Mad, the work looks fantastic! I wish I could do half of what you can on a computer with my brain!

 

I would suggest slowing down the speed of the text and/or adding a third paragraph, that way it fits with the speed of the music at the beginning of all Star Wars films.

I haven't yet made any textures so I just applies some red and grey to give it a little color. I am woking on textures... And its gonna be long.

 

I am going to add a thrid paragraph once I have thought one up.

We need to see more of the ship in the video than we do words.

(Fixed up my old Tie Vengance a bit.)

The Tie Vengance/Vandal project was developed by a seperate SFS design team in competition to the Tie Gauntlet program. The Vengance was to be a more expensive, higher performance fighter equipped with shields and hyperdrive. The Vandal was intended to be closer to the origional Tie starfighter in terms to cheapness to produce and would be used to support their more expensive cousins in larger engagements. Like the old Tie, the Vandal lacked shields and hyperdrive but could match the Inetceptor for performance.

Well I first model the ship with a max of detail and then add texture details where i think it is necessary.

I can't get 3ds max, but I do have Blender. And I am getting better at modeling (nothing compared to THAT though ). I am going to be working on by Rebellion 2 project with Blender though. My first model will be a custom ship of my own design called the O-Wing interceptor. (New Republic version of the TIE Cyclone)

 

It is going to be a central cockpit with the engines behind it all surrounded by the circular wing. As soon as I get the basic shape, I will post pics. (just remember, I suck at modeling right now!)

B) I don't have the spare time, and I don't care tremendously for the demos I find. I wish it would just give me an owner's manual that I could read through, or else some more advanced in-program tutorials!

I rarely use the book that the software comes with. I just go in and wing it. Then, if that didn't work, I skim through the book. I usually look up tutorials for more advanced stuff though. And for harder-to-use programs that I don't have the book for.

The Tie Cyclone? That was made back in 2001 I think Eagle.
