Jahled keeps thinking, it has been a while since he used his brain for that purpose... His mind was the result of the mind of the past, and he would now create a mind for the future. he wanted to create a mind, then create a man, he had talked to god back in Haven and knew the trick. He would dream every single detail of him. But the core of it was a mind, a mind unlike his own.... One deep thought came to him at lightspeed and abruptly he suspended his creationist act. He discovered one more truth. he wasn't the result of a mind of the past, the past was something he lived and knew he was the result of another man dreaming to create a man with a mind other than his. Jahled stood up with a stupid smile. That was why I hated thinking.

A pretty strong fleet. WIth a high detection rating, the blockade is the reason for all the strange incidents.... But I couldn't explain this... Perhpas you could send it to LucasArts and ahve them figure out why... AT least they will remember that they created a game called rebellion a long time ago....

It does not innovate the AoE engine, the only incorporation was the air units... Still Gb is better than any Gb mod out there, I enkoyed the game, more than i did with FC I got it froma friend played it didn't like it and tossed it into a dark corner of my room. It was a good and new concept, but it lacked the attractive element. Elvis is right AoE is damn good concept otherwise you wouldn't see it around that much. And games like Empire Eatch or micro's AoM wouldn't be hits.

I describe dthe Jensaarai as grey JEdi because that was a term that popped up is some earlier post and I thought it was referring to the Jensaarai. Formally they are no Jedi, they are no Sith either. They are a hybrid of both of them... For me a Jedi is someone who uses the Force to do good, moral good... He may not have a Jedi rank, nor a lightsaber, but he is deep down already a Jedi because of his commitment to good. A dark Jedi is a force-user who uses the force as a way to benefit himself. Out of selfishness. Sith a culture within the dark side of the FOrce, which does not mean that thir culture is dark as well. The Jensaarai incorpored SIth teaching into their own culture without becoming dark because they were "jedi" since they were doing good for others. DEfending their group. Although not as selfless as Luke or Yoda or Ben... All of it from a certain point of view...

That is one insteresting concept. We have to remember that the future is always in motion. COuld have yoda seen a parallel where Anakin didn't turn to the dark side. But luke and Leia did? Could he have glimpsed luke's dark side phase? thinking about what yoda may or may not have seen is difficult particularly becuase of the millions of possible futures he may have seen. He could have seen Palpy dancing like twi'lek, and that would have an effect on Anakin's development in the Force(not likely though, but possible). Just as well as if palpy came suggesting him to become more powerful even if he has to bend rules... or break them.... Had he been dancing like Twi'lek, I doubt anakin would have obeyed. The future is like a cloud, you don't see it materialize into something. As sosn as it becomes the present it is like river running. The past is solid, despite of intepretations of events. things happened and that can't be altered....

The divine one, of course knew that Elvis would fall from his hammock. Elvis writhed as if he had seen the devil in his dreams. God of course, the most powerful Force-User read in his mind another dream of Zoot and decided to wake him up. In that instant Elvis fel tfrom the hammock and fell... God open a hole on the floor so that he would eventually fall somewhere on Earth. God shrugged and realized that the SWR members had left but had left the SW girls behind. At least he had someone to play monopoly with.

Darksaber probably deserved that destiny, not one of the best books. None of Kevin J. Anderson's are aomgn the best, IMO. Read the Hand of Thrawn trilogy. It's like the end of the New Rep era. After that read Vector Prime and if you like the story on the Vong, you could continue reading.

Do you want to be the victim of a psychopathic cat? Do you want to witness a hoarde of ninja pirates riding a giant rooster attack a robotic pinapple corps commander? Do you define yourself as dweeby? If you answer all of the above with yes or um... Then go to Jahled's galaxy...

Trejiuvanat rejoiced the free-fall taking the opportunity to consider it for his physics exam tomorrow... After more than a week he had beaten the divine in a game of monopoly. Not even Mara Jade or Leia in his metal bikini had distracted TRejiuvanat from his objective. On his he had a perfect view of the soccer match, and called for a favor to have him float above the stadium for ninety minutes. Quite a game. Costa Rica won 2-1, it was a friendly but we have a new coach for the team so it's good to see him winning in his first matches against other countries that were in the World Cup. I doubt it woul dhave appeared on the paper. Even if we played with most of the players that went last year to the world cup, excep the one that plays in england, who is injured. Hopefullty la Sele, the local nickname of the national soccer team, will manage to win the GOlden Cup (equivalent of the Eurocup, but for the CONCACAF area) next July. Soccer is a natinal passion...No military tradition here, only a soccer tradition dreaming to become greater. Hmmm....mmmm.. I landed in some dark place.... it's moist...

If you start a incite uprising on a planet with 80/20 in favor of the Imps and you're Reb, then the planet should go neutral unless there have been other support-influencing factor in the sector.... Your copy of Rebellion is weird. First that blockade battle and now this.
-
Werid. Very weird. Soemtiem it has happened to me that if a battle was meant to occur on day 432, for example it would not happen when day 432 starts but at the end. The weird part is this blockade part. What ships composed your fleet?

Won't argue with you. Things is that if we want to have a Star Wars rank hierarchy we should define it. As to the Thrawn-Warlord thing: "His brilliant successes had won him the title of Warlord and the right to wear the white uniform of the Grand Admiral..." (HTTE Pg7) Pellaeon suggests that Warlord is a title.

I own it, I like it, though as Scathane says campaigns could be longer. I really liked the Expansion. I'm still hoping for a Yuuzhan VOgn Mod to replace the Gungans... Or an EU expansion, that would be nice. Chiss and Vong....

I cannot and wil not agree with you Evaders, but I can say that in some way I can understand your point of view on this. Your are livign the American standard of life, you will have a harder time imagining the real conditions of poverty in Iraq or any other third-world country. Your constitution includes moral view and values that are valid for your country. I'm not saying that this values are wrong or that democracy is wrong, but in some level they do apply for the U.S. only. The Brits democracy, nor the German's or the French' will be the same. The moral values of a country are influenced by the context they were created. There is no political American Empire, in the economic level there is one, it is hard to argue about the influence that it has. In Costa Rica peace protest protest the war. Agasint Bush and his measures, agaisnt Abel Pacheco for supporting him. But most of the protesters know that Saddam has to go. The UN failed not only because France didn't even vote on the matter. Perhpas if the Chilean proposal for the disarmment would have been suppported by one of the coalition countries france would have voted for it. The UN failed because it was shown that the U.S. could have almost managed to put it's agenda thorugh as an U.N. resolution. The U.N. has always been a weak organ with no real authority. Most of the Anti-U.S. sentiment is derived of the actions of the U.S., their meddling in in conflicts in a part of the world that should not matter to them. They have no moral high ground to be the judges of a country. Invade it and then turn it into a hub of American influence. After WWII they wanted that Germany became a country devoted to agriculture.... Actually after 9/11 latinamerican economy recovered a bit with the fall of the dollar. The argument of Freedom and Democracy loses part of it weight when you analyze and discover that it is the American interpretation of Freedom and Democracy. There aer ocuntries where a dicatorship works best because they need efficience. Under a dictatorship there isn't the problem of bureaucracy or having projects being approved by the parlament. The Oil for Foos programs, well as long as the foodstuff isn't the same of Alianza por el Progreso.... I'm glad that we can discuss this calmly. I am not angry at you and the above posts were written calmly. While I disagree with the U.S. politics, I cannot agree with Saddam, only that I think there is no way for any country to strike preemptively at him. Especially the U.S., whom is known to have strong expansionist politics. Which was the starting point of this forum. The PNAC.

Rjiuvan Shai was trembling in anger and fear. Anger at the ineptitude of his warriors. He had fought three of them simultaneously, and suffered no major injury. Fear because Supreme Overlord Shimraa had called him via villip during his fight. He closed the link. But Rjiuvan Shai knew he had to report back, he had failed to do so, because he did not know how to explain his find in this galaxy. A God who Is, A God who Bleeds. A God, An Infidel greater than any Yuuzhan Vong. Shimraa had been thier GOd during their VOyage in the Empty Space between galaxies. Now when thier conquest was beginning the Gods sent thier emissary their omen who is the Gods. Iulan S'Tor. A name with no equivalent in the Yuuzhan Vong language. He knew he would have to confront his Overlord, even if only to tell him that he believed in Iulan S'Tor not in Shimraa. He caressed the villip with the human hand. It writhingly reverted into the face of Overlord Shimraa....

You could buy monkey munchies for Horace and have him get the kitty krunchies to Zoot, perhaps you escape from the trash-compactor that way...

Either way it would be fun. WIth the TC we actually are taking the EU into Rebellion. An EU infinities... An EU where Thrawn's doesn't die at Bilbringi....

The Jensaarai appear in I, Jedi. They are force-users that base thier discipline and teaching on Sith techniques but employ them to protect their colony. They are not Jedi, nor Dark Jedi. I imageine they are the gray JEdi TK mentioned. AS to the different interpretations of the Force, think ofo it like god, or Allah or Buddha or whatever you believe. Everythign in this universe is susceptible to interpretations, it is a personal things. most people don't think about it, either they don't mind about it or they don0't care about it. If you think about it, you'll find that God is all you want him to be, it is your ideal. He is perfect, he is an ideal version of yourself, soemwehere in the process an anti-version of yourself comes up, everythign you don't want to be. The Force is much like that.

I bought it via my local bookstore, it's almost impossible to get Sw books around here. So they make special order. You could buy it on Amazon....

The invasion of Iraq is certainly one of the first steps in this "project for a new american century". Their plan is a simple one, it is a way of political and economcal neocolonialism. And while we won't bee seing more U.S. colonies like Guam, we will see countries that will be strongly influeced by the U.S. Imposing the dollar as a second currency was the very first step. Costa Rica uses the dollar as a secondary currency, Panama, El Salvador and Ecuador use dollar as the national currency. Removing dictators is opening up new colonies which will serve as hubs of american culture expansion, destroying other cultures entirely. Iraq is first, Plan Colombia has started to do so in my region. In a couple of months will the target be north Korea? An African country for the last. Europe is splitting up right now, being divided by the Iraqi War Issue, the Russians still resenting 50 years of a cold war, and a financial crisis, are isolated. The former-socialist countries are finding a way to keep up with global economy. The Euro is getting stronger, but not enough as to keep up with the dollar, so far it hasn't made any serious pushes in exporting money, like the U.S. does. The strategy of the PNAC is a simple one and sadly it is working. U.S. has less than 5% of global population. For an U.S. american living the way he does five people need to live in poverty. U.S. won't return to isolationism, and not only because it "needs" to prevent dictators from rising, but because its expansionist economy won't retreat now that it's at it's peak. The U.S. have trained Al-Qaeda terrorists in the 80s, have been respnsible for lots of dictatorships in latinamerica, only to prevent communism from spreading, even if the communist was elected by the people democratically. (Chile-Allende (1973)). I hold this opinion because of all the active members in this forum I live in a "third-world" country. Most of you live in Europe or the U.S. so I could say I know how much has this PNAC has an influence in my country. Even Costa Rica's stupid psychiatrist-president has supported the "Coalition", if only to secure the Free-Trade agreement with the U.S., his argument was:"If I had to choose between U.S children and Costa Rica Children AND Iraqi children. I'd choose American Children." Hardly worthy of a peace-loving country. jining a coalition when we don't have military. ______________________________________________________ This post was editted to correct my poor spelling. Thanks Jahled for pointing it out. I was writing fast but not angry. I wanted to see a soccer game in the evening.

Quite extensive research, I'll add some things: There is a Warlord rank, Thrawn had it and Zsinj gavehimself that promotion. Major possible ranks among starfighters is General. Moff are civilians, even if they are military governors. Moff Jerjerrod of the Moddell Sector, GRand Moff Tarkin Governor of the Outer RIm. There are also Prefects. The Alliance has Generals in the navy. General Garm Bel Iblis.

There are some who say that after lots of General Bombardment there is no energy to use, when you move to the planet.
