I've started into revamping/ rebuilding my website again today.

 

As part of the make-over I decided that the main page should feature an animated gif with the title of series I host on the site. I haven't made any from scratch before so I think it turned out well enough.

Uugh. Not used to animating. Took me an hour longer to make than I planned. I was also thinking as I made it that I could turn that animation into a Death Star approach later on if I want to.

Nice gif. What do you use for animating?

I used the ever um... superduper, stupendous ... 'MS Paint XP' and GIF animator. Man, I'm totally tech level ten here.

 

(I couldn't do this before with any speed because I used to have 'MS Paint ME' which can't save files as a .Gif )

Running the risk of perhaps being wrong, doesn't ImageReady only come with the full version of PhotoShop, which is rather expensive at retail?

 

It is a handy tool though...

Sadly yes. But its due to the fact that they are meant to work in tandem.
