I just did not want to make this public because the ending of it is unsure. But I wanted to let you know: These screens: http://swempireatwar.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1835 are very new, so from a very late state of the game and as far as they know these are "pop-cap 20" space-battles. This is what Activision Germany could tell me so far (but they try to find this out for sure). They are trying to get those screens in a better quality for us but they can't promise anything because at first they have to talk to Lucas Arts because they gave those screens to EBGames. Maybe we have them in a few days, maybe never. Just hope the best. I'll keep you up-to-date.

Refering to this: I already had some "bad blood" with eaw.net and... yes. Nothing more to say. I'll wait and see.

The problems are not the trees but how to fight in a jungle with tanks and AT-ATs... AT-STs maybe. But even those would have problems when "off the track". This does only mean that the Devs could not use more type of trees to make the map better but in a more genral term. The problem is not the tpye of trees but their numbers in the map. More trees -> less free space -> nowhere to go for your units...

I think that clearly points out that there will be several planets in the demo. Tatooine, Vergesso Asteroids ... already two. Okay, Vergesso does not seem to have a ground map but who knows for sure? I suggest three to five planets in the demo. But thats just a guess.

Perhaps there are scripts/plugins for phpBB which do this job.

These are the people I am very sure of. I simply don't know the rest or could not identify them. If anybody has an idea or knows about them, drop a line and I will add them. And I will create a better version of this image once we know all, or at least most of them image

The picture of Luke was inserted by the magazine designer (and so is Obi-Wan). This is not official. So it's just there for "good-looking" and not because it shows content of the game. (We all know this image of Luke from several games box shots. "The Empire Strikes Back" for the SNES for example)

Mh. In the original trilogy we also have no proof that all these stormtroopers and scouts we see are male. In all the three movies we hear about... 5? of them speaking. So there is neither a proof that there were or weren't female Stormtroopers. /imho

I think that is restriced to capital ships. But who knows for sure, except the devs?

I don't remeber a source which told that women were not accepted within imperial military ranks. Of course it was hard for women but as we see them appearing again and again I don't think that the Empire is strictly anti-feministic.

I like the idea and I don't like it somehow. Hard to explain I votet for only small and medium sized ships.

As mentioned it might be a bit older. I tried to find him in the photo on the Petro HP and I think he migt be the one in the last row, the fifth person beginning from the right side (the one hiding ). But, I'm not sure. Perhaps Delphi can help us by posting a newer photo.

What's wrong with the german voices? Of course they are not the original ones but I think they fit very well.

So... I have read over it and compared it to the original and I have to say: There are some wrong vocabulars used and some sentences could be translated in a better way but I decited to leave it this way. The main aspects are correct and (as I think) completely understandable. But if there are questions you are still free to ask. It would be just a lot of work which has been already done. It could be done a bit better but I think in the end the work wouldn't simply be "worth" it.

I think they will within the next days. But: In the press release they said that the Collectors Edition will only be available in north America and Germany. I don't know if this is true vut I don't think so because it doesn't make sense and it would not be the first wrong info in the german press.

I think they are still in because they are the counterweapon for AT-ATs.

At the Games Convention the Activision Manager me and Junker talked to said that he played a game versus a colleague which took round about three hours. So, if you want it to be a long game and the players are on an equal level I think this might be possible
