  1. I have an ancient microphone at my house that I might be able to use to say things into it, such as "Red Flight, beginning attack run" or whatever. My copy of Rebellion isn't hooked up to the internet, so... yeah. But would that be okay, or do you really want the English versions that the game came with?
  2. I'm nnot sure if this is possible or not (I don't speak computer) but how cool would it be if you were able to punch a hole in the shields of a star destroyer? I think it was in the Kryts trap or something the Stackpole made a big deal about Rogue Squadron all hitting an Imp Star II and then any commander that was worth his rank would roll to present a shielded part of his capital ship. It's just an idea, and I'm sure that this can kick ass easily without it. One way it might work (And this is almost pure guesswork on my part) is if the the capital ship, which, as you said before, is made up of multiple 3D images, each of those 3D images had a different set of shields, or something? That way you can, like I said, punch a hole in it. That might lead to problems, though, if all of the AI doesn't aim at one location... I don't know, like I said, I'm not as smart as you people... In the computer world, that is
  3. Okay, apparently that came out wrong- I had been under the impression that Rebellion was a huge flop that only sold in the U.S., just because I thought that was the only place it had been made. I was just amased that the game got out of the country- I mean, it wook me seven years before I took it out of a dusty box and played it, I hated it when I first tried it (I was a weak-minded fool at the time who didn't read the instruction manual). So, no offense meant to the rest of the world- not saying that the U.S. is better than anywhere else- I was saying that I thought they made Rebellion and that it never really left the country, except on Ebay, maybe.
  4. Hold on- they made copys of this game in other countries? That is awesome! it'd just be great to hear Darth Vader talking in German, or something. "Luke, mein hester der nelchar!"... Not that that's actually German. But that kicks ass- Rebellion in different languages!
  5. Did you see the show it was from? It was something like Sci Fi Friday down under, I think. It was something about the first man-on-man kiss in the history of Sci Fi. It's very funny- you should watch it. And no, I'm not gay. it's stargte.
  6. "Star Wars will at least always have some kind of Magic." So now we have star wars magicians. "Look here, ladies and gentlemen, all of the lights are turned out, and all we have is this tiny generator- not nearly enough power to light up all of the lights in this building, right? Wrong!" (Force lightning on generator causes all lights in building to turn on) "Ta da! Thank you, folks, I'm here until my most trusted servant throws me down a bottomless shaft that I thought added a great deccorative flair to my throne room!"
  7. That was kind of the question that I was asking. I remembered hearing about them in passing on one of the forums, I think it had something to do with RebED or reloaded, or Rebellion 2, or something.
  8. isuh... No idea. I'll have to get him to either set up his own account or use mine at his house to figure out what all is wrong. THough that's odd that you're fine on XP- that thing crashed jedi Knight on me, though the game is admitadly older... I'll have him log on and tell you.
  9. My friend has the Rebellion game, but he has a newer model of computer, so it won't run. Where on the site is the patch for it?
  10. The premiere- awesome, no?
  11. Odd, I always thought it was "may the Schwartz be with you". Star Warz 7: The Quest for More Money
  12. Oh man, Hayden Christianson is credited with the creation of "monotone acting". "I will become the most powerful jedi ever." "What have I done?" "I will kill you, Obi-One" (Bangs head against wall to get rid of Christianson's acting)
  13. That would be fun- get Lucas Arts so mad at us whereas they can do nothing about it. MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Also, more names: A Republic in the middle of a war Oh, shit, we missed a Grand Admiral There's gonna be hell to pay when I take back Coruscant, bitches! Something far more elegant than the prequals.
  14. You know, it's kind of weird. Everyone on a site devoted to something that Lucas helped create hates him. I'm kind of scared to ask what the public opinion is on Steven Spielburg...
  15. For the record, not arguing at all, just stating something that I read to help in fact finding, apparently Qui Gon has "Discovered the path to immortality" meaning that he was the first to discover how to transend and show up to living people as a ghostly... thing that looks suspiciously like the same technology used to make holograms. Anyway, according to the book, he trained Yoda some. Though, for all I know, there could be some Jedi temple info... Though why not share it with Luke? Me ponders...
  16. *Sniff* you're right. I feel for the clones now! (Breaks down crying for the poor, missused clones) Seriously, though, I deffinately see your point and agree with it.
  17. Will do. many thanks.
  18. If you want a new copy of Rebellion on line that may be slightly used and missing instructions, or something, check http://www.half.com It's a branch of E-bay that shows you the absolute cheapest (And sometimes junkiest)stuff for sale. Honestly, we got Apollo Thirteen (The movie) off of there for sixteen cents. No exageration... Well, except for shipping. Just saying.
  19. Someone stated that humans are humans- but what about this increadibally-stupid, based-on-next-to-nothing theory? Palpatine isn't human. He really has gungan blood in him that has altered him on the inside, just not the outside! It's not a bad theory in the least bit
  20. Oh, you are cheap, amigo...
  21. http://www.stargate-thealliance.com/ my sister got that for you, Mr. Krytos- that is the site of the Sg-1 video game. Be sure to watch the previews- they're fun, though the graphics aren't as high end as some other games- it being a first person sooter and all. Or, possibly a third person shooter. Still, when I get that game, i'm gettin' me a staff cannon!
  22. Well, in the end the clones were evil, what with order sixty-six, and all. When the Republic became the Empire, it sort of makes the clones evil, though not really. Personally I find the clones becoming stormtroopers thing particularly stupid after such lines as "Close the blast doors, close the blast doors! Opent he blast doors, open the blast foors!" in which we clearly see that the stormtroopers do- not- have Coruscant accents.
  23. Wow, everyone likes the movie... I thought it was a piece of crap, but that's just me I read the book of the movie, as Monty Python would call it, though, and enjoyed that when I was still little. Though Ra wasn't exactly a Goa'old if you read/watch the movie. And by the way- Atlantis is trying to do character development. That was the idea behind Sheppard shooting the crap out of Bob the Wraith! Though i can sort of see where your going with that, Mr. Fish Face, the show is still getting it's footing, and the planet is kinda under a siege from these huge Yuzhan VOng-like aliens that want to suck their lives out of their chests. Not much time for small talk and development in the easy sense- hense the whole "McKay is the cowardly scientist learning to fight, Tey'la is the hardened warrior, Sheppard is the couragous hero, and Ford will follow as his second in command" thing. It's kinda like Daniel getting shot almost every episode in several seasons of stargate.
  24. Anyone ever noticed that in that scene of ESB right after Luke gets the shoulder shot in, Darth Vader says "Hooooooooooolllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy ****". Seriously, watch it, he swears like middle schooler when Luke slashes his armor.
  25. I'd say that's a good point, but Obi is about the same age, and Alderan is just a huge disturbance in the force- he actually has to sacrifice himself before he dies at Vader's hand.
