  1. RIP Takamoto! Maybe he and Joseph Barbera, who just died last year, will create new cartoons in heaven.
  2. Hello, have you tried to reinstall Rebellion?
  3. Hm, St. Louis isn´t that far away from my hometown. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/konfus/n010.gif
  4. Yeah, and I guess you are quite lucky that I didn´t wrote "it´s the swiss way of having phone-sex".
  5. He may choose between this or that.
  6. You may drink a little too much? I mean sleeping in the field in the winter. This is what austrians have instead of phone-sex
  7. So, another GW-fanatic, Jahled!? But I cant see where´s the explanaition for your name. BTW: My nick in Battlefield 1942 is Eagle One, but most people just call me Eagle or E1, so I also use it in some forums.
  8. And we know why. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/DSC01714.jpg These japanese! And this vid is a bit too long.
  9. Just look who´s the owner of the tv-/radio-station and to whom he is related. Whether a partie or a person and you understand why and how they report about something. So I´m your nominee?
  10. @Tex I know that lots of things are tolerated in the US, like Nazi-Symbols aso. We feel very uncomfortable about that here in germany. And one thing I also want to mention is that Verdex and me asked Darth_Officer to do that. He was so kind and wise and changed his name and his avatar. If he didn´t wanted to do that we also had to cope with it. We´ve never said that he has to do it! Because that would belong to the owner of this site, the admins and the mods. So and now please back to topic!
  11. Well, Def, don´t forget that it was made in the early 70s, about ´73/´74 I guess. I´ve found the official site of Star Blazers where you can watch a hole bunch of online-comics and which has lots of links where you can find more stuff like video-clips and much more. I guess we shall stay on topic yet. Maybe we can make a new thread about that.
  12. I see that this whole topic is going into a hard discussion so I don´t want to make it worse. Just want to mention that you shall think about it if somebody here in the forum would call himself for example Ossama Bin Laden with an avatar of Bin Ladens picture. Could you tolerate that too? I guess not! What belongs to Doenitz, he wasn´t a Nazi. He was the comander in chief of the german navy, allthough he forced Hitlers Power with his ruthless naval strategies.
  13. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/froehlich/r015.gif OMG that was so cool!
  14. Lol! Respect! I can´t do that!
  15. Had to do some work on my computer, so I´d decided to watch "The Phantom Menace" in the meanwhile again. First haven´t thought of Tex´ Christmass Avatar and Jahled´s animated Gif, so when Darth Maul than appeared on the screen there was allways that big grinning on my face and I allways had the feeling that something on Maul was missing in the movie. Even the hangar-scene has lost it´s dramatic. After this christmass watching "The Phantom Menace" won´t be ever the same again as before.
  16. I have no idea SOCL. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/konfus/a015.gif Japanese anime series weren´t much shown in the german television of the 70s. There was just Star Blazers and Captain Future. And I saw Star Blazers on the italian swiss television, not in the german language of course. But it was nevertheless cool to watch.
  17. There are eye-wittnesses, who lived in Penemuende, who told about a huge flashlight over the Northern Sea. Experts say that this kind of flashlight must have been from a nuclear test. That was about the time after the invasion of the Normandie as allied troops hadn´t reached the Rhine yet. You may remember that lots of german engeneers, who took a lot of secret documents with them, later were involved in the Manhattan Project. Please do not compare Saddam with such a Dictator like Adolf Hitler. Saddam was nothing compared to him! (Yes, I´am disclaiming again Def ) According to the former head of the UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission, Hans Blix, more than 90 % of the iraqi arsenal of weapons of mass-destruction have just been destroyed at 1991. What you are talking about happened in the 80s. I heard about that they´d found some small grenades with mustard gas in it. But if you call that weapons of mass destruction every common bomb would be one. Of course, it just needs one single nuclear bomb to vanish Israel from the landscape. That´s why they keep an eye on Iran. But if even just one A-bomb was smuggled out of Iraq into another country before the invasion began our secret services would have been aware of that now. Because they wouldn´t earn that much money than they just do now and they know that we all still need our car to drive to our jobs.
  18. Ok, it works now if I use the Iexplorer.
  19. I´m sorry for that. As a german I don´t know all words in english. We here in german call it ABC-Weapons (Atomic-, Biological-, Chemical-weapons). It´s just a helpless trial. You need much more troops for that. Because you have to fight all these warlords, like El Sadr, first or the Iraq will never become a democracy like one of the western hemisphere, if this is really wished. Ur so right! Link doesn´t work. The site is loading and loading and loading and loading and loading...
  20. I don´t see your point! The invasion of the Normandie had a quite different reason as the invasion of Iraq! The 3rd Reich was a much much bigger Threat to any free country in the world! Especially because they were close to invent the A-Bomb!!! Which would have been fatal for Great Brittain and Russia and maybe a couple of years later for North America! On the other side, there was no real threat going out from the Iraq! Do you remember? They told us that he´s (Saddam) got ABC-Weapons, which never have been found throughout the years! Therefor people still see no reason about fighting in Iraq, that´s why they complain about all these useless losses of human lifes! And 3000 dead soldiers are still 3000 too much!
  21. I would do the same of course. If anyone wishes to get one of my (totally finished) yet not uploaded cards, just send me a pm with your email-adress and you will get ´em.
  22. These anime-characters just look all the same! "Star Blazers" is an anime series of the early 70s. George Lucas stole a lot of it, not just a part of the main title (Star Blazers/Star Wars). There are huge carriers, which also look like fleets of WWII, like the Star Destroyers, and there´s even a R2-like Droid. The name of the enemy is the "Galactic Empire" and there are antigrav-vehicles like Luke´s old Speeder. You can watch it here if you like to.
  23. Its totally empty. I am going to organise a night with some mates to finish of whats left. OMG! I guess some of you mates were going to do this: http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/ekelig/e030.gif
  24. I agree with both nominations!
  25. I know, but some of you (eg. SOCL ) seem to don´t know how it exactly works. The chatroom is also for free and easy to use at every time. Another thing we could do is use a Teamspeak-Server where we just have to log in without trying to build a group-chat or something else. I don´t want to write down my skype nick here. But if someone with a name which has the "Eagle" in it want´s to add you, don´t worry, that´s just me. @SOCL Wait! Isn´t your new avatar from the old japanese "Star Blazers"-catoon? I loved these when I was a child.
