I saw Superbad and I have to say it was the funniest movie this year.

I also saw Halloween and walked into it fearing it would be a gorefest like House of a 1000 Corpses. I walked out of Halloween surprisingly happy. I liked how it explored more of Myers' background and what made him into a monster.

I still say that the stuff with him as a kid is the only really scary stuff. It wound up being pretty much a gorefest in my opinion, anyway.

It followed the basic horror movie outline: Psycho killer kills everyone that he can and then the virgin lives and kills him/her. Unless it's Stephen King. Then everybody is screwed in some way, shape, or form, and the people wind up killing each other.

I knew about this case and would enjoy watching a fictional representation of it. I will have to try and get time to go, or else wait and buy the DVD when it comes out. - Grand Moff Conway

It was released in 1995, Paul. You either won't have to wait for it to come out on DVD, or you'll have to settle for snagging it on VHS; those are likely your only two options.

Oh, I missed that movie, allthough it was shown several times on television here. Got to watch it the next time. But I can remember that case. They catched that guy shortly after the fall of the soviet-union. I can´t recall exactly how many people that guy murdered all through the years, but it was a number larger than 30. 8O

Halloween is gory, but likely not as gory as Braindead. Didn't they use something like 5,000 gallons of fake blood for that flick? Or am I thinking of Nightmare on Elm Street?

Halloween's bloodiest scenes are probably (Oh, yeah, spoiler alert): Michael slicing his father's throat, stabbing his older sister, drowning the caretaker dude, stabbing the girl's black-haired friend whilst she's shirtless (how bad would it suck to be dying and have your father see you "exposed" like that?) and the very end, where he tries to kill his little sister.

I recently saw 3:10 To Yuma, and I thought it was a good western. However, I thought the ending could have been better.

It was good, but Unforgiven is better IMO.

Just watched some trailers of that movie and I can´t help myself, but these three guys remind me of some of our forum members.

I don't often go to the moves, mostly because most of what comes out is absolute crap, but there is one movie I've been waiting for for a while, and they've finally released the teaser trailer.

This is the Iron Man movie. I've been a fan of Iron Man since I was a kid, and despite the modernization of the story line, I'm glad to see that they seem to have mostly kept to the basic background.

I watched Superbad recently. I don't know, I just don't see what everyone sees in that movie. It was funny, but I wasn't in danger of loosing my bowls in laughter. I guess I just don't get today's comedy any more.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

I've found myself more and more disappointed with movies these days and less likely to bother seeing them at the cinemas. So many seem like nothing more than a teaser for what ILM can do, rather than a good movie. But, that's just me

Iron man doesn't look to shabby. My favourite part of the entire trailer was the fact they used the original Black Sabbath song for the movie rather than some random re-hash :)

Yes, Iron Man does look quite nice. I am excited for it.

I was on imdb awhile ago, and looking up all the Marvel superhero movies that were coming out. You can see it for yourself here. I was looking forward for the Doctor Strange movie that was due out this year, but I never heard anything more about it. Then, I saw this at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. Apparently, Dr. Strange was made into an animated short film rather than live-action. I am a tad disappointed.

But I see that the list on imdb has removed Captain America (which is sad), but added Thor (which is sweet). Ahhh...I love these comic book movies. Aside from the first Hulk and Daredevil, that is...

Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side!
