Really enjoying playing the mod, best thing is that it hasnt crashed once!! only wierd thing is the ships seem to slide about alot.

I think it has to be the ISD, its one of the most iconic ships of star wars, 12 of those lead by a SSD is a pretty damn cool sight to behold.

no you put the big file inside the data folder, you edit the command line to look something like "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod PLANETPACK.BIG,OLDSHIPS.Big,SWSOUND.BIG,SWMUSIC.BIG,GENHODS.BIG,SHIPHODS.BIG,CORE.BIG -luatrace -hardwarecursor You find the command line if you right click the HW2exe on you desktop and press properties, then change the target to what i have here ( i assume you installed hw2 in the default directory), anyways, i hope that helps

Hi Mark well i've had a problem with my fleet being set to jump for a few turns, as far as i can see all the fighters are loaded up into the fleet, destination is set, also when i tried to order a unit it said i didnt have enough money (i had added it up and i was was under), also the amount dosnt update (and thus it becomes very hard to track you actually funds) when you buy stuff.

well i will see about getting online time to play at some stage, havent played warlords online in some time!

Well has anyone had any problems getting it to run with vista? bit wierd, i reinstalled it and now it just wont start up, dosnt always install either, any idea here?

Well have you tried NGO drivers, i use vista with SP2 and the latest ngo drivers and have no problems whatso ever

Well im currently using Vista 32bit and have had the same problem with bullguard antivirus, i found before they released a vista version it still worked with compatibility mode however i have heard that is wont work as well with the 64bit version. I am just asking this as im planning on getting a new system assuming a get cheque through as i was wondering really if it worth getting a the 64bit version installed or the 32bit version installed. I get the same problem with Vista 32bit when playing hw2, it also says my graphics card is running in PCI mode and i should change it to AGP mode, slightly confused by this myself. I do think that some of this is due to the age of my card, i cant wait till i can get a PCI-e card

Ok i only asked cos i thought they had increased the amount of RAM that vista 32bit could support, btw you do know that vista disc inludes all versions of vista however the cd key will only work for version of vista you purchased.

Thats a really nice machine you have, how is vista 64 going, have you found many programs that wont run on it, do you actually need the 64bit vista to use use 4 gigs of ram? (personally i thought with vista it supported 4gig fine) Do you find the quad core actually worth the money then?

Well i kinda got it working now, havent had any luck getting the old ships big to work when using imperial, when i tried random it loaded me as republic and worked fine. I do however have another issue, it seems to randomly crash saying something a hw2.exe exception :-/

Well im not sure about the exacts but the issue was that you couldnt save information onto the server, bit of a arse, i had a working server however the guy who hosted it decided to delete it without telling me so im going to go in the format of a more email based game however still using warlords to fight ship battles. It should be interesting as really it isnt limited in anyway by a 2D app. I will also need to find a map and all but that shouldnt be much of a issue.

Well im back again, i've had alot of problems with the server so i decided that perhaps i will have to do this another way, i what i have been thinking is that the game has 2 turns a week and basically you email your actions, the plus side to this that the game isnt limited by a rather old and dated server.

well basically all that needs doing is some testing of ships, nothing is really gona happen on my side until after i move in a few weeks, atm im abit busy with work and finding a new house/flat. Once this is done this project wont seem as dead.

really its worth watching, its nothing like smallvile, i used to watch rome, was pretty good but it was on late and usually when a good film was on.
