  1. How soon after release do you think we will get these in game? They are probably the easiest ships to put in. The Tector Star Destoryer you would just need to erase the hanger, disable the tie spawner, buff up its armor and some of its stats. The wingless might take a little bit longer, but with two other mon cals in the game it seems like it would be just a little elongation here, add something small here. Stuff that bryant has shown he could do with petro's new ships.
  2. I disagree, the broadside is probably ugliest, it is by far the most out of place one.
  3. Do you mean trilogy games? Well SWG and Battlefronts (I and II) are the most recent games that have major original trilogy components and they included the prequel music in the OT situations.
  4. That is slightly dissapointing, no star wars game should be without Duel of the Fates and Battle of the Heroes, prequel game or not. They will immerse you into star wars no matter what era you are in.
  5. Not if the DS II is complete. There would be no exhaust vents. I still say creating a death star infiltrator group would be the best idea. You send your fleet in as a distraction. Then you would be able to send them into the death star. They have a random chance of destorying the generator.
  6. I guess there are some good reasons why it isn't in.....
  7. Well hope they had enough time to fix the major issues we had with the demo. The rest let's hope they are working on so we can have a quick patch.
  8. Yea guess so, I really wish there was a Rebellion 2 made that was top of the line. It sucked that it bombed initially because it was outdated before it was even released, now LEC probably wont touch it. I hoped the reaction they got from EAW about Rebellion 2 may sway them a little bit, and perhaps tweak EAW a bit more.
  9. Exactly, and Rebellion managed to include a lot of these immersion elements we are talking about and then some (worrying about if you have enough mines and refineries and boring stuff, glad they axed that for the most part) and it was realtime. You still had time to rename your ships, send out spies, use diplomacy and build fleets and attack planets.
  10. It would take hours to complete that, the average play isn't going to want to play that straight through, you are going to have to pause and meet up later at some point in it.
  11. You don't plan on stopping at any point for a full galactic conquest online?
  12. A game also needs content and depth to keep you coming back for more, that gives you a slightly different play experience each time you load it up. I'm not sure this has it, it seems what you see is what you get. Sure it will be fun to play the first time through, probably entertaining the second, third...getting a little bored....you get the picture. Even playing it online may get stale, I don't think human AI can add that much too it. I don't know tho, strategies games never did it for me for online play, I liked FPS much more. Strategies games I alsways like to sit down for a couple hours at a time and just conquer, take a break maybe think some strategies through, maybe pick it up later that day or the next day. Just not as fun when you have to wait for the other person to play. Again, got to love the mods!
  13. Eh, I will probably play multiplayer somewhat, but I will more than likely be playing singleplayer most the time, similar to rebellion. If I was doing it in singleplayer, I wouldn't do it in combat, I would do it in galactic mode, when I am managing everything else. And if I want to name all my ships at once I would just pause the game. Multiplayer it probably would be as big of a deal, but I would atleast want to name my flagships and that wouldn't take to long to do when I am managing everything else.
  14. Yup I agree, I get with where they are coming from with getting rid of some tedious features like resource collecting, that was kind of boring, but at the same time they gutted everything that made the game personalized. -No ship naming -No diplomacy -No experience -No Create a hero -No personalized base building I wish they understood complicated doesn't always mean not fun. A lot of times it adds to a game. Now I can understand for multiplayer too much stuff could slow down the game and make it not fun, but I hope in an expansion they spend more time on single player conquest and add a lot of deeper content, make it a game we can play for months. anyway atleast we have modding.
  15. But will I be able to name all the ships I want in game, like will two star destoryers be able to have two different names?
  16. I just don't like the fact that they told us it was in. I told a bunch of people it was in when they asked. Now they told us its not it, making me look bad.
  17. The v-wing was modeled after the a-wing so it would be more like Delta7-->v-wing--->a-wing
  18. I thought it was originally not in, the demand was so much, so they put it in....soooo now they lied to us again? how could they not put this is in? It seems like something everyone wants in, when looking on feedbacks of other forums a lot of people ask "so how can I rename ships?". It can't be that hard to put it. It allows for personalization of the game which I think is really lacking in this game. Just seems like a big big mistake and if its not in I hope it is in the first patch.
  19. I was refering to things Delphi has "confirmed" in an expansion, not what we want in lol
  20. Yes we know, but if you read the code it says carrack was in, but they took it it out, not that it is in.
  21. If Lucas did make another trilogy it wouldnt be the same thing, possbily better....or possibly worse. Either way it wouldn't be the same thing. As for the expansion, Delphi has also hinted the tie interceptor will be in it, further making it look like a hoth or ROTJ expansion.
  22. Hmmm wouldn't the lancer be a better upgrade to the tartan then the carrack?
  23. How so? You can't expand the game backwords. It would be impossible to play on the CIS from the prequels to ANH since they die off half way through. If they expanded the timeline on to say ROTJ or a little after, it would be much eaiser to expand on to the ANH timeline since that is the path the story takes anyway. That is why I think Delphi says "Now how does that play within the EAW time-line?", because a clone wars expansion would not fit in this timeline. It would be more likely be it own game called Republic at War, not an exapnsion on. It would be like having medival total war and rome total war be the same game, they just aren't the same era.
  24. Delphi has hinted that mustafar would be in an expansion, but the expansion woud not be clone wars era since that really wouldn't be an expansion on to the game, but a whole different game entirely.
