Well I dunno...I've seen nice graphics and some promasing ideas in it, but so did BFME and I'm worried that EaW won't have all that much strategic depth. Bu tmaybe thats just me.

Well, it was only two campaign missions anyway. And Darkmark is right. In 10 years AOE3 will be the new AOE2. Or.......not......

It feels a lot like AOE to me. Different a bit, yes, but then it's been 7 years since they made AOE2, of course it's gonna be at least a bit different.

I can't see why people are jumping around getting their knickers in a twist over the theme, ithe colonization of America was important back then.

Lol, I think those are bugs Darkmark. I once upgraded to a train and then I saw it pass through a stage wagon that had just stopped there when I upgraded. The missions did feel like they left a bit to be desired, but it was worth seein ga horde of railroad workers tearing down a mexican villiage The fact that they want you to have high specs for this game may be it's weakness. Still, I suppose a lot of people will have better machines by now, so no worries. Funnily enough, one thing I think they should work on is that upgrade that gives you a Matal for every minute the game has gone by. I ended up with a whole horde of them.

Right now my heart is with the brit faction, until the full game comes out. This is because they can get so many villagers so fast (be it by shipment or their special bonus of getting a free villiager for every house) so their economy seems to go pretty fast.

And your reasons why?

I generally just dislike Blizzard's style of RTS. For one thing WC3 felt too small an rts, I've played other games with similar numbers that felt a good deal more epic. Also I dislike their approach to combat micro-management. Altough I appreciate micro, WC3 just seemed to make it more of a chore than fun to me.

I'm getting perticularly groovy with the Home City. Let's face it, a custom secondary tech tree for each faction, to be modified by you. Of course I just went straight for the big guns. So far the problem I've had with the AOE series was that they seemed dull at the start, and rather boring I'm afraid. but since stuff seems to get done more quickly now, and here's more action for those early-game units fighting off treasure guardians and explorers, it's a lot of fun. Also when the units wip out their guns and start a-shootin it gets really fun. I should see how you contact ES, since I've already found a few bugs I think should be worked out. Also, what happened to the formations system?

Battle for middle earth? Yeah, I own it. But not since my disks for it...er...parted company.

Anyone else seen this? Very funny, I reccomend it. The plot is of course not too hard to work out-Andy is 40, still a virgin, wants to lose it. It's quite vulgar at times, but it's also very smart in many places and laugh-out-loud But funnily enough, if your the same age as the protagonist, you'll have less chance of enjoying it Also probably the best and most unexpected twist ending I've ever seen.
