  1. I been having the same problem with vader and obiwan, also when i build a death star and bring it to a space battle I can't see it and I'm not able to shoot at the rebel space station or a rebel capital ship.
  2. I agree with this, ships should have a time period to repair themselves in order to attack another planet.
  3. Where is that mod?, the one I have I can only play with the assault frigate mark II.
  4. I have tested stormtroopers after playing the demo for the nine time and let me report that stormtroopers and rebels troopers are the same. Same firepower, same armor protection and both get take cover option. The only difference about the two of them is that stormtrooper squads come in two squads of nine troopers for a total of 18, thats why they cost more. Rebel troopers come in 3 squads of 5 troopers for a total of 15, thats why they cost less. Imperial troopers cost 60 credits, rebels troopers cost 52 or 53 credits. They are both well balance and both are the same, only difference is that imperials get 3 more storm troopers than the rebels. Imperials 18, rebels 15.
  5. Its because you have none, you have used all the reinforcements you had. Dont forget that this is a tutorial, that AI gave you the reinforcements you needed to complete the mission.
  6. Storm troopers are good. All you need to know is how to use them.
  7. Rebel troops are more tactical, because the rebellion dont have the resources to get lots of troops like the empire, thats why they get the option to take cover. The empire is all about strength in numbers. In EAW imperial troops are stronger than rebel troops, but the rebels get the take cover option, which reduce the amount of damage they take, thats why you see that they are more powerfull, but they are not. How to deal with this?, Always have tons of troops together or a few at-sts will fix that.
  8. Not to me, I have played the demo 4 times and found that they are equally strong. Meaby is the way you lead them or organize them. Rebel troops are more tactical, because the rebellion dont have the resources to get lots of troops like the empire, thats why they get the option to take cover. 9. After playing the game for the fourth time, i can be more specific on the things that I found on the demo. 1) The game has been done very carefully, the details of the graphics and the gameplay are amazing, the movie camera is awesome and the zoom in is great. 2) Both factions are very strong, it took me like two times to defeat the empire on capturing tatooine. 3) Boombing runs are out of this world and the down timer is just right. 4) Planetary creatures are cool, although I'm interested on learning how to take control of the rancor , like it shows in one of the movies. 5) I love the fact that you don't have to build a base in order to attack, like aoe III and c&c Genereals. Some people don't like that, but look at the bright side. Now you don't have to rush to win, in here you can enjoy the game. On generals and aoe III, people just rush in and don't take the time to enjoy the game . In EAW you concentrate on building your fleet and army, you don't have to collect gold or cut some wood and that is what make this game great. Is like a new and fresh type of RTS. 6) I love the side missions, thats awesome. being able to use a smuggler to steal money and a bounty hunter to kill him is cool. 7) Mini heroes like fleet commander and army commanders are great, because they really make a difference on the battlefield. (imagine the main heroes ) The AI interaction is very interesting and more real. Although I found that it could be alot better, because AI don't take in consideration your rank for what I saw on the demo. For those of you that already played the demo have notice that for the rebels, Mon mothna gives you the orders and for the empire some officers is the one that is giving you orders. Notice that at the last tutorial as the empire when you win the officer that gives you orders tells you that: " Grand Moff Tarking will be pleased with my success". He takes all the credits for himself, not that is wrong, because thats how the empire work, but they should include a ranking system were you can gain ranks and AI interaction with you change, like for example: if you are an imperial, the higher your rank, the more respect AI will have towards you and let you receive orders for higher ranking officers like Grand Moff Tarking, Lord Vader and the Emperor himself. 9) Space station and capital ships explosions are out of this world. I can't wait to use the Death star to explode a planet. So Far in my opinion I cant find anything wrong or bad with the game. Honestly is a work of art. Some people complain that the demo is to short, but thats the purpose of it, to make it short and leave you with the feeling of wanting more and more. For the expansion I would love to see the game integrate the expanded universe, from episode 6 and after, see heroes like Grand Admiral Thrawn and more infantry like darktrooper and more fighters like the tie interceptor, tie defender and the E-wing
  10. Not to me. As soon I landed Han Solo and Chewbacca, he came flying using his jetpack to hunt Han down( I like that very much ). 11. AMAZING, thats the word for this demo. Forget that it was too short. Don't forget that the purpose of it is to leave you the feeling of wanting more and more. That was the mistake Microsoft did with AOE III demo. They gave the people a demo with two skirmish maps and 2 campaigns, what happend?, people did it over and over, till when the game was released, me and some other people didn't found the same fun when we got it, because we play the demo so much that we got tired of it too soon; so I agree with Petro on making the demo short, to keep the excitement alive.
  12. Oh man, the demo is awesom. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay ronks, the units, the heros, hell, every single detail was done very nice. Its short, but it leaves you wanting more and more. I can't wait for Feb 16. This is going to be the best Star Wars game ever, since Kotor 1.
  13. Easy some of us have paid for accounts so we never have to wait or get slow speeds, we dont leech for free Your parents actually gave you there credit card for that? Just to download a demo and pay money each month? Nah i used my wifes for the last 4 years Now this is what I called smart. lol
  14. That sucks, I hate to use the rebels. Althought I will still play the demo.lol
  15. Can you choose between the empire or the rebels on the demo?, I heard you could only use the rebels.
  16. At what time we are going to be able to download the demo?
  17. Can't wait for this demo.

    Demo

Whats the eta on the demo?
  19. I dunno, the collectors doesn't sound too interesting. Age of empires III has the best collectors edition I have ever seen on a game.
  20. Age of empire III collectors edition was alot better.
  21. Dont be so hard on him, lol. Is a challenge to play with him, with greater power comes risks. Althought you can always station him, he decrease the costs of research on which he is stationed.
  22. This power would be all well in good, if he could die from it....LIKE IN THE MOVIE! "Evacuate, in our moment of triumph?!" *Tarkin's entire fleet gets detroyed* *gets new fleet* Tarkin: "Well not retreating seemed to work last time...." *entire new fleet gets destroyed* Tarkin is a character that if you know how to use him, your fleet will be powerfull. In my case I will use when my fleet is strong enough to destroy any opponent.
  23. Cool info. If only Thrawn was in the game. Imagine what he could do.
  24. There are alot of heroes missing, starting with Thrawn.
  25. Remember that they put only 43 so they can add more with an expansion.
