  1. Welcome back, Emperor Elvis!
  2. I´ve voted for two, allthough I also had french in school, but because of too much lazieness I´m still unable to speak a whole sentence. Even before I had it in school (from the 5th grade on. Nowadays it´s from the 4th) I was attracted to the english language. Mainly because of music and stuff. One day my sisters girlfriend brought a guy, named Kelly from San Francisco, at about my age to our house and I was able to talk with him with hands and feet, though I just knew some keywords like fe "follow me" aso.
  3. No, it´s really just a text-file, which is updated from time to time.
  4. So than, hello to you both!
  5. Picard in serious trouble
  6. Happy Birthday, Aenivae_Ikeda! http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/nahrung/n015.gif All the best and enjoy your day! May the force be with you so you can return from the forum-lurkers. For all the newer dudes around here, feel free to also post you date of birth in here.
  7. Wooden Keyboard
  8. The whole I-Net in one picture @Krytos Very good work, man. I like the second pic very much.
  9. Ohh, I love these crappy Trash-Movies. Today the original "Day of the Dead" is shown on television. I guess you also get Arte, Mad, don´t you? If yes, than have fun. But I would prefer to see "Dawn of the Dead" again, though it´s much much better than "Day".

Indeed! I would say that it´s timeless. Starship Troopers was written in the 50s and Dune was written in the 60s btw.
  11. Welcome to the forums, Peregrinus!
  12. Happy birthday, Mrs Fisher! Still the best monarch in the whole galaxy! Funny to see how a republican can write Carrie without shuddering.

And I have to read Starship Troopers finally. But at first "Dune" will take some time again.
  14. Oh yes, I can remember that movie. The only thing we thought was funny was the back of the alien´s head, which looks like a butt.
  15. Arrgh! All that nationalism! If every country wants to be better than the other, who´s worse than?! Every country seems to have their own nationalistic party. Paradox when some german nazis support arabian groups, just for the sake that it´s against the US. But otherwise if an arab wanders through a city somewhere in eastern germany, they have to be aware of to get at least hurt if not killed by some skinheads. Otherwise I also don´t understand when people support nazi-groups allthough their countries have been invaded and devastated in WWII bei the german wehrmacht, like fe Russia, Ukrainia, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark and France.
  16. Looks funny. When I´ve read the name Fido, I first thought about a dog.
  17. That´s just pure tactics, like it was back in 2000 than. They just wanted to show the turkish government "we could condemn you if we wanted to". To blame each other for being responsible that they´ve failed is also tactics to cover who was behind that whole idea. In fact they wanted it to fail and they knew that this would happen. Political games.
  18. It´s kinda "Blair With Project"-like, isn´t it.
  19. I´m absolutely aware of that, Gat. But none the less I still prefer Zombies stumbling around instead of running.
  20. All in all a good movie, but I even wouldn´t call it a remake. Because the only thing which reminded of the original was that they were in a mall. And I also wasn´t that happy with those running Zombies. That was something which didn´t worked well just in "City of the Living Dead". Zombies have to walk slowly. Doesn´t make any sense if they were even running faster than living people. They also ran in "Return of the Living Dead", but that was absolutely ok. Though the whole movie was just fun.
  21. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/konfus/p060.gif Hadn´t recognised her in the movie and I could have lived with that.
  22. There are some couple of other pics of that movie on my site. I didn´t liked "Land of the Dead" very much. Zombies who are beginning to learn thinking again. Oh, common! I even didn´t liked the original "Day of the Dead" very much, because of this and the bad acting.
  23. Jumbo-Jet lands on highway!
  24. I´ve just begun rereading Dune again. I guess it´s about the 3rd time so far. Don´t have to mention that it´s great. Than I came to that part of the story, where they discribed the origins of the Sadaukar-Warriors, the emperors personal elite-army. It´s said that there are legends that they are some kind of orphans who grow up on Selusa Secundus, a kind of hidden planet, where nobody´s allowed to fly to and where they are trained to be warriors. That´s where it started ringing in my head. So that´s where GL had his idea for the Clone-Troopers. Soldiers with no relationships at all raised and trained on a secret, hidden, planet.
