it is very simple just use the torpedo hp for the ywing! HP_bomber02 i think! all you have to do is add it to xwing! thats it! and change is bomber to yes as well -
i find that at least now you can see them whem they are that small!

you can only have about 80 planets, i had over 100 at one point, adding more really starts to slow down the game (even with 2GB RAM)! You will see it in another mod soon! the planets are almost completely done, the TEXT edits for planet descriptions is VERY time consuming.

v1 of 'civil war' mod wont be ready until sometime this weekend. And will only include changes to ALL space aspects! but no ground changes (am working on it though)

you have to reuse current ones space and ground until a map editor is available. the best you can do is match maps to planet /system types. ie forest to forest, urban to urban, astroid to astroid, etc... -
add katarn to a system you own in the campaign your playing! under singleplayercampaign.xml

almost done with the planets correct positions, though some might be slightly out of position, to allow for the fleets and names to all be usable. will work on trade routes next, these are easy though! -

because we cannot add models, i have to reuse models, the 'a-9 vigilance interceptor' is from dark empire. i just used the a-wing as a base model for the a-9, since they are both interceptors! -

I'll finish the galaxy today/tonight then (sry working on adding the new units, ALL (well except misc like preybird, cloakshape and other misc fighters) of starfighters (see below) are in and working. When i get off work and finish them, i'll pm the files (planets, traderoutes, and master text file is all i think). let me know i forget some files sometimes and have changed 30% of the total game files) to you, expect them around 4-7pm today. all starfighters: TIE Fighter TIE Bomber TIE Scout TIE Interceptor TIE Advanced TIE Defender TIE Robotic TIE Phantom Assault gunboat Missile boat Scimitar Bomber I-7 howlrunner X-Wing y-Wing a-Wing b-Wing e-Wing k-Wing a-9 (reb and emp) z-95 thinking about prey bird cloakshape shuttles adding today Skipray - both Escort Shuttle - both Assault Transport - reb Assault shuttle - emp Lambda shuttle - both Sentinal shuttle - emp stormtrooper transport - emp delta transport - reb few others but not alot of data on them (and if it cant help at all for space battles then useless to add), may have also missed a fedw obvious ones... -

Cain's ( i hope he isnt waiting for my galaxy) or mine (Civil War)? I would say tht i will have civil war ready for its first release sometime this week or by trhe end of the weekend. If i didnt have to go to work, im sure it would be done now! My galaxy w/traderoutes is 85% complete. Star Wars Civil War is 20% complete. First release will be only general editing (general gameplay and all misc space files), galaxy, and all space units (all changes and new units). ground (changes and new units) and heroes will be next release! -
stations perhaps, maybe one of the structures xml's, ill post if if i see it while editing tonight.

there is no scroll bar, but i have solved this with shipyards: three types Light - starfighters and shuttles Medium - corvettes to medium cruisers Heavy - heavy cruisers and above (includes WorldDev, EclipseSD, and Torpedo Sphere as examples, except DS I, DS II, and GalaxyGun) this way you can have up to 26 of each type class (light, medium, and heavy) allowing you to have 78 space units per side, excluding stations (HQ level 1 station (only one available now, the ----> (def stations are primary now) and Defense stations - Galon I,II, III), sensors, jammers, shipyards, etc -
if you add more then 1 unit per item, add it to squadrons.xml (space) and groundcompanies.xml (ground)

you change the text data with a data editor, find it in mod tools in sticky! you can edit remove or add new ones! typical options, however to get them to stay you have to use SAVE AS and overwrite the file. save will save it but wont make it work in game for somereason, so USE SAVE AS! -

there are a few spelling errors to be fixed, and i have to reposition some of the planets after deleting 20! and the trade routes are VERY easy to add (just two files to edit!). remember that every map of the galaxy is a little dif, and to make them all work in game - spacing, names, fleets, visual distances and such they have to be somewhat out of position. as far as changing the icons, yes it is posible to put a smaller image or a generalized icon (ie a tank or atat for all ground forces). also if you look in my mod post (civil war) i have added several units (just a few in the pics). right now im working on starfighters and shuttles, and am up to about 20 total for both sides (shuttles are now a playable/buyable unit), shuttles are those halfway ships, stronger then starfighters, but much weaker then capital ships. -
the bulwark battlecruiser, is one of those BS units created by some games (for BS balance reasons), that should never be used or talked about again! I dont think serious modders will include it in their mod. not trying to be an (censored), so overlook any overtones...

I will correct spelling errors and reposition planets...when i get to it! please remember, no star wars map shows all planets in the same area, so putting them in will never please everyone, however some do need to be moved...
