  1. Hey hey, check out the rpg and drool at the potential for US TO DECIDE!!!
  2. I know i'm not senior staff or anything, and i'm sorry to disobey an order, but there are a couple of things i'd like clarifying before i cast my vote. 1: Okay so you've got your time period, but iare your sources going to be just the semi-official novels? Or does this include things like the West End Games trading cards etc, and the video and pc games? 2: Apart from the films, there aren't very many visual official sources, what did you have in mind?
  3. But they can't keep a 'governer' for ever can they.... and is it me or does that sound an awful lot like a short term dictatorship? Please put me right on this because i'm sure that's not what it is.
  4. Ahhh, it all makes sense now....
  5. Until we win, and then you will be thoroughly and morally humiliated!
  6. SWARMER, what else does it mean, i've never heard of it any other way except for using the on/off switch on something or the other way you already mentioned.
  7. Goldenrod s interesting though. How did a nine year old boy manage to build the exact same model as millions of other droids in the galaxy?
  8. Hmm, i can't imagine Llaamas being as dangerous as Fett though. I thought they were ferrets anyway, which i certainly wouldn't want crawling round my leg....
  9. Nice, remind me though, when did Corran face Kun, was it during I, Jedi?
  10. Cheers, that may well be handy.
  11. I see no reason why not, other games have songlists, so all we have to do is make sure that the songs are in the right format, either .wma or .mp3 should do it.

  13. Yes, they probably did, in fact, i remember the little tick box underneath the religion question, it said "are you joking?" Seriously though, just because we think they might be joking doesn't mean they are. Across the world there are several million people who believe that they may previously, or will in the future be cockroaches, and that they are humans because they have been good and have reached the highest level of existence. The religion is called Jainism and it's one of the top ten in the world. Sounds a bit ridiculous huh? To me yes, to them it's their life. If i didn't know better i'd think they were joking. So if 390,000 people in our country alone claim to believe in the force, shouldn't we take it seriously, don't they deserve the chance to be right or wrong. I'm not saying that the Force as we know it in Star Wars is right, but the underlying principles are remarkably similar to several religions, in many ways its an amalgamation of the best bits of the worlds religions. I don't think the census people have the right to judge, only to report the facts as they occur.
  14. Coupla questions: 1: What is the difference between the Republicans and the Democrats? From where i'm sitting they look pretty much the same. 2: Bush authorized this list of assasination didn't he? Can i make a suggestion, maybe putting Saddam at the top of the list. If America were to quietly take him out we might just find that after a few more assasinations, various terrorist leaders will realise that they are no longer safe. During the military operation in Afghanistan, according to the free press Osama was never under any particular direct threat. 3: It seems to me that though he may have taken a while to get there, Bush has walked into this in such a way that he has no way to back down now. Is this in your opinions correct? 4: As i understand it, the three main candidates that have popular support in Iraq are all strongly anti-US. Will the US support their election seeing as they are what the people of Iraq want? Or do you think we are more likely to see a long term hand in this on the part of the UN, and those opposition might be casualties of war? I'm not suggesting corruption, just assesing the likelihood of 'convenience'.
  15. Right, well it doesn't affect the story much at all, and i can't be bothered to edit my post, but i will change it in the real version. I'll tell you what though, it's really difficult trying to remember all the Vong jargon for their tech stuff.
  16. No no, we wouldn't let Vader use the force at all, or we'd make Blade a jedi knight of equal powers.
  17. Sorry Zoot, i have no fish.
  18. Funny and twisted.
  19. Yeah, well now that it's on the media, Saddam would be a twat not to think about it, and the US military would be even dumber not to accept it might happen now that it's been suggested.
  20. Interesting stuff guys. Tell me though, this is something i've been thinking about a lot. Most religions, if not all, advocate peace. The fundamentalists (i'm not going to group them with any specific religion, because they're present in all) obviously feel that they've had to resort to a last resort so to speak. Has anyone ever invited Osama, and other similar people to the table. If they all claim to adhere to their religions, surely they would be happy to TRY to discuss the problems??? If not, what does that say about us and them?
  21. Quality.
  22. OOC: That's my point. When the books introduce the Yuuzhan Vong, by their own admission, the Empire/Remnant is not in a position to fight, yet. But what if it had arrived earlier, while the DS Prototype was around, the Suncrusher, the Galaxy Gun, the Eclipse, several Sovereign SSD's. What if the Empire had power that the Vong could RESPECT, even if it is mechanical. What if Luke had still been young, not married and relatively aggressive. What if the galaxy hadn't grown complacent yet....?
  23. Only from a certain point of view though Igor!
  24. Exactly, and as such i cxannot see why we can't acknowledge a faitrh that people claim to have.
