If you have RebEd you can load any of the other ship cards into the Death Star's slot, and it should give you the option of letting said ship destroy planets. Of course if you don't have the ship model loaded with the exchanger mod, in battles the ship will still be the Death Star.

I read through Omen fairly quickly as well, though it wasn't as fast paced or exciting as Outcast, it did have some very good moments. I think the e-book, which I've downloaded but have yet to read, Lost Tribe of the Sith: Precipice deals more with how the tribe came to be where they are in Omen. I have to say I am very happy with the way things are going in this series so far, I don't want to give anything away, but I wasn't too thrilled with the way the Legacy of the Force series was killing off characters left and right. Don't get me wrong it was exciting story telling and you didn't always know what was going to happen next, but it was a little upsetting losing some of those characters...But there are always prequel novels, like Tatooine Ghost, it was cool to have Chewie back, even though he didn't do much in that book, it was still nice to know that he was there.

I've bought the first three, the author has done a good job of capturing the likeness' of Han, Luke & Leia. The story is pretty good, not as elaborate as the adult SW novels, but an interesting read. There were a bunch of times when I had problems with the way things were worded or the way some of the main characters were portrayed, but for the most part I've enjoyed the series so far. By the way, the Last of the Jedi series was pretty good too.

I would like it to be possible to add "on planet" pictures to the encyclopedia, looking at the original Rebellion planet pics was somewhat boring because it just showed the planets themselves in space. I've got a pretty good collection of pics depicting planetary views that I could share. I think it would give the game alot more detail then the original had.

I should try that as well. It would be great to see the cutscenes and have the music play again. That's the downside of the "crack" it takes away those two elements.

Yes it is possible. It is called the Rebellion game "crack" (i believe) I think it used to be available here on this site, but I checked the downloads section and didn't see it.

I've tried several times to upload my cards, it'd be nice to be able to share the cards i've made (and also ones i will be making) In fact i've posted some of my finished cards' pics in this thread viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3679&p=537006#p537006 Hopefully we'll be able to upload cards again soon.

I've run into a problem while editing the planet encyclopedia. I edited the text and when I start the game and view the planet encyclopedia it shows 2 squares in between the "Type" and my text...It looks like this (the asterisks represent the 2 squares) Sector: Moddell................Type: Outer-Rim* * Endor Prime is a white gas giant, it is orbited by a forest covered moon inhabited by a multitude of species, some of which are sentient. I assume that the 2 squares are where i've hit the ENTER key in order to drop to the next line...Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

I've just recently learned how to edit Rebellion with Resource Hacker and i've run into a similar problem. I've got pics that i'm sure are higher resolution, so I open them with Irfanview and transfer the DPI to 96 (i've tried 72 also) then I set the color to 256 colors. Now the pics are set to the same color level as the original pics (96 dpi, 8 bit color) but they don't work when I start up Rebellion, they are all messed up, I can see the basic structure of the pics but they are different colored pixels all over the pics. And well i'm here, just in case I can't find a thread for it...I'm also editing the encyclopedia text also, everything i've edited so far has worked. I'm up to the planet text, trying to match the text with the renamed planets. I've replaced the text for most of the planets and I start up Rebellion to check my progress and the text appears exactly how I typed it but their are 2 squares in between the "Type: Core System" and my new text. The "squares" appear to be in the spot where i've hit the "Enter Key" in order to start a new line in the text. So it appears like this...("*" represents the squares) Sector: Shelsha----------------Type: Mid-Rim System* * Shelkonwa is the capital world of the Shelsha sector, which is overseen by Imperial Governor Barshnis Choard. Can anyone help me out?

This really sucks, the same thing happened to me with different game (and it wasn't even mine ) The best is probably to buy a new drive as well. Hmm, shouldn't LA send you a replacement disc or something like that? I contacted LucasArts when I lost the first disc to the CD-ROM, but they told me that they weren't liable. Well XGMX do you feel like you want to buy Rebellion and try it out, or have we scared you away with our stories.
