I've bought and read Death Troopers, It's one of the best books in the EU. Joe Schreiber is a great writer. There are a lot of OT elements in it, great characters, awesome setting (it's set aboard an imperial star destroyer) and there's a nice surprise in there to, won't say what it is, but it involves two characters who are well known to just about any Star Wars fan. I was concerned about the "Zombie" aspect of Death Troopers when I first heard it was coming out, but it was done in such a way, that I had no choice but to except zombies being in the GFFA; and gladly except them I did. I have to say that I was blown away by the book, it was some of the most exciting EU material I've read in a long time, next to the Fate of the Jedi series, which although has had some premises that are just ridiculous, has so far been a very worthy Star Wars series. All-in-all Death Troopers was a great book and a fun read. I can't wait to get my hands on Red Harvest.

If you have Galactic Battlegrounds, you can go into the game files and copy the sound clips directly from their folder. I've done this already for my Clone Wars conversion, although I've yet to add them to it. I don't know if the same goes for Republic Heroes or not. And as far as the TV series goes, I wouldn't begin to know how to get sound files from that. I know that there are some websites that have sound clips from various Star Wars titles (i can't think of any off the top of my head) you could try those. I always thought that websites like Yahoo, MSN & Google should have a "Audio" selection in their search engines. I mean they've got "Video" & "Images", why not "Audio" right?... Oh well.

A good friend of mine and his wife just started Geocaching. My brother and his wife have gone with them a couple times. I have yet to go, but it sounds like it's a lot of fun.

I'm not much of an artist myself, digital or otherwise, but there are a lot of Star Wars pics out there that can be utilized. I've got a fair sized collection of pics that I'm planning on using for Rebellion TCs (I'm nearly done with a Clone Wars one) if that's a route you'd like to go, I'd be more than happy to send you pics I've collected or continue scouring the internet for appropriate pics.

I didn't like the fact, that in Rebellion, early in the game before personnel were placed on research missions, things were being researched. I would be for the player being able to choose what/when things were researched. I love the idea of population and credits. The special forces not being available isn't a big deal to me, because personnel in Rebellion -if you've kept it the same for Reb2- were able to perform all of the missions special forces could perform, with the exception of reconnaissance, which can be performed by ships. Of course there's the chance you'd engage in a battle, but if you gave personnel the ability to perform reconnaissance missions the player could avoid space battles if he/she weren't prepared. I don't know how far along you are with the encyclopedia pics and what not, or even if you've kept it the same. But if it's the same I'd love to be able to have each planet have it's own pic, i.e. pics showing the suface of the individual worlds. The enclyclopedia in Rebellion was pretty bland in that it just showed orbital pics of planets, and that was limited to the amount of "different" planets that were in the game. By the way it's good to know you're still working on Reb2, I'm pretty excited about trying it out.
