Like Darkmark said, the common fallacy is that you will explode in space. This is not true. You'll swell up, but that's it. Of course you'll fry if you are exposed to the sun, and of course you'll freeze if not. And even if you are still within the space suit, your blood will probably start to boil aswell. But it's not instant. That's the point I wanted to get to. You won't fry instantly with contact with the sun. You won't freeze instantly, because heat doesn't dissipate that quickly from the body. And your blood won't boil instantly upon contact with space vacuum. In fact, as long as the system (blood system) is still running, and the pressure is kept up above the minimum needed, your blood won't boil at all. And you certaintly won't explode. Unless you have very, very weak skin. Your lungs will not explode because of lack of air. It will collapse, but not explode. If you want to damage your lungs in space (or vacuum for that matter), just hold your breath.
