What I read indicated the Chiss wouldn't be a major part, nor would the Vong, but I guess it's possible I just don't see the Imps somehow rallying to fight again....

The GFFA has hundreds of ships. In the Thrawn duology the Empire has like 8 Star Destroyers. Sure they could have built more, but how many more could they really have built?

The rim is pretty important....I find it best to put a few major shipyards there and if it isn't important to hold them....
