  1. Exactly, i know it seems absurd, but we could try being logical!
  2. Haven't seen it, it's not out over here yet, but i do concur, it certainly looks good.
  3. I've read several of these 'scripts'. The only problem is, is that GL is not a very good script-writer, so it's just possible that these really are his early drafts, even though they're really not very good!
  4. Whispers furtively: *We could always kill him...?*
  5. Could be to do with me deleting the 'The King has Returned!' Thread, not sure.
  6. Interesting. I've seen some of the pictures of Anakin on http://www.starwars.com :Gotta love the mullett!:
  7. I got: Yoda - This wise, philosophical, and thoughtful Jedi master challenges the establishment, encouraging his pupils to unlearn what they have learned and see the world in novel, creative ways. Han Solo - This disheveled and scruffy smuggler leads a reckless and haphazard life, with little respect for rules and procedures. Lando Calrissian - An energetic, sociable man. He is adventure seeking, talkative, and socially skilled. Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker - This character truly belongs in the middle of the agreeableness dimension, representing both good and evil. On one hand a kind and warm, on the other hand, evil & ruthless. R2-D2 - A brave droid, who remains calm, confident and unperturbed even during the most dangerous of missions. Hmm, relatively accurate i'd say...
  8. "All people have photographic memory, most people just don't have film" "Eagles may soar, but weasals don't get sucked into jet engines" "What happens if i get scared half to death...twice?"
  9. Morale is good, but it didn't need to go on for so long, and didn't need to be cut with Neo and Trinity doing the business. Sure let us know they're in love, but not for ten minutes!
  10. Damnit, is nowhere sacred?!?
  11. Well done matey, still got some catching up o do though!!!
  12. Okay, so it's all over, the whole trilogy has now been seen by yours truly. Initial reaction - fanblinkingtastic!!! Okay so the third, and in fact all of the films weren't particulaly high on script content, but graphically they were an incredible set. And most importantly, they were FUN! Along with LOTR, these are the films I've talked about most after having seen them, and for me, that's what makes a film great. Only half the enjoyment comes from watching it, the other half comes from picking minor points and weaknesses to pieces with mates. I know a lot of people think the the first film was severely let down by the other two, and a lot of people think the end of Revolutions is crap, but I loved every minute of it. Well, apart from the Zion dance scene in Reloaded, what was all that about?!? Opinions! Go on, argue!!! (But play nice now children! )
  13. SOCL: Tis cool, not meant as any sorta criticism. Can't wait to see it meself. Up here at uni, WITHOUT my AvP games, or the dvd's. Did see Revolution the other night though, but see my thread on that.
  14. Um, if you check the official site it gives dedtails on an interview of the plot, which doesn't look amazing, but has potential, also, i was unnder the impression that they'd pretty much finished shooting now.
  15. Hmmmm, well, historically it's vaguely accurate. Marcus Aurelius definitely existed, and did die in Germania over-seeing his troups. His son was alleged to have been insane, but Maximus as far as we know, didn't exist. The battle itself is realistic in terms of troop deployments and tactics. But flaming arrows would not have flown so far etc. So essentially accurate for the opening battle, but with exagerrations necessary to meet Hollywood requirements.
  16. It's okay to be excited, now you get the joy of making your own version of Endor with the mission editor, with loadsa ISD's facing off against Mon Cals, and you stuck in the middle.
  17. I know exactly what you mean.
  18. Yeah, got beaten.
  19. Two main problems. The only material that adequately protects from solar radiation in space is, lead. Rather heavy to get into space! Until we find a better way to protect against solar radiation there will be no mars mission, a manned one that is. The other problem is people really aren't keen on nuclear power in space, with is the only really viable fuel source at present.
  20. I could easily be wrong, but i don't think it is.
  21. Yeah, Supes is in another solar sytem when he gets impegnated, so his powers doiminish. When he gets back to Earth he just heaves t up. There's a second one, but don't go near it. It's rubbish!
  22. Yeah, unfortunately you can't boot Me from the CD. Nothing's ever that simple.
  23. Indeedly, though i already knew most of them from the novels.
  24. There's two batman vs aliens comics.
