LOL, that'd be great. "From frequent flyer miles with the Empire, you can now cash in on your choice of Super Star Destroyer or Death Star! Please submit all wishes for frequent flyer gifts by day 3502. Frequent flyer reqards program is not valid if Corporate center has been tacken over by Rebels or Yuzahn Vong." Hah hah, no one can tell that I wrote this!

That's sort of what I mean. What if you just replace some troops that you can build with bounty hunters? I mean, I don't know if you can do this, but can you increase the number of beings that can be trained at troop training centers?
-
Oh... my bad.
-
Some one (A while back) mentioned putting Boba Fett in with the Empire. Well, how 'bout this? If possible, you could hire bounty hunters (Such as, you would build them in a troop training center, or something for a very high price) bounty hunters have varying skills depending on price and hunter (boba being the best, IG88 and Bosk or something thrown in there). Just putting it out there. I know nothing of game programing, so I could be making a beyond-all-reason-demand.

Oops, I supose it would help if I actually posted the link! http://mail.google.com/mail/?view=att&disp=inline&attid=0.1&th=104d4056f521469e You may just have to copy paste that into the address box.

Okay, if anyone is watching this, here's a link that should work to get you a look at a picture of one Rebel with the crap beaten out of him. Note: No people were harmed in the slaughter of this Rebel... Except the rebl... And some guy who burned his arm up and put a picture of it on the web. The blood is all make-up.

No need to appoligize, mate! I just enjoy bringing up the story- snapped it on a damned rail I was trying to grind off of. When fronsides turn into Royals, bad things happen... Okay, this is justified under the topic because aggressive skating has always been an ancient Jedi method of keeping in shape and becoming atuned with the force. just like DDR.

Dude, don't even joke about that sort of thing with me! I got teased so much when I broke my arm... Not where you would normally break our arm, either- I snapped it right up near my shoulder where, as orthopedic doctor put it "I've only seen old ladies snap this bone". That and their hips. Thse are the two most difficult bones to break in a human body... Have to have what they call a "shoulder imobilizer", translates into a whole crap load of velcro and and a sling for a combined period of nine weeks. It really sucks. yeah, so that was severely off topic I appoligise to those who are actually productive... All three of you out there!

It's very simple to get screen shots of Rebellion. It involves going to Google.com and doing an images search for "Star Wars Rebellion", though some of the shots were done to make it seem as dramatic as possible, as opposed to showing what the game is really like. But if you soom out enough, the graphics actually seem lik'®³ey're okay.

I thought the guy who posted this was playing as the Alliance Anyway, a good strategy to take is to take a lesser planet in the Sesswenna sector. Then, while it's still in a slightly revlot-like state, you can drawn some of the imps over to try and free it. When the ships arrive to pound it, you pop in and kick some tail. Thus, they have a less defended Coruscant. Doesn't necessarily work to bring a huge amount of force out, but if you kill, say, a fifth of their Coruscant fleet, that can help. If that plan doesn't quite work out, try putting some captured Imps on the planet that you took- should make them increase their efforts to take it back... Hopefully. One last thing- use the Dauntless Cruisers, man! They're awesome to have!

Success of Assassinations vs Abductions...?
DarthTofu replied to Darth_Gonzo's question in Questions from Newbies
As has been mentioned by Darth_Tex before, you might want to just capture them and use them to your advantage. If you put them on some world of yours with minimal garrison and let them escape, then check the personel finder, they'll run to the last world that they were on that is controlled by their faction... Or something like that. I find this works fairly well for finding Rebel strongholds. Say hello to my little friend, Rebels- his name is The Death Star! -
I let 'em control my mines/refinerys, but I have to actually build a lot of mines. My droids always seem to make thousands of refinerys for every three or four mines . Not sure why, but I have to get myself most of my buildpoints.

I believe that Mr. Chili got it right... Or it could be Miss Chili, I don't know. I only did a minimal installation, i think, since I wasn't sure how to play the game when I first installed it and figured I'd learn as I went... Doesn't work too well . But all the other old games that i installed were fully installed, so I'll try a full instal and see if that helps. Thanks.

I reread the manual- According to the manual, if your forces are on a mission to a planet that you do not own, they will return to the last confirmed move area. Though I was wrong about the ships. Thing is, though, that confirmed move thing has gotten me before. I completely forgot about it and intended to pick someone up when I sent them on a sabatoge mission to a Rebel planet that I blew up anyway from another system. Vader went from Sesswana to Sluis and back again...

Oh... dangit, I thought I was being superior... (Bangs head against bulkhead until it splits sending him out into hard vacume) *Ghasp!* Neep air! (Explodes due to lack of pressure... Not that I would have actually been able to talk in vacume, there being nothing for the sound waves to hit... Oh well
-
Another thing about your confirmed move question: when you send your fleet ona confirmed move to a system, that if where they will automatically retreat to if they have to run... Or that could be just just with characters and ground units who return there after they have a mission either foiled or successful, and are returning "home'. But a confirmed move makes them do that. otherwise they just go to their last confirmed move (Which could b in another sector) or else go to the nearest system that you control.

Eh, I just turn the speakers off, or else all of the sound options to avoid static. It's no big deal, and it might just be my speakers (they're ancient and have a history of breaking).

It was the Thrawn trilogy that it was mentioned in. positive. Leiah mentions something about a dark jedi who was tracked all the way to Deigobah and luke finally reveals that was where he was trained by Yoda. he eventually winds up going back to Degobah, hoping to find some form of a clue in Yoda's hut, but, having lived on Tatooine all of his life, he didn't realize that buildings would decompose in a swamplike environment. Still looking foor a clue, he goes into the cave, see's the thing about Mara on the sail barge stealing his light saber. Then he finds the transmiter that was primed and ready to use froma dark jedi's ship, which had potential to be something, but never became one. he takes it to lando and lando IDs it as a ship caller. I told you, i remember things. And besides, i never read the duology and I remember this from the trilogy, so it must be right! If this had a\n evilly superior smirk I would use it, btu ican't. j/k, but still, it was the trilogy. Positive.

Conquered All With Alliance & Cant Find Vader & Empe
DarthTofu replied to heathxxx's question in Questions from Newbies
Oh, my bad. i just checked back on my manuals. I remembered that the mon cals always foiled my assassination missions on them when I was EMpire, so i just thought that... Sorry, wasn't trying to be a jerk, there! -
I would advise you to build up your fleets with weaker ships. Some things, like the Dreadnauts, are always powerful. Also, if you don't have ship design research going on, then get to that, as well as anything else you can. But a good fleet can consist of simply several dreadnauts, a gravity well cruiser if you have it, and some nebulon Bs/ fighters (Preferably X-wings).
-
Thrawn trilogy amigo. But, yeah, I think that's where one of the fallen twenty-one went. And it's the cave, not the tree. I read it fairly recently and have a memory for random facts . i think the outbound flight project'll get into it some. Not sure when it's set for release, though.

Conquered All With Alliance & Cant Find Vader & Empe
DarthTofu replied to heathxxx's question in Questions from Newbies
A little trick that I've found, if you have training centers like shipyards (Or even one training center) you should consider putting Mon Cal regiments on your planets instead of sullustans. Sullustans are cheap to produce, but they have little detection. one more thing- if you know what system the Imps are in, have a bothan spy regiment on every planet. They can perform espionage missions and alert you of inbound ships so that you can gather all of your force to face, say an Imp Star or whatever they have blockading the planet. yes, the mission reports get very annoying, but it can be worth it when you find and destroy the scum! -
Conquered All With Alliance & Cant Find Vader & Empe
DarthTofu replied to heathxxx's question in Questions from Newbies
That must've taken awhile! (I speak from experiance, having taken over a small galaxy with my fleets as both Rebels and imperials). But if you can't seem to find either of them, there are a couple of possibilities. they are both on missions of espionage or something to one of your planets. Okay, so I'm not sure if that works or not, but it should. They could also be on a ship of some sort, like, say, a carrack class light cruiser (Or, if you're really unlucky, a gigantic fleet of star destroyers). They could be taking long hyperspace jumps from one side of the galaxy to the other, evading you for as long as possible In an effort to keep you from finding them. I'll assume that, having taken over the galaxy, you have at least one huge shipyard per system. If not, then get building them! From that point on in, put the inderdictor frigates (I kinda forgot what they're called) on each plantet that you occupy. When the fleet comes out, hopefully you can destroy them (Or at least damage the ship heavily). die, Imps, die! -
Whenever i play Rebellion on an older computer (Windows 95) it always seems to mess up the speakers, sending out a burst of static in place of music. I play other Star Wars games on the same computer (X-wing, TIE Fighter, etc.) and they all work fine with no static. Is there anyway to prevent it from happening?

Well, from what I know, Seifodious (However you spell it) was really Plaugeias. He, along with Dooku and nineteen other jedi formed the "Fallen twenty-one" who were Jedi who quit the order due to personal matters or fear of turning to the dark side, or something. Since they still knew the jedi powers, though, most of them did become sith lords and all, eventually being killed. This was spread out over a long perios of time with the fallen twenty-one, just FYI. Most of them were already killed before episode one, or were just good little hermits that Vader eventually slaughtered.
