  1. DIPLOMACY that was the word i was looking for, it was on the tip of my mind but i just couldnt think about it... Anyway, if they would bring out an expansion, remember the modding tools should be out by then that makes it ieven more easier to mod

  6. i experimented somewhat with time, but it doesnt seem to be accurate, i changed it for 1 second for a x-wing, but it seemed to be off around 2 seconds... or is it just my computer? because it kinda lags a little bit when setting the timer so quik
  7. How about making a 'squad" of units like han solo? not all of them are heros ofcourse? but it would be fun watching a squad of them taking out lots of units, ofcourse their firepower needs to be lwered even more then, but .. what do you peeps think?
  8. hm... dont know about that, no offense but rugby (dont know if it is the same in english) we have a big field where are played big games of that once a year, and there are alot of english teams, and those teamplayer can drink beer like they have no stomach or anything, the police patrols around that time more then they do in a week.

I figured out it is Campaign_alpha and i changed and added already some stuff but with no effect. A: Q: How do I add Hardpoints, and how do i know where the hardpoint will apear? and how do I influence that? A: Q: What File(s) do you edit the most? Give a top 5 or top 10 for those Files. A: Q: Where do I find the buildings like factorys and barracks those sorta buildings, and where do i edit the value a mining facility gives? A: Q: ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D A: Thanks for the answer, i think these questions could be handy for everyone.

  13. it would add a fun factor in the game, just imagine, home one vs (i cant remember the name but its invisible on the radar and it is used for bombing a special power not the mig but a big black plane? do you know what i mean?

  16. hm i dont agree dorkthehunter, an expansion pack can add stuff you cant modd in, like being able to talk an enemy planet in joining you (i cant remember the word) or more official units and stuff like that, altough i would LOVE to see the stuff of the KOTOR series

  18. if you want to avoid the enemy building those ships, why not increasing the price to absurd high prices? that way the ai cant afford it. problem solved?
  19. i have the same video card, and i can play the game... good.. not perfectly but hey with a card like that you cant expect much. Anyway there is a way to be able to have somewhat unlimted troops but not realy unlimeted. allow me to explain. You do not do this to all units, only the medium powered ones. and the fighters. This way they cant overpower you with 100+ isd. You however will have the advantage as rebels with your y wing, using those can kill a ship in 1 attack, if cooordinated properly
  20. hm i would say hangars kom on the second place and egines are first priority! Think about it, after any anti fighters are killed, and you have some Y-wing, you can easely destroy the engines what renders the ship useless. or as good as anyway. when that is happened, and you did that for all the ships, you can just use guerailla attacks, and more specific, attack a SIDE of a ship. so you can move your ships to that side and the ship is helpless
  21. i disagree with you people. Why the hel should they make 2 diffrent 'games' when they can do that in LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of expansion packs? huh huh uh?
  22. i would like to ask you people to give me some extra details about the books, just some stuff that happens and what luke does and stuff until his 40? what writers should i look for? are the books translated into dutch? if not, are they published in belgium? i do not expect to give a full page of details just some... details that wants you to know more
  23. the tilde key does not respond in my game and i agree with what you people say, only use cheats when you already beaten the game and to skip boring missions
  24. update: i dont think those big ships should be able to enter oribit, it would be cooler using fighters... could you not model earth-type-like fighters? F-19 or whatever?
  25. well, i geuss nothing, since escape pods are suposed to be escaping?!? anyway, perhaps finding a way to let them fall back as a retreat? or perhaps making them invicible? since attacking escape pods is.. cowardly?!? seriously i suggest we givet he escape pods powerfull shields and powerfull engines to let em outrun the enemys ships, a this point i wouldt care about the fact that this isnt correct compared to the sw universum. If the battle is won, they should apear as soldiers in galactic view
