  1. Hahaha, yeah, vacation days can get confusing. "What day is it today? Thursday? Crap, it's Sunday! Work tomorrow again! "
  2. Thank God.
  3. That was sarcasm, right?
  4. They've said 2-3 years BBY. In the beginning it was 2 years, these days it's 3 it seems.
  5. I think Luke was fairly busy holding on himself. Not at the same spot, but alittle further up the corridor.
  6. Err, yes, I am. Sorry, typing really fast so I can get finished at work and go home. Already worked 2 hours overtime.
  7. Ok, so the SD's and other fighter carrying ships will come with it's full compliment of fighers? Will you be able to choose which type of starfighters each ship should carry? Or is it set 75/25 Fighters/bombers for the ISD for instance (just to use a ship example)?
  8. It's possible there is such a story aswell, but I clearly remember this comic story where Vader and Luke is fighting, and then the captain of the ships sees his chance to get rid of the Dark Lord himself. EDIT: Well, actually, I can't remember if they actually fought now that I remember, but Vader was atleast sensing Luke. But I do remember the commander or whatever he was, on whatever it was, which definatly was in space, opening a airlock near Vader and Vader almost getting sucked out. You all follow me so far.
  9. We're (LucasForum and Empire at War.Net) missing our answers too, but appearantly they are mighty busy over at Delphi.
  10. I never post without thinking first. And I never post posts like that without reading the history (or brush up on it). Perhaps you should do the same? Consequently, I can't find any references to suggest the X-Wing was going to be solely for the Empire in the first place.
  11. I'm thinking of the one where Vader and Luke has an encounter and then the ships captain sees an opportunity to vent Vader out an airlock. Unfortunatly he fails as Vader is able to pull himself inside again and shut the door.
  12. Yeah, I remember that one. Didn't the captain try and do the same to Vader moments earlier?
  13. The Empire had various designs up their sleeves, but not all of them were picked. Look at the TIE Advanced x1. What became of it? It got put aside, and the TIE Interceptor was born instead based on the Advanced x1 research. Further development was put into the x1, but it was slow. Eventuelly it resulted in the TIE Avenger, but still the Empire didn't want a shielded, hyperspace capable ship. They wanted big ships, and refused to realize that they really needed TIE's to be shielded. When they finally gave in to their own ideals, it was too late. So, based on this mindsett, I have no doubt that if you as the Empire prevent the rebels from aquiring the X-Wing design, it will most likely be scrapped, or morfed into something else.
  14. Well, "executed" means he get's killed. The word does not specify in what way you get killed.
  15. That would suck so bad if the Empire also got the X-Wing. Not also. Instead. I doubt very much the Empire is going to use the model much if they prevent the rebels from stealing the design and prototypes. It will probably be scrapped and the design team be killed for treason against the Emperor.
  16. The 3 ISD's dropped right out of Hyperspace into the SSD it looks like to me: Image
  17. What cutscenes did you have in mind?
  18. I don't think it will be necessary, Juggernaut. I mean, the ship is over 700 meters long, and if you are going to be realistic with it, it's going to cover alooot of the ground map.
  19. Isn't this one in the wrong forum? I thought this forum was for facts, not fiction. (pun intended)
  20. actually, the link is a bit screwed, but most people should be able to figure out that if you remove the comma you get the right page.
  21. We understand why it's being put outside the protection of the shield in the game. What we don't understand is why they state it's true Star Wars Lore? This is news to me, cause only games have put shield generators outside the protection of the shields, and only for 1 reason: So it's easier for 1 person to do damage (as if 1 X-Wing can take out an entire Star Destroyer for instance ). If they said "... in true Star Wars Game Lore" I wouldn't bother about it.
  22. But the reason why the DS II was surrounded by a shield projected from the moon surface, was because the DSII's own shields wasn't operational yet. The number 1 priority on the DS was to get the weaponssystems, and most of, the Superlaser, online. EDIT: Hmm, I'm gonna leave this here, but I don't think I read your post correctly (I really should stop posting stuff when tired. )
  23. Well, I should have said "When I lost over and over and over" over stupid reasons.
  24. Oh, thank God. I thought I had missed some elementary. *phew*
  25. Okay, I've looked thru the script for Return of the Jedi, and nowhere could I see Ackbar uttering such words. I haven't gotten access to the novels for the movies, but I would imagine it would be mentioned on Saxtons page if those words was used by Ackbar to describe the heavy batteries. So unless someone can provide a movie novel quote, then there is no canon source stating this. So ... that's that, end of discussion.
