hmmm, to many good games too choose from . . .

Ok, KOTOR is a definite, All the Jedi Knight games (especially Academy, literally just finished twice in a week on the hardest difficulty - but still very fun), Force Commander, Rebellion X-Wing Alliance, TIE Fighter and that's pretty much on my favourites.

Of course there are the others that I like, like Galactic Battlegrounds, Rogue Squadron etc.

To many games, not enough money

I don't know why every body is saying KOTOR is the best because my friend mad has it and from what I saw it looked a little bit doll. The only good thing about it is that you can shoos to be a Sith or a Jedi. The bad thing is that it hasn't got very good graphics. :(

It doesn't sum up, XBOXs are about $200 around here, plus I'm not much of a console gamer, I dislike about 98% of the console games...

HALO alone makes the cost of an X-Box worth it. Not to mention HALO 2.

Five of the Greatest Lines in the Star Wars Trilogy ;)

-"As you wish..."

-"He's no good to me dead..."

-"What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me."

-"Put Captain Solo in the Cargo Hold"

-"AaaaaAAaaaaaa!!"

You know, you can have Halo on computer, and when you play on line, there are more people. And the computer version is made later, that is a pity, but that means that it has been improved.

Actaully the computer version of HALO was simply ported from X-Box to PC and is worse on PC as it is optimised to run on the specific system of an X-Box. Not to mension that they've created effects with shaders that can only be done using a 3D card that is shader compatible - so without this you lose some of the nice effects. Also, the game will run slower on different architectured CPUs - ie non-intel, different contruct principles, 64-bit etc.

I must say, the Halo is the reason I have an XBOX and Halo 2 is the reason I am keeping it.

Yes, I would say the best games on the Xbox are:

Halo

Knights of the Old Republic

Ninja Gaiden

Chronicles of Riddick

Well :? . I will say it was a game that you play when there is nothing else. I only got it because it was on sale. Even if I must say that some perspectives of the game are interessting.

I tend more to prefer a game for the amount of enjoyment I get from playing it than by its kind. Even if I must say I do not really like Tetris. :D

I always liked strategy games more.

I've played Dark Forces, JK II and Wolfenstein, but none of them has attracted me more than Rebellion, Age of Empires, Age of Myth, Homeworld, etc.

Civilisation, Age of Empires, Homeworld, Rebellion, Master of Orion,...

Strategy Games will always be my favourites.

That's why I wish for one good space RTS game in the Star Wars universe.

Is that too much?

One good one?

Please?

OK, I'll go to bed now...

I love most games based on Star Wars

What do you think of galactic battlegrounds?

Personally I love Galactic battlegrounds, it actually was a good RTS. :)

I'm personally not impressed with some of the SW games out there. Games like Dark Forces and the Jedi Knight games were great, as were XvT anf X-Wing Alliance. This said, while Nights of the Old Republic was entertaining for the first bit, it felt lacking in something. I personaly enjoy Rebellion mor than Galactic Battlegrounds. I thing GB was little more than a glorified MOD. I think that, of late, LucasArts has grown too confident and think that the Star Wars name will carry thier games without much effort. I'm looking forward to Republic commando but I hope the hype over it will prove more true than that for Force Commander or Galaxies; An Empire Divided.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

GB was indeed nothing but a mod, from Age of Empires, it was fun because it was a well-done mod, but it lacked innovation. And, of course, because of those nasty Gungans. Couldn't someone just mod some Yuuzhan Vong to replace the idiotic frog-faces. :?::twisted::evil:
