AOHell=AOL=America Online=the bane of online gamers AOL is the worst ISP available for playing games online, since you get "kicked" if you aren't actively searching the web (which you don't do while playing online games). Nothing is worse than having an enemy X-Wing in your sights and getting kicked offline I am not a fan of AOL, as you can tell ~~Untimely spits as he has to actually form the word AOL in his mouth~~

"Achtung!" cries 3P0! Gotta say, that's the extent of my knowledge of German... Hey, I think I figured out what the deal is with that "flash". If you right-click on the shortcut, there are several new options on XP. One in particular is an option to "play in 256 colors". I think I'm going to try that and see if it helps. Also, it seems you can "emulate" a Win 95/98 machine with XP! I'm really starting to like XP! I'll bet that might help with Tie Fighter on XP as well...I'll have to dig out the old CD!

Holy S**T! I didn't know about that...I live in the states, so I don't have that extra charge. What the hell could cost so much to have a $46 shipping charge??? Sorry folks, but if you don't live in the US, this seems to be an expensive proposition! You'd think they'd give the Brits a little cheaper rate, considering it's British actors in the movies that are (at least partially) filmed in UK!

Firewalls suck. I shall scream that from the top of the tallest building on Coruscant!!! Thanks, Jahled for finding that site...that was hilarious! I don't get to watch Conan O'Brian, since I'm older than dirt and he comes on very late. Old people like me can't stay awake long enough to watch late night shows (well, they can...but work the next day is not very fun! )

eh? I didn't see it on Lucasarts' website...btw, does anybody else get an annoying little "flash" when playing Rebellion on XP? I think XP is weirded out by a game that runs in 256 color. I wonder if the patch improves Rebellion's performance on XP? Since I'm at work and the damn firewalls prevent me from visiting lucasarts.com, could someone let me know?

You don't have to call me "Mister", I'm not that old! I prefer playing the Glorious Galactic Empire. Crushing the pitiful, insignificant Rebellion gives me great joy! Actually, I sometimes play the Rebel scum, but I prefer to build Star Destroyers and reduce the ragtag Rebel fleet to smoldering embers floating lifelessly in the cold vastness of space! Gosh...that was a bit over the top, wasn't it?
