Yavin 4
Yavin 4 is a temperate moon covered in dense tropical jungle in the Sith Worlds region, inhabited by Duro, Humans and Massassi, and without any listed economic output.
Yavin 4 is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Yavin.
History
Yavin 4 turned into an emblem of hope for opponents of the tyrannical Galactic Empire. Having hosted the Rebel Alliance's base during this decisive moment, the moon caught Imperial attention, as the Empire wanted revenge for its crushing defeat. Aware of the looming threat, the Rebel Alliance had to move to a new and safer base. The outpost on Yavin 4 now carries historical weight, marking the start of a fresh phase of the struggle between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Sith Worlds sector; the original game calls it the Sumitra sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
