There was a laser that did that?

Well the arena looks a bit like a pyramide the wrong way round with two levels. Well on the higher level if you look at each side of the higher level you should see symbols which can be moved with the force. Use pull on each of the two symbols. A laser will appear in the middle of the arena. Use Speed and jump through it. Be quick or Dessan will go before you. Now you are invincible. Keep speed on and run towards Dessan and attack him with the most powerful saber skill. He should quickly hit the dust.

Just as a reminder, try to keep the one-liners to a minimum. I am glad you all are staying on topic, just try to make your posts longer than 5-6 words.

Thanks,

Surprisingly it only took me one try to kill Dessan, and even then it wasn't too challenging. As I said, I was rather dissapointed.

In my mind, the most dissapointing star wars game i ever played was Dark Forces. I beat within hours of openeing the package, and within a day had the game beat on the hardest level.

Were you playing easy difficulty? I mean it took me about 7 tries before I managed. But i must say I read in a magazine a trick to "easily" kill Tavion. After 5 tries I decided on a more conventional method and beat here on the first try.

i beat the game on the second-from-most difficult setting.

Bad, were you talking about Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, or Jedi Knight II. The original Dark Forces is reather easy, but Jedi Knight is quite the opposite.

The original dark forces. And the only hard part of that game is beating the final boss. But I saved a bunch of those landmines, and those things can waste him, even at the hardest difficulty.

I love the Super Troopers. I wish they'd carry them through into later games. The Arc Hammer was also the coolest ship I've seen in while besides the Raven's Claw!

Super Troopers? You mean the Dark Troopers?

I wasn't too big on the Arc Hammer. I don't like the ships that the LA teams cook up that are suppose to be like SSDs, they just look corny.

The Arc Hammer had an interesting design to it. A mobile construction ship for the empires most dangerous troops? We should try and incorperate that into Rebellion some how.

Okay. BTW for the clone wars are you talking about the galactic battlegrounds extensoin now for the games.

Jedi academy: the third episode of the jedi knight series. This is the first one where you do not play Kyle Katarn.

You play a student (you can choose its specie and its gender) which is integratrating Luke Skywalker's Academy. From there you choose the missions you wish to accomplish and your force powers.

The game's main weapon is the lightsaber which can get quite boring after a moment. But you can choise different kinds of lightsabers and colors. But the game can get quite boring after a moment.

Battle for Naboo: A game ressembling greatly rogue squadron but happening during the naboo invasion. One of the main differences of Rogue Squadron is that you can pilot ground vehicules in this game.

Galactic Battlegrounds: A startegie game working on the Age of Kings engine but set in the SW universe. with 6 different campaigns (one by faction). One of my favorite games.

Galactic Conquest: this i9s actually a mod for Battlefield 1942. Very fun to play this is really worth getting if you own battlefield and can't wait for Battlefront to come out.

Jedi Starfighter: This is a game like Starfighter but set during the clone wars.

Knights of the Old Republic. A fantastic RPG set 4000 years before the Ep1. Very deep and updates can be obtained on the internet.

Starfighter: A game set during ep1. Very fun and the story is really good. And Darth Maul's Infiltrator is unlockable and very nice to pilot.

This game is a good purchase and you will surely like it if you like the Roque Squadron series.

The Clone Wars: A game were you pilot ship during the great clone war battles. Bof frankly I had fun playing this game but its very easy to finish. I recommend you get this second hand.

Episode 1 Racer: A great Podracing game. A real must have. I mean who wouldn't want to pilot Sebulba's Podracer.

Galaxies: An MMORPG set in the SW universe I hear this is very good and with the extensions coming out these days I recommend you get this

If you have any other questions about any other SW game just ask.

BTW is the Arc Hammer the SSD in JK2?

Im sorry, but until they update the combat systm on galaxies so its not turn based, that game is not worth playing at all.

KOTOR - 25 dollars.

Computer upgrades to play game - 50 dollars.

Beating the game in every way possible in two weeks - Frustrating

I also found that with KotR. It was too easy, even as a light-side Jedi with almost no force powers. However, I find your claim that you beat it in every manner possible in only two weaks rather far fetched. Remember, there is 3 difficulty settings (maybe more, I can't remember), three classes, and three posssible force alignments (light, neutral, dark). Plus, there is manny situations where your choice effects the rout you take to complete a level (ie. kill the big fish, or destroy the Republic pumps. Sneak into the Sith base using false ID cards, or break in by killing a bunch of Dark Jedi and stealing their ship).

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
