I guess it was because bf2142 has walkers in it. That made things like atat/atst-animations way easier for them.

I was a bit disappointed. It rather looked like a "Resident Evil"-Movie. I´ve allways disliked zombies who used weaponry and tools. But it was quite funny.

If you loved settlers 2, you´ll also love this. It also has an editor. First Strike a Star Wars-Mod for BF2142 has been finally released.

Though I also prefer the characters of the original trilogie, instead of some of these unknown guys to me, who were just mentioned elsewhere in a book, it would be awesome to have the newly textured ships in the original Rebellion. Thumbs up for that!

In the original game they made bubbles of chewing-gum, read papers aso.

It looks really nice and it has also a nice concept, but in my case it would be enough if they would release a nice bunch of new maps for the remake. I know that there are a lot of people who feel the same, so I don´t understand why a company allways tries to do something new, allthough they´ve allready have a perfect game.

It´s shown this evening on TV, yeah! But on the same time there´s also "Land of the Dead" on another channel. A hard decision.

Since there are about 20 years between Episode III and the first Star Wars Movie, let´s fill that vacuum together. I know that there are novells and comics out there, but who cares ( well at least not me ). So let´s do our own thing. So after the great Jedi-Purge the Emperor is building up his new founded empire by oppressing its citizens and invading systems which refuse to accept the new order. They are stationed everywhere, aboard ships and also on garrisons of every planet belonging to the empire. Cruisers are now called Star Destroyers and are equipped with the first Tie-Fighters, which are the most advanced fighters in the history so far. Also the new Victory-Class Star Destroyers begin their duty in the new founded Imperial Navy. One of these is commanded by Darth Vader, who is still hunting the last few Jedis, who escaped the great Jedi-Purge.

I´m still in love with "Settlers - The Remake" and not that enthusiastic about the new features. You can call me Settlers-Taliban if you like than.

I´m not sure, though I haven´t read Def´s posted links, but I guess he was rather refering to some CIS-States, which are still sovietlike dictatorships, like fe. Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Usbekistan. Some of them may be allied to us, but nevertheless they´ve no real democracy.

I see. So this guy was provocating that situation. But there were at least two or three cops, who could have handled that situation well without tasing him. Not to mention Kerry´s bodyguards. At least that´s what german cops would do, who don´t have any tasers in their arsenal up till now and I hope they´ll never do. This guy would have been handcuffed and taken outside very quickly. I´ve got the feeling that the fact that they´ve got tasers in their arsenal forces the cops to use them quite too often to ease their work. Nice vid and song of that incident

The russian leadership´s acting allways depends on if there are some upcoming elections. Like Jelzin did a couple of times (remember the war against Serbia at 1999), Putin is showing some muscles to be elected as chancelor or whatever. It looks like that you can do any crap in Russia for which you will be hated by the people, but if you tickle other states the russians will love their president. That´s poor in my eyes.

No, not exactly. It´s from a kind of side-project simply called "Inquisitor", which wasn´t very successfull. But these ones are from W40K. @Kryt So it´s from a Bjooooeeeerk-vid. I don´t know if I can take to watch it than.

You are absolute right, Mad! The russian leadership feels the weakness of the US, which has failed in Afghanistan and Iraq, and want to point out that they are still a power on which you can count with or maybe even want to fill out that vacuum. Nearly surrounded by NATO-States, it´s just that easy to tell your people that we still are their enemies. This situation gives me bad memories, not just of one of our prefered movies, but also of the german history of the 1920ths and -30ths. If he will stay in power, democracie in russia has absolute failed and it´ll also no good sign for the so called "free World".

It´s this one. You can play all maps of every size in the singleplayer-mode with that. There are also 14 other singleplayer-mods available as download. But if I want to have nice tactic action with a nice community I still prefer the good old BF1942. Talking about bf1942 and bf2: This Mod could be really nice. Also the "Operation Peacekeeper"-Mod has been released on sunday.
