I'm not a fan of the comics, though, and had never heard of Hulk, so that could be part of it. Daredevil... Okay, yeah, that was a pretty weird one, but I still liked the concept; again, I didn't know who Daredevil was when I saw it, but I still liked the idea of a blind superhero. His girlfriend dying three-quarters of the way through was odd, though, especially when she was trying to kill him and... Ah! He wasn't as popular as some other heroes. But Hulk?! Come on man! He must have been referenced a zillion times in pop culture and what not! And my biggest gripe with the Daredevil was actually aimed more at the character of the Kingpin. In the comics, hes this huge, manipulating, bald white guy. In Daredevil, the Kingpin is transformed into some black boxer. The Kingpin was a great villain who was big in Daredevil and Punisher comics, and also crossed-over into others (I know he shook Spidey's web quite a few times). Needless to say, they took this awesome crime boss (he had no super powers, thus never went toe-to-toe with heroes...he was more of a behind-the-scenes guy who hired other to do his dirty work) and transformed into this buffed out guy who was capable of competing with Daredevil mano-a-mano. Comics are basically dead... well.. not dead.. but they are definately critically wounded... Tofu is only.. what?.. 17? now?.. he was born when comics were at their height yes, but they quickly fell from the height and by the time he was old enough to read and enjoy them they were just the hobby of die hard fans.. if even that.. same thing with baseball cards.. i doubt Tofu is old enough to even have collected baseball cards... probably more like Pokemon and YuGiOh or whatever.. no knock to you Tofu.. It was very funny, yet heart-warming. I happen to think that he turned out to be a damned good actor.
