  1. sevral things in the demo vido they said units are NOT ment to pass thru the shield and that they are working on that. Also the moron said the generator was outside in true starwars fashion yet that was a complete lie. In ep5 the battle for hoth had the generator INSIDE the shield thats why they landed troops to blow it up so there ships could bombard the planet.
  2. hmm dont really shock me if its true, i didnt really exptect to see a ISD with 64+laser systems firing lol would cause some serious slow down for alot of users.
  3. the MAP system is gona be for efriends etc.. to play togher or die hards who hook up online most people will probly stick to skirmish mode.
  4. i will only be playing the MAP with max planets online so what works SP works MP.

Most of the buildings as i understand it is for placing basicly your factories and shipyards etc.. that make your units on the galatic map and they are not really used in battle so i dont see the pronlem. (and yes BMFE2 cut the fixed spots out and i hate it we are back to microing workers again) And most went unused and sevral others had such a limted role they might as well not been there more is not always better.

You do know there is no base building like other C&C games right? you dont build up a base durning ground combat to pump out tanks and troops.So i dont get what your meaning by your above statement. most agree with you and we will have tons more from the mod teams. Also make sure you check under the armies option as there are more units listed there.

  8. TBH i dont give a ratass about the retail shiplist or popcap anymore the overall game eng is what i want out, after the modders change the pop cap add in tons of more units and planets we will have the good eaw game but not till then.
  9. Did you not read the new Q&A thread? It states there 6ISD is max on map at one time. I just hope the reble fighters are super strong or tis gona cause problems.
  10. LOL that pop cap does worry about me, i mean 6 ISD? i had hoped for atlest 10 or so with suport ships around 10-15. oh well i expect the first mod by the end of week 1 will be a pop cap one I truly love how modders can add in more planets, we can get a on more now for much larger games.

  12. that could be 1 fleet but all 5 neb's could be 1 pop cap i really dont think the smaller caps will count 1 for 1 they will probly come in squads.
  13. they need to do what bfme2 did, put in a option to change the pop caps. BFME2 has a 1/3 2/3 1 2x 4x one other one then a 100x (there is no nda so i didnt break any rules saying that)
  14. umm you can invade 2 planets at the same time, but you only fight the battles one at a time I doubt fleet movement is instant since this is not a TBS map game but the map is in real time so sending 3 fleets at 3 planets that arive around the same time still result in 3 battles one right after the other.

  17. To me that is stronger. I not been dispointed yet. Looks like a fan site unless i am missing the 'offical" seal some where, so the info can be wrong. As far as the weapons your site shows ISD2 having 32 guns per side for 64 main guns. So they say the ship has many common cannons but fail to list numbers. looks like the MC has 30 or so main cannons on each side but use ion cannons with turbo lasers plus carries better fighters in the form of x-wings so again i dont see any hard proof that the MC should not be able to hold its own vrs a ISD2.
  18. basicly how many pop cap slots do cap ships like ISD and MC take and can we get the smaller ships like nebs and corvs in 2-3 per unit Also are fighters free since they are docked on cap ships? will x-wings be free since they can jump on there own? Stuff like that

People are forgeting you have to protect your planets, and we have no idea how long it takes to build ISD or MC i mean if you own 10 planets 3 are set as shipyards and all 3 are making ISD while the rebles have the same with 3 yards making smaller ships for all we know they will have 3-4times the fleets ships the emprie will allowing them to strike sevral worlds at once to your 1 with yuor big bad ISD
  20. Mind showing me the hardcore facts from LA where this should not happen? from the few books i read the MC could infact standup to a ISD because of the extra shielding. Also your ausming again(something you are doing alot of the past few days) that the MC is not being designed to be weaker then a ISD and that the x-wings and y-wings will not make a ISD vrs a MC a balanced fight.
  21. I think your opinion might be right and it might be wrong as i know sevral who like gamespy and sevral who dont its to hard to really say. I am sorry i did not mean the OP was ranting or whining i was meaning alot of others tend to post those type of threads.

  24. People need a chill pill till we see how the pop cap works. since fighters are probly free cap ships could count as 1 and smaller caps like neb etc.. could be 2-3 per 1 point. So again just chill till we hear some more info.
