  1. Lots of patience...
  2. Yes! Although, if you know how the AI operates, you sort of know where a enemy fleet goes to anyway. The AI always sends a defeated or fleeing fleet to the closest system it controls. So...If you click on Confirmed Move and find the closest system, go there quickly and mop up the puny Rebel scum!
  3. It takes a village to raise a Jawa...or something like that...
  4. The Kurds tried to turn on him. They won't do that again, anytime soon. Saddam is sort of like Tarkin in the SW movies. Rule by Fear is the doctrine of Iraq. The recent "elections" were unanimous because if the Iraqi people didn't vote for Saddam, they were killed. I'd say that was a pretty good motivator to vote for him.
  5. So, you couldn't control Chewie, he was just listed as an Imperial agent when you looked at the personnel button at the bottom...okay, that makes sense. I thought you had Chewie going on missions for the Empire. Yes, betraying characters show up in that list.
  6. I saw that...did I read it right that it has 5 discs??
  7. How similar is it to C&C Red Alert? I mean besides the killing enemy units to be able to build more?
  8. Mask...why not visit Amazon.com and order it online... Wait...are you waiting for the English version to be released in Germany or are you waiting for the "German Language" version?
  9. But it's still mission based, right? Finish one mission and move onto the next (like Tie Fighter or X-Wing...except not a flight sim).
  10. The mockumentary is supposed to be a "history" of R2 and his exploits in Hollywood. I haven't seen it yet.
  11. Send your pic to me, and I'll put it on my website. Then you can link to it there... blight@smurfit.com
  12. Yes...a new poster... ~~Untimely uses the Force to bend Igor's mind~~ You want to make a new poster... It should contain Yoda with a Lightsaber... Go to the closest convenience store and buy many Fritos and Doritos... Bark like a dog... ~~Untimely is amused by the vision of Darth Vader making Captain Antilles bark like a dog in ANH~~
  13. Hello and welcome to the world of Rebellion! Yes, RebEd allows you to use Ep I and/or Ep II characters/ships/troops. RebEd is available in the Downloads section of this site. We've had several requests for a tutorial on how to use RebEd here lately. There was a tutorial before, but this site went down for a while and some of the items available before are not available now. Igor or Evaders, can we get a tutorial back up?
  14. You can change avatars, now. You have to link to a file in your own website, though. It's in your "Profile" options. I'll go back to Tarkin after I'm not a Colonel...it's just that Colonel Klink was too good to resist!
  15. I've got a helluva fight on my hands...speaking of Death Stars, I have one in orbit around Coruscant as a defence. Add an Interdictor and about 75 squadrons of TIE Defenders, and this is dangerous territory, indeed! Now, if I can only find that damn Reb HQ...
  16. Pucho...no problemo! Glad to hear you're out of the hospital...hope it wasn't anything serious (although I suppose it must have been for you to have been there 2 weeks!). I just lost a fleet last night because I underestimated my opponent's fleet (actually, I didn't even know there was a fleet there...poor intelligence). In retalliation, I sent many ISDs to "deal" with the situation. I'd like to see an option in Rebellion 2 that would allow a fleet to specify beforehand where they escape to...because in battle, you usually don't have time to figure out where you will escape or calculate the jump. I think I remember from the EU that fleets would have escape routes already calculated when they entered a dangerous situation. Anyway, that would be a cool option.
  17. Igor: It's very, very good and worth it. There is a seperate DVD just for the bonus material. They claim there is 6 hours of bonus material, but I only got to check out about an hour (baby cries, everything else ends!). Trust me, just having all the trailers and TV commercials together, the deleted scenes, interviews with Lucas, storyboards, etc., etc. is AWESOME! A definite must-buy even at $30 (though I haven't seen it that expensive anywhere). BTW, the one thing I didn't like was you have to buy either the Widescreen or Fullscreen version...since this was digital from beginning, couldn't they package them both together like Monsters, Inc.?
  18. I just bought the Ep II DVD for $19.00! I love Wal-Mart...cause I ain't got no money!
  19. Finding one person in a world of billions is hard enough. Finding a person who is receiving help to stay hidden is very hard, indeed. It may be taking a while to find Bin Laden, but the Iraq situation is not an attempt to take attention away from the total war on terrorism. Iraq is led by a dangerous madman who will stop at nothing but the destruction of the "infidels" (i.e. people who do not listen to Saddam or do not believe in his version of Islam). He has stockpiles of chemical weapons and there are reports he has biological weapons. There is evidence of a nuclear weapons program, though nobody knows exactly how far along he is. But a madman with weapons that can kill thousands upon thousands of people is too dangerous to allow to continue his plans. Whether you believe in war or not, there will be a war. The question is, do we (the world) wait until Saddam has weapons that can slaughter thousands of innocents or do we stop him now? I think the answer is very simple. BTW, Putin is incredible...just look at what he said now! http://abc.net.au/news/2002/11/item20021113013050_1.htm
  20. Maybe an action figure.....
  21. ...or 3PO could translate You know he's fluent in over 3 million forms of communication and... ~~Everyone throws rotten tomatoes at Untimely Demise~~ Oops...sorry!
  22. "Lord Markaine, please accompany me to the briefing room. This is one of my officers, Lieutenant Samig Mabak. Imperial Fleet Command specifically asked for him to be included in this meeting." "Please, follow me." The party turned and started for the lift. A pilot who had accompanied Lord Markaine left for his quarters. Colonel Loor wondered about this silent guest. It was an enigma that Command would send such a quiet stranger to an escort carrier, along with a test pilot. There were several capable test pilots onboard the Dark Gnome, so why did we need another? Perhaps this Sergeant had something special about him...or sinister. The pilot had been sent to his quarters with instructions to meet the rest of the party in briefing room 7A. Perhaps now, this mystery could be revealed.
  23. That looks great, mask! WTG
  24. The babelfish begins to translate... ~~Roxers Your Boxers~~
  25. It's what all the starships are wearing these days...whatever happened to FASHION???
