I love right-wing flaming twats in America: from far-right columnist Mark Steyn, who attacked the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre. No, that's not a misprint. He said they were "decadent" for not fighting back, and snapped, "They're not 'children.' The [victims] were grown women and - if you'll forgive the expression - men." Yay! Ann Coulter said in her number one bestseller Godless that she has "never seen women enjoying their husbands' deaths as much" as the 9/11 victims. Yay! op-rated radio host Glenn Beck recently explained, "It took me about a year to start hating the 9/11 victims' families... When I see a 9/11 victim's family on television, I'm like, 'Shut up!' I'm so sick of them - they're always complaining." He added, "I didn't think I could hate victims faster than the 9-11 victims" - until Hurricane Katrina. He called the people trapped in New Orleans "scumbags" and said "they're ruining it for everybody." Yay! Even some British spackoid Richard Littlejohn said the terrified Iranian hostage Faye Turney should "join Celebrity Fat Club". He even attacked the women who were killed in Ipswich as "disgusting drug-addled street whores" and "no great loss". Yay! Humanity at it's very, very best! Source: The ever excellent Liberal columnist Johann Hari in his recent Independent article Rushdie is not the author of his woes, being critical of the Muslim muppets condemning Rushdie's knighthood. He also wrote this making it clear who the real cause of 9/11 was. You went to war just after 1800 against this particular brand of Islam with the Barber countries I believe. Noted! Indeed a language issue matey. This side of the pond the majority of people are only to happy to describe themselves as 'liberal' in their outlook in life, I am. It doesn't have to equate to their politics to much these days, which I guess is why Europe laughs so much at the United States with it's obsessive abuse of the word. My politics is fairly much centre of the road for the record. I truly hate communists with a utter vengeance; happen to think Bush is the worse President in North American history, yet look upon Reagan's Republican Presidency as a golden-age, that won the free world the cold war, despite our Thatcher being rather clumsy with her much needed economic reforms, and also think Clinton was an utter muppet. What I ultimately don't understand is the all round flaming you guys in the States seem to thrive on within politics, because from my perception it just invokes shouting rather than rational mainstream debate.
