It's been awhile since this post first began but i'll throw in my two cents. I've been collecting SW pics from the internet for awhile now, and have quite the collection. I've turned out several character cards which I haven't been able to upload onto the site (maybe this will be fixed soon) I have lots of pics from the Tales of the Jedi/KOTOR era, or as I like to refer to it, the Sith era. I would be more than happy to work on some of these pics and produce some character cards for a KOTOR TC. Or even upload the cards to the site (when it's fixed)

I bought the game when it came out and tried to play it. I couldn't figure it out, got frustrated, and gave up on playing it. Of course I complained alot about it and kept saying that I shouldn't have bought it. My older brother asked if he could try it out and I told him he could. A couple days later I found my brother playing it, so I sat down for awhile and watched. He explained what he was doing, how he was doing it and why he was doing it, he told me that I should try playing the game again because it was actually pretty cool. A year or so went by and I was looking through my computer games and I found Rebellion, I finally took my brother's advice and tried again. At first I got a little frustrated but I kept at it and with a lot of patience and quite a bit of help from the manuel I figured the game out. I played it almost every day for a year, in fact I played it so much that the disc delveloped a small crack from the CD-ROM drive (I always had the music turned on which caused the disc to spin faster and get hotter) I grew a little tired of it and didn't touch it for almost a year. I got into it again, and with my playing it, my brother playing it (again) and a friend playing it, little by little the small crack turned into a LARGE crack. One day while I was playing, the game quit abruptly when a micro-explosion erupted from my CD-ROM drive (the large crack had turned into a broken disc and several shards) a month or two later I re-bought Rebellion from LucasArts' online store, and I was immediatly sucked back into it. In fact I got so much back into it that a couple months later I lost the new disc to the CD-ROM drive. I was nearly furious, I coudn't believe that I had to buy another copy of Rebellion. But I did (of course) and this time I wasn't taking any chances, I had learned about game cracks from my older brother and was determined to find one for Rebellion. After a little searching online I came across AdrenalineVault.com, they had a crack and as soon as I had a new copy of Rebellion I put the crack to use, in fact searching for the game crack is what brought my attention to SWRebellion.com. I have been playing Rebellion almost every day since I bought the third copy, and all the great add-ons (cards, mods, tcs and tutorials) found on SWRebellion.com have furthered my enjoyment of one of the coolest (if not the coolest) Star Wars games ever made. But I will tell you that Rebellion isn't for everyone, in fact most Star Wars gamers avoid it like the plague, maybe they shared my first experience with it and just gave up.

Being able to add more characters would be great, and the idea of a second RebEd is intriguing. Could it be made to edit encylopedia pics and text as well? and how about the event pics and text? (other than the main ones you can edit with rebed)

I've also tried to upload cards, I get the same message "Cannot Get File Done" I'm new to making cards but i've searched long and hard for pics and i've got quite the collection. I'd like to share them when i'm done too, so hopefully the problem will be fixed soon. Anyways here my first batch of cards. I re-installed Reloaded a couple days ago and guess what? IT WORKED! I found out that when i first installed it i didn't place the BETA folder within the Rebellion folder.

I downloaded RR on july 5th and installed it on the 6th, everything loaded fine and i started a game as the rebels... The first thing i noticed was that Coruscant was farther "east" than Yavin IV, i'm pretty sure that Coruscant is closer to the core than Yavin IV. So i just went into RebEd and switched their positions, no big deal there. As i continued playing i noticed that there were none of the new icons, voices, etc,. not only that, but when the first space battle happened i was surprised to see that the ships that had new graphics, showed up as the original ships (they didn't match the new pictures of them) it pretty much seemed to me that the only thing new were some of the characters, defenses, troops and special forces... Considering the fact that i could do all that with RebEd (even load ships without the space battle graphics showing up, i haven't figured out the graphics yet, but it would be great to play a game with different ships) i uninstalled the game and haven't played it since... I know what you're thinking, that i didn't install it right. But i have Resource Hacker, Rebellion Editor and i followed the directions precisely (i even had the instruction screen open and did each thing one at a time) and i installed the patch or video (whatever it's called that goes in the registry) However i would like to give Reloaded another try, but the experience would be much better if everything worked...

The first and only time i lost was the first time i played too. Although i have had alot of tough games.

With RebEd i've reshaped the galaxy (in fact you wouldn't find many similarities between my galaxy and the original) i've also renamed a lot of planets, and i have three dual sectors. 1; the Remnant Sector with Bastion, Yaga Minor and Mygeeto. 2; the Hutt Sector with Nal Hutta, Nar Shaada (i had to name it Shaada due to limited word space) Malastare, Varl (the original Hutt home world) Gamorr and Hurcha. 3; the Corporate Sector with Mytus VII, Mustafar, Roon, Duroon and Bonadan. I also have the Hapes sector and what i call the Chiss sector which includes not only the Chiss Worlds Csilla and Nirauan, but also the Killik planets featured in the Dark Nest trilogy. There's the Ithorian Sector with Ithor, New Alderaan, Belkadan and Helska (both featured in the New Jedi Order series) There's also the Teta Sector which has Mandalore, Roche, Haruun Kal And Ossus. The Yavin Sector with Yavin IV, Kashyyyk, Jomark, Ilum, Dathomir, Mykyr and Wayland. The Eriadu Sector with Eriadu, Delaya, Borleias, Carida, Raithal, Kuat and Ziost. The Capitol Sector with Coruscant, Talasea, Corulag, Rendili and Brentaal. The Corellian Sector with Corellia, Sacorria, Garqi, Talus and Tralus (next to each other) The Abrego Sector with Abregado Rae, Byss, Aargau and Boonta. The Taanab Sector with Taanab, Iridonia, Kessel and Thyferra. The Naboo Sector with Naboo, Kamino, Bothawui, Kothlis, Rodia and Felucia. The Anoat Sector with Anoat, Bespin, Hoth, Gall and Bestine. And the Bakura Sector with Bakura, Endor, Vjun, Sullust and Sulon. There are also many other planets, but i think i've mentioned too many already. With the limited amount of space and the few sectors there are in the game i had to put planets together in sectors that are actually nowhere near each other but it was only because i like the planets and didn't want to exclude any of them.(although i did leave some rather famous ones out like Raltiir, Adumar and Korriban as well as others. I've done very little in regards to the ships, characters, defenses, troops and special forces. With the changing of the galaxy done i proceeded to add characters, troops...etc,. I've added cards i downloaded from swrebellion.com to five different "games" i've made, i call them. 1; Jedi vs Sith. 2; Rise Of The Empire.(episodes I-III) 3; The Galactic Civil War.(episodes IV-VI) 4; The New Republic. 5; The New Jedi Order. All of which have characters, troops, special forces and defenses, According to they're own periods. I have to admit, it would be cool to add the ships and fighters as well but when i add the files with RebEd they don't show up as themselves in space battles they are instead represented by the ships and fighters from the original game.(maybe i didn't install them properly?) Also, i've tried to save them as Total Conversions with RebEd but after i do the editor can't find the files to re-load them.(luckily after i made each one i placed them on my jumpdrive) Maybe someone can tell me how to retrieve the RebEd save files, it'd be great to have people play them and tell me what they think.

Well it appears that i have the Imperial Rank Insignia already. What does it mean? is it how long i've been a member of the site? I've got the raphael avatar but how do i upload a different pic?

I've noticed that almost everyone on the site has the Imperial Rank Insignia for their avatars, they've also got pictures underneath the avatars. How do i get the rank insignia? and how do i upload a picture?

I'd just like to say that i've been playing Rebellion for almost as long as it's been out, and i play it almost every day. The new cards are great (most of them) i'm working on putting together 5 different games. A Sith vs. Jedi, with anything prior to the Prequels. A Prequel game, an Original Trilogy game (with only characters and ships etc. from the OT in it) a New Republic game and a New Jedi Order game (with the yuuzhan vong cards i downloaded from the site in it) although i think it will take me a while to get them done because i'm not quite used to Rebellion Editor yet. I've also reshaped the galaxy (i don't think it's 100% accurate though, maybe 70%) moving Coruscant to the "north-east" of the galaxy's core, i've renamed planets, i've got Mandalore, Saleucami, Mustafar, Zonama Sekot, Woteba (from the dark nest trilogy, as well as five other killik planets) Csilla, Kamino, Bogden, Polneye (in the koornacht cluster from the black fleet crisis trilogy) Anoth, Thyferra, Ziost, Corbos and Korriban just to name a few. I'm looking forward to the release of Rebellion Reloaded, i think it'll be worth the wait. But will we be able to use Rebellion Editor on it? not that i'd want to edit it right away, but maybe after a few months of playing it i may. So a few questions/suggestions about Reloaded. 1. Mole-Miners. (used by thrawn to capture new republic ships) Are there any? (it'd be great to be able to steal a SSD from the empire or maybe a bulwark battlecruiser from the rebels, maybe the mole-miners could be a special unit to be sent on ship theft missions) 2. Changes to the Jedi training missions. (green lightsabers for good red lightsabers for bad, also for the empire the mission should be called Dark Jedi Training Mission) 3. Thraken Sal-Solo. 4. Dorsk 82. 5. Jagged Fel. 6. Centerpoint Station. 7. Loyalty Change Mission. (send an agent or a team to convince an enemy character to switch sides) 8. Galaxy Gun. (used by the clone emperor to destroy "rebel" targets) 9. Defender Trooper Regiment. (based on the mcquarrie drawing) 10. Create Natural Disaster Mission. (it seems ironic to me that some natural disasters accur soon after the enemy has had a successful sabotage mission) I know it's a little late for suggestions but seeing as how Reloaded will be delivered to us in july, i thought i'd put my two cents in. Thank You! to everyone involved in revamping one of my favorite games. And i look foward to playing it on july 4th...Or 5th.
