  1. England was not the main front then, Russia was. Without America the Eastern front might have become a stalemate, with eventual Russian victory perhaps. What would Japan do in your situation?
  2. Same thing with the invasion of Italy, the Italians didn't fight but the Germans were forced to The british fought to defend France, but then there was Dunkirk.... U-boat
  3. Hmpf that's a good one. The death star would have held out and the Alliance would have retreated in disary. Even if the Emperor died, the Death star was still a death star. The Empire would collapse after the battle though
  4. CONGRATS ON 1000! Four spam masters all together...ah I think the Alliance would have become the New Republic, it just would have died later
  5. Not the tactic of blitzkreig, I meant like the invasion of Poland, France and the low countries. B-29
  6. The death star would have been destroyed even if he lived. I don't think that could have been prevented....
  7. So shall we start discussing WWII? The blitzkrieg perhaps? Stalin
  8. Hmmm let's see. Luke would have died but the Emperor and Vader would have also. The New Republic would probably have begun but somewhere down the line would have collapsed due to lack of Jedi.
  9. So what shall we discuss at the top? WWII? .... B-17
  10. You and your spamy ways Antilliles....ah well we might as well discuss now that it's revived...Erm what do we talk about?
  11. Spamania It's everyone's favorite. Make sure to put a random comment at the end. B-2 bomber
  12. Actually I think the Lusankya was constructed at Fondor.
  13. This is an all purpose thread Years and years will it last Palus
  14. The Lusankya was originally called the Executor, but Vader got the other SSD and the Lusankya was buried under Coruscant
  15. I think we've given the rebels a little extra juice. I mean who really wants to have a few beat up fighters an modified freighters trying to raid convoys with the threat of hundreds of thousands of Imperial ships.... This is the "all purpose discussion" thread. Patton
  16. OOC: Sounds like you were really sipping that ale down. The news of new top secret Imperial fighters disturbed Evan, but to have the plans would truely be a great asset. He immediatly saluted and shook the bothan's hand. After a brief introduction, the four went back to Merick's office. Although Admiral Helos was not to stay long, he would be there to review the plans of the new Imperial fighter. The bothan brought out the plans revealing an odd new fighter. It had three wings attached to the standard TIE cockpit. It looked to have potential, it could be quite a threat indeed.... OOC: Ugh, not the best of posts but i'll live
  17. This thread is very old, you might want to check out the Pre ANH:Roleplay thread if you want to participate in a RPG
  18. Well Trej, I guess we got our selves a little overpowered. We gotta have some kind of hope Model Who knows?
  19. Sure he has a few minor mistakes in them all, but who's perfect? Another great edition, I look forward to the next
  20. Mon Cal? Eh Orath is pretty important also and don't forget Dantooine Mon Cals can hold up pretty well against ISDs actually.... Deustchland
  21. Four VSDs, a damage interdictor, an ISD and a lancer frigate is quite a lot Hitler
  22. Sure we can do people, or countries? Funnnnnnnnnnnnn Von Manteuffel Mon Calamari is at the Imps mercy btw
  23. OOC: We'll make sure not to let you win next time we battle Trej. The old out of nowhere squadron trick The ISD and the battered interdictor escaped to fight another day through complex manuvering. The trio of Mon Calamari cruisers and the Chronicle began to repair minor damage and fully regenerate their shields. The fighter pilots looked like they were to get some much needed rest. But it was not to be so. Only a few moments later, the ISD returned. With seventeen VSDs. Desperatly the Rebel fighters launch and the four rebel capitol ships moved into a tight formation. The VSDs had spread out, so as the prevent any attempt to escape, but to be able to quickly move to pounce on any Rebel attempt to punch a hole through the line. It appeared hopless. As TIEs began to launch, Evan prepared for his last stand. If he got the opportunity to attack a VSD, he would, but the huge amount of TIEs seemed to make the impossible. The battle had been going on for a while, and so Rebel forces had finally time to organize and revive. The Centauri, two Nebulon-B frigates, another captured frigate and six corvettes. Immediatly they moved to attack the three nearest VSDs from the rear. Orange squadron led the new Rebel fighters. Immediatly the trapped Rebel forced moved to link up. The Chronicle opened fire on the first wave of TIEs, an entire wing. As the Mon Calamari cruisers joined in the firing, the TIEs scattered and then disappeared. The TIEs clearly weren't the best in the Empire and were at a disadvantage. The haggard Rebel pilots moved upon them with renewed ferocity. Soon the entire wave was retreating. On the other side of the battle, the corvettes were doing a good job against the first few TIE groups hastily sent against them. Orange squadron and the other Rebel fighters moved against the TIEs quickly, knowing many more were coming. A squadron of Y-wings had taken out the first VSD. The Centauri was already pounding another and the third VSD buckled under the fire of the three frigates. It didn't appear the first group of VSDs would be able to fully turn around before being destroyed. Nevertheless, three VSDs were already moving on the small task force from either side. The Rebels had to move quickly. The Chronicle continued to fire upon TIEs with the Mon Calamari cruisers following it. Nevertheless, a second wave managed to form up. Six VSDs were also moving at the Rebel group, attempting to prevent them for getting through the hole. The second wave of TIEs also suffered greatly from the capitol ships. The remaining Rebel fighters didn't move to engage immediatly and the TIEs retreated without making contact with any Rebel fighters. They needed capitol ships to back them, or to be in direct contact with Rebel fighters. The capitol ship fire proved to much for the unshielded fighters. With three VSDs down, the other Rebel group formed up tightly. A few groups of TIEs came at them, but, realizing their error, they retreated. Once again the TIEs needed capitol ship support. The gap was closing. For a moment it appeared as if the Imperial forces would link their forces up and wipe the Rebels out. But the Rebels doubled their efforts and made it through the gap. The Centauri and its supporting ships were already turning around. As the VSDs finally pounced, the Rebel shields held. The Rebel fleet returned fire for a moment, causing no damaged, then disappeared. Back to Orath, and time to lick our wounds....
  24. Never heard of it, sounds intresting though. Can we say people now to? Sep Dietrich
