  1. Cos we could use JK II for some of the videos.
  2. Also you should be able to just blow up the planet, because that's much faster than coming round the planet, it depends on whether you want the planet to be destroyed, but that would be cool.
  3. Well, yeah, i kinda took that for granted.
  4. Heh heh heh, fun....
  5. Why thank you.
  6. Well, i didn't really want to give the Rebs SD's, but there don't seem to be very many cap ships that we actually know what they look like.
  7. Any way of increasing the size of the box, it does that anyway as you develop bigger ships...
  8. I have the solution to your problem, replace the models. Replace the lancer, strike cruiser, carrier etc etc with SD models, then he will build lots of SD's and a few SSD's and maybe an Eclipse too.....
  9. Don't worry, it's a valid situation, though really if you want to be fair, only move Golans to planets that you control. Something for Reb II, one of the new planetary defences could be Golan I II and III, and you should be able to see them in a battle and they can be controlled in a battle, as should planetary batteries.
  10. You can, there's a site out there somewhere. It works liike that little proggy you could download with a cat that would wander round your screen and you could give it presents. Well im fairly sure there's a girlfriend version of it, two in fact, one for the office, and one for, how shall i put this, 'home use'....
  11. Most unfortunate this is. A way Greg must find to control this mmmm.
  12. What about Katana? Give the Rebs Assault Frigates, and the Imps cheaper Katanas that aren't very powerfull? The way i see it is that the Empire needs its better ships to be more expensive. People are going to want ESSD's, but even an Mc90 couldn't take one on alone, so we need to make the ESSD much more expensive than the other ships etc. I think that's the best way to find a realistic balance.
  13. Oooooooooh, now they were good weren't they, weren't they Nawara'Ven's buddies?
  14. Well, i love them all, even the Crystal Star, because they all take a universe and expand on it. SW is probably the best known fictional universe in the universe, if you know what i mean...
  15. Why is that? I have no idea about coding or anything, but i'm interested. I'm feeling the need for an idiots guide to texturing tutorial...
  16. Problem is, the moment you set constraints on the conflict we will come to the argument of bias. In this case we have two civilisations, neither of which has reached the maximum technology possible to it, or used all its resources, so even if you try to set the time as when the civilisation was atr its most advanced it would be impossible. In human terms, conflict on Earth is not a problem, we are compatible bodies, basing our science on the same principles. What if the ST guys arrived in the SW galaxy, only to find that the SW guys were 20 times bigger than them? It's entirely possible that their technology isn't even backwards compatible, let alone compatible... It all depends on the rules for the conflict that we set, but then we get bias in the equation. It is, in effect, an unanswerable question.
  17. Is it me or is this beginning to look promising?
  18. Okay, capital ships, now, i've been thinking, and these seem to representative of each side. Imps: Rebs: Dreadnought - Katana - Dreadnought Vic II - Corellian Corvette Lancer - Corellian Gunship Imp II - Mc80 Interdictor - Mc40 Carrier - Carrier SSD - Mc80b ESSD - Mc150 - some huge ship or other. Sovereign - Mc90 Light Transport - Action IV Transport Heavy Transport - Medium Transport Death Star - Nebulon B I think this provides a reasonable balence. In my opinion a Medium Transport is bigger than an Action IV. Debate at your leisure.
  19. I don't know, maybe i feel the cold more as i get older. But yes, i have heard of that sin curve effect before.
  20. Never played it online, just figured you need the same version and cards on each pc. Um, i guess these aren't tc's anymore are they anyway, they were when they were made, but now they don't have the models so they're not really total per se. I know i know, i'm nitpicking, but come on, i'm just excited!!!!
  21. Yeah could do, it's a pity you can't start off with the Tie bomber, and then when you research the Tie Scimiter it drops the Tie Bomber, but i don't think you can do that. Assault gunboats or Missile boats would be too strong, unless we make the Ewing really good at kiling them, and have only four in a squadron or something?
  22. Nah, Mc150 is made up, just considerably more than 90, which is the highest i've heard of and could represent the equivalent of an ESSD.
  23. Okay guys, we need to get a move on. What ships do we want? There are two different things we need to decide at first. 1: What fighters we want. 2: What capital ships we want. First, the fighters. A quick brainstorm came up with these ideas; Awing Bwing Ewing Xwing and, Kwing I'd hesitate to drop any of these as they are all good ships, but i think we can only have four on each side. My guess would be the Kwing as it's not that well known, but it does provide the heavy bomber upgrade to the Bwing. On the Imperial side of things we have; Tie Fighter Tie Interceptor Tie Bomber Tie Defender Tie Scimiter Again we need to drop one, my best guess being the original fighter, and have the Interceptor as our baseline fighter. Then we have capital ships. I believe we have twelve on each side, although the Imps have to retain the Death Star, so we really only have 11 spaces for them. However I have no idea which ships we should have. Suggestions please.
  24. OOkay, i'm gonna start a new thread in the ships section where we can talk through this, because we need to decide which ships and in which order we want them, see you there.
  25. Nah, sorry, i'm gonna stick with God, i mean, do you know of anybody else, (that you actually believe exists(ed)) that created a universe? Or hasd the power to give people eternal life in heaven, or suffering in hell?
