  1. NO link, Krytos, sorry. Just google "Stargate Video game" and you'll probably get the game. As for Atlantis- it's Major Sheppard, man! And McKay can totally whoop Carter's ass! In the scientific world, that is. It's like that thing that was on friday- Amanda Tapping's time reading about black holes- 29.9 sec. David Hewlett- 12.4 sec. Or something similar. Blown AWAY!
  2. I don't think so. The beginning of Episode three would have been something of a "traumatic" experiance for an old guy- didn't you see the thousands of ships getting the crap blown out of them? I don't think watching something like that would have an effect on him. he actuallyenjoys it, blowing them up with a Death Star. Then again, who wouldn't ?
  3. You know, I'm getting a very strange feeling of de ja vu after hearing those words... Almost as if there were a second trilogy to what could have been a great stand alone trilogy that followed in a very similar maner... Hmm, what could it be, I wonder?
  4. Yup. Seen the previews for that gmae yet? Graphics are fairly awesome looking for a first person shooter! Poor Carter... Heeheehee. Out the window.
  5. Okay. For the record, I told them that I was writing very far in advance to when it might actually done, but if I ever get a reply, I will pass on what you said. Sorry 'bout that
  6. Okay, i know that this isn't entirely apporpriate for a Star Wars website, but my sister asked me to post it to find out, and I figure that this is s good of a spot as any to find out if there are people interested in this- Anyone here that is a fan of Stargate: Atlantis- my sister and i might be opening a general plot writing/ discussion forum on the topic. Just saying, so feel free to contact me and ask me about it- eventually I will have information. Administrators, once again, sorry that this has nothing to do with Star Wars, I just didn't know where else to put it, and I know that there is at least one fan of SG-1 here from the card catelog.
  7. Okay, I E-mailed PC gamer, but no reply... yet.
  8. How about- "The game where Thrawn is way cooler and the graphics are without a doubt better than the game that this is based on (TradeMark, Copyright, Restricted, Patented)"?
  9. Okay, now that Eko went and made a preview poster for the Mootriix, he has to go make he entire movie.
  10. Going back to a previous post, someone mentioned Palpy's not being able to sense Yoda. Well, what if Yoda was like Corran in "I, Jedi"? Corran could draw the frce in around him so that no one could find him, including a thousand year old sith lord on Yavin. Also, Anakin wasn't on the dark side when he first found out about the twins. He probably would have used good side force to find out about the twins.
  11. Mmm, see what I can do, I shall. I'll see if I can't E-mail PC gamer.
  12. I sort of did that, once. The Imps left an Impereal class Star Destroyer behind, then returned with a VIC before returning with somewhere around three vics and an Imp Star. Still, killed all of their TIEs- that rocks. Even if my Mon Cal and junk got the crap beaten out of them . But I'll have to try the blocasing strategy- me thinks it could be handy!
  13. A Republic at war. Just to get Lucas mad at us, seeing as that isn't copyright.
  14. As for the mind reading thing- how do you explain Vader's sudden knowledge that luke has a twin sister in ROTJ? Also, in ROTJ Luke makes the whole stupid speach of "The force is strong in my family. My mother had it (You sure about that?). My father had it. my sister has it" Or something along those lines. This proved Leia to be atuned to the force.
  15. I gotta say Lucas, even though I've never seen the other Matrix movies except for the first ones. Lucas hired the absolute worst people for Anakin in TPM, AOTC and ROTS. Though ROTS was pretty dang awesome. But honestly, didn't he notice how crappy Jake Loyd and Haden Christianson were? Christianson can sort of be justified for martial Arts skills, but in all seriousness, I don't think his tone of voice ever changes in ROTS. Then again, that is an improvement over AOTC. "No! No, mom, nO! NO!"... Good lord, that takes the cake. I really think that was Lucas's biggest error- terrible actors.
  16. Aye. What really floors me is that Anakin, who is so atuned to the force, couldn't figure out that Padme' had twins. There were most deffinately two seperate people in her, but he still didn't know that Leiah was his daughter until episode six. Didn't he bother to look inside her when she was on the Death Star? Let me refrase that- didn't he investigate her with the force? He'd have found some Anakin in her.
  17. Okay, thanks. I was kind of afraid that i would have to download the patch on one of the newer computers so that I could play. My mom freaks out whenever I download stuff off the web... And no, it's not that I still live with my parents- I'm 14. Not 30, or whatever.
  18. Though, as I can tell you, talented photoshoper doesn't mean taking images off of the web and altering them into what you want them to be
  19. Quick question- are there going to be higher requirments in the graphics, RAM, etc. areas in using Rebellion reloaded? I've seen some of the things that people have come up with, and I'm not sure how well they will run on my compy. So will there be upgraded system requirements?
  20. By no means. See, I'm half Yuzhan Vong, so I empbrace pain! But seriously, I would like to see it. Just asking, though, would you happen to be a member of fanfiction or something? Because you would probably be widely hailed on works in the "Tom Clancey" sections. But yeah, I deffinately want to see this stuff, maybe burn it to a disk and see if windows 98 can stand up toit (Though probably it can't. Thing's a piece of junk)
  21. My brain hurts... ow. Man, you are clearly a far smarter person than me. For the record, though, it's just a game, so feel free to enjoy it as just a game rather than a giant legal system. Also, just for fun and to throw a wrench into the middle of all that you've worked so hard to build: Leia specifically tells Tarkin in Episode Four "I should have known you would be the one holding Vader's leash". In other words, Tarkin got to control Vader, meaning that Vader wasn't second in command, or else that a Grand Moff on his own project get's all high ranking authority. Of course, you probably have a responce to that, and I'm willing to bet a fair amount of money that it will be another novel!
  22. Proof read it eally fast, and under "Poor reaction" this sentance is rather confusing: "The some players however were hardly impressed by this, expecting to control or see the on-planet battles of their troops, and not just see the outcome, like in the old game Defender of the Crown." Just saying.
  23. If I weren't so lazy, I would get out the Rogue Squadron book that Page's full name is mentioned in. But I'm too lazy. I'll tell you that the book is simply entitled "X-wing: Rogue Squadron", though. To answer your very early question about rank: Yes, Naval, Air Force, and army rankings are different.Iinterestingly enough, Marine, SEALs, and Army all use the same system, though... I think. As far as the Grand Admiral level goes, you might want to just check the front cover on the Thrawn trilogy books. I knoow that he's on the cover of at least one. heck, I'll check it real fast (Runs off to check Thrawn trilogy book's front covers) (returns) okay, according to "HEIR TO THE EMPIRE" Thrawn has six blue bars stacked equally on the left hand side of his uniform (The viewer's left if facing Thrawn), and then three yellow bars stacked up on top of three red bars directly adjacent to the blue bars. If that was too difficult, I'll use this easy-to-understand-diogram. BBBYYY BBBRRR B=blue Y=yellow R=red Also, Thrawn has yellow fringe on his uniform's shoulders, in case you want to incorporate that. I forget what the fringe things are called. Pauldrons (SP?)
