Ok, I'm going to have to debate that :wink:

 

I found Silent Hill really boring, and poorly thought out - maybe I needed to play the game first, but it was pretty bland and almost boring in my opinion. I liked where it was headed - and had hoped that the movie Doom was more like that (instead of the crap heap it became - why couldn't it have been based on Doom 3? That was a fantastic, scary as Hell game!), with the dark hellish themes and pretty good direction. But, other than that I felt the story lacked ... well, I'm yet to put my finger on it. Story? Consistency?

Bah, maybe it's just me :roll:

I was in class yesterday and there were these two older "students" in front of me. I'd estimate at late 30's-early 40's. Both women. Anyways, they were discussing (for some odd reason) which horror "monsters" freaked them out. And they started arguing over whether the monster in Friday the 13th was Freddy or Chuckie. Then the one said, "no wait. It's Jason". And the other one replied, "no Jason is the one in Elm Street". That was when I slammed my head onto the desk repeatedly, seeking the bliss of unconciousness...

Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side!

I have decided i am going tpo make a short horror film with some mates. i have the basic idea now all i need is the camera and some time.

I want to film my own commedy horror movie with a friend who's seen far too many horror flicks. It'll be entitled: Freddy vs. Jason: The Yesteryears

 

Starts out with them in daycare with Hannibal Lector, Scarface, pretty much every other horror movie icon ever. Jason is decapitating Barbie dolls with a plastic lunch knife.

 

Freddie has sticks tape to the fingers on his hand(s) (I have to actually watch Nightmare on Elm Street some day... :roll: )

 

At any rate, we have tons of material we've discussed, just nothing written down, yet.

Actually my idea isn't exactly zombies but something else.

I also have a parody of a horror film called "The Plant" which I would like to make.

The danish band Kasmir has actually made some low quality horror flicks. They are really.... one of a kind...

Can't say I care for the horror genre. It all seems kinda pointless to me!

 

sure... but aren't most movies pointless at some level??? :?

movie genres such as horror, action and comedy are made to entertain you.

Choosing which genre you find best is a matter of what you get a kick out of, or so I would say... If you like to watch people getting .......(well I'm thinking of Braindead with the lawnmower) fair enough. It's individual... Man some people listen to Celine Dion!!! :evil:

all movies (except documentaries i guess) are pointless i would say.. all take the temporary suspension of disbelief i believe is the phrase is... horror just has senseless blood and gore instead of senseless explosions and fight scenes..

Yeah it'll do that to you... Meet the feebles does that too, but not in the same way.

BTW not long ago a dvdbox was released with 5 of P. Jacksons old movies here in Europe...

8O You talking movies with gore and stuff right?.. cuz... about my parts... "adult movies" are.. uh.. hmm... yes... for mature audiences only... 18 and up.. XXX stuff...

I believe that the adult part is xxx-stuff JH, but it is my impression that these are sites where you buy dvds, both regular movies and .... well horizantal gymnastics...

The movies refered to are just gory...

 

But then again my liguistic skills in the german area is kind of feeble and rusty...

Well your right. You can buy there movies for each adult-taste. :D You can´t buy uncut Horror-Movies on amazon in germany. So you got to, uhm, cope with the other, uhm, adult-stuff. (I didn´t wrote staff :lol:)

All I found there was the "Meet the feebles/Bad Taste" double-dvd-edition for 4,99 Euros on emunio and xjuggler. Wow, nice price! 8O Maybe I should buy it too.

 

For 4,99 €??? Yeah it's a nice price. I bought the box with 5 dvd's for about 15€ (100 DK)

 

I think you should buy it. Bad taste is a must-have and meet the feebles is really funny
