I was behind a large Ford truck, the kind that screams "I'm compensating for something!" rather loudly on my way to school in the morning. Anyway, the truck had all sorts of flaming decals all over the place- the rear-view mirror was even designed to look like it was on fire. And then we get to the lovely license plate, baring the words Hell Sixty-four. Except he decided to be cute and misspell "Hell." The plate read: HEL64. For those of you who speak l33t, this should prove rather funny right away. October 14, 200719 yr Drew this up just now, thought some of the people here might appreciate it. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/Massdrivertower.gifI had this idea a couple of years ago to use carbon nanotube assemblies to build a large massdriver to throw cargo into orbit. Humans would be put into orbit the old fassioned way on transfer vehicles. Instead of building the massdriver on a tower it would be suspended from concentric rings of super light nano-tube cable held aloft by Helium baloons. This is not a finished concept but the overall idea should be viable.
