do you think?
  11. OOC: I didn't have the heart to kill anymore of my pilots Evan looked over the document again and again. Ten X-wings lost, 8 pilots killed. It was a terrible toll, but Evan knew they had gone up against the Empire had to offer. Combants with pilots like those weren't going to happen everyday. Anyways, Evan got to pick from a pool of the most experianced pilots. The X-wings had done their job. Most of the transports had escaped and plenty of Imperial fighters had also met there ends. High Command had been impressed. They were going to try to produce more. Orange squadron was next to be upgraded and High Command was going to try to make X-wings used as the main Rebel fighters, ASAP. *** Sometime later.... Evan looked over the document again and again. This mission was daring, but if played right it could be a major help to the Rebels. New frigates had been used in his last encounter with the Imperials. Now, some of the crews of a few if the recently built frigates were asking to defect. All they needed was a distraction and they could escape. Orange squadron had yet to be upragded, but Blue and Green were back at full strength. Therefore Evan was sure tthe Imperial fighters would not be much of a problem. However, the rest of the plan...... Suddenly, Evan smiled. He knew just who to call. Slowly he reached for his comlink....
  12. How are you talking to Mad? Me? Because are Jedi friend has been gone for a little while....
  13. Well I guess that's true but in honesty I haven't read most of the books you mentioned...I guess I'll consider myself lucky
  14. Sounds better than anything George Lucas would come up with, but then again there isn't much competition there.
  15. Wow a protocol droid turned bounty hunter....That's ermm intresting. How does he change so dramatically? Anyways, IG-88 probably would have been considered the coolest if he had been given more time.
  16. I didn't think Truce at Bakura was that bad. Trej you've listed about half of the EU universe there
  17. OOC: Stellar destroy another guy or two, but my part in the battle has ended. I do belive we've left...
  18. I thought it was the kill Mad one, clearly he didn't catch on to your evil plans....Sigh poor Mad. When will he learn about how evil Yuuzhan Vong are?
  19. Her highschool boyfriend? Trej we get the point ok? Well umm...there are two possibilities You're trying to kill Mad....or you're trying to make a point about how many bad star wars books there are....
  20. Trej! You Yuuzhan Vong fiend! You're trying to kill the poor guy! No one could possibly live through that much boredom!
  21. Either you get some of the prequel stuff....or, like me, you wait until 2005 for the post NJO series....sigh
  22. End the meeting, do something and later he'll call you on a comlink or go out and join ya
  23. Yuuzhan Vong is a game? Oh how I would dream....The gungan famba shield thingy, was kind of useful....
  24. OOC: Hmpf! Hopefully Mad and A_A will come through, and maybe that new Jedi guy....
  25. OOC: Sorry, I was gone for a few days. Also, everyone take at the "Rapora Wars Start" thread in this same forum. Anyways, I take it we now have acess to Nebulon Bs? Well I guess that means the Rebellion is no longer new....Which means our own Neublon Bs, and we can start putting out X-wings in decent numbers....and soon Mon Calamari cruisers will join us.... IC: "Green and Blue squadron form up. We need to delay them for a little while longer. We must delay them at all costs!" Seventeen X-wings formed up. The Imperials still outnumbered the Rebels, but Evan knew they could be held off. Thus, the Rebellion could escape with little more than a bloody nose. His pilots would see to that. Evan lead them at a formation of two TIE squadrons escorting a squad of TIE bombers. As they came within range, his X-wings fired a wave at proton torpedoes, scattering the formation and vaporizing the TIEs that failed to move in time. The X-wings then dived upon the TIEs, hunting them down one by one, they had no chance. Evan looked at his radar to see that a squadron of TIEs was heading his way. "Green and Blue squadrons form up! Those TIEs will slowly pick us off one by one!" But it was too late. The TIEs were nearly upon them. He had to order them to- Suddenly a fighter dived into the incoming TIEs and scattered them. The fighter seemed familiar, but he had not seen one like it in a long while..... Then he snapped back into reality. He had to move against the TIEs before they realized they outnumbered the lone fighter and destroyed it. As Evan moved against the TIEs, he didn't have to order his pilots to. They knew what to do. OOC: Sorry if I got a few things wrong or whatnot, I'm just getting back into the swing of things....
