We all know that the only Turtles we can allow into our hearts are A) The original comicbook turtles B) The original cartoon turtles and (At a stretch) C) The live-action-movie turtles. All other turtles, including the godawful "X-treme" style cartoon turtles, are to be discounted. It followed the movie story line, so you could call it "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles IV" and I wouldnt have a problem with it. It is very reminiscent of the characters from the original cartoon series and movie, so even though it is done in a new animation with a bit more attitude, it still felt like the TMNTs of old. And the ending alludes to a sequel (or TMNT V if you will), so I will be looking forward to that. But on another note, I do not feel that TMNT surpassed 300. 300 is still the best movie of the year, until Spidey comes out. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My friends and I would swap comics during our cub scout camping trips. I am so excited that the movie decided to incorporate Venom. Im just wondering how they are going to fit in the alien symboite costume (the black ooze-looking thing) in to the movie. Its origins in the comics are...a tad ridiculous. There are two courses of action I see the movie taking to explain its appearance, but I will not say so as to not unintentionally release spoilers and ruin surprises.
