Are those his only dialogue lines? Or just a "test sequence"? How many lines does he have in total (provided those aren't his only line)?

It should be in the "Downloads" section, and it's a program that disables the hyperdrive on a class of ship. I replaced the Corellian gunship with the Golan III Defense Platform (card and models), then ran this program (picking "Corellian gunship" as that is what ship was replaced). In game, all Golan III platforms then have a (red) "X" next to them indicating that the hyperdrive is non-functional. But be careful! Everytime you run "RebEd" you must re-run the battlestations mod (RebEd "resets" the hyperdrive "flag" that the program mods).

I wasn't sure where to put this, and decided "what the heck, this is pretty random". Did you feel the "awe and insignificance" when reading through the Pale Blue Dot thread? Well, here's something a bit closer to home ... as a father, this might have more significance to me, but who knows ... it could affect anyone's outlook on life ... (From Rick Reilly - Sports Illustrated) I try to be a good father. Give my kids mulligans. Work nights to pay for their text messaging. Take them to swimsuit shoots. But compared with Dick Hoyt, I suck. Eighty-five times he's pushed his disabled son, Rick, 26.2 miles in marathons. Eight times he's not only pushed him 26.2 miles in a wheel chair but also towed him 2.4 miles in a dinghy while swimming and pedaled him 112 miles in a seat on the handlebars--all in the same day. Dick has also pulled him cross-country skiing, taken him on his back mountain climbing and once hauled him across the U.S. on a bike. Makes taking your son bowling look a little lame, right? And what has Rick done for his father? Not much--except save his life. This love story began in Winchester, Mass., 43 years ago, when Rick was strangled by the umbilical cord during birth, leaving him brain-damaged and unable to control his limbs. "He'll be a vegetable the rest of his life;'' Dick says doctors told him and his wife, Judy, when Rick was nine months old. "Put him in an institution.'' But the Hoyts weren't buying it. They noticed the way Rick's eyes followed them around the room. When Rick was 11 they took him to the engineering department at Tufts University and asked if there was anything to help the boy communicate. "No way,'' Dick says he was told. "There's nothing going on in his brain.'' "Tell him a joke,'' Dick countered. They did. Rick laughed. Turns out a lot was going on in his brain. Rigged up with a computer that allowed him to control the cursor by touching a switch with the side of his head, Rick was finally able to communicate. First words? "Go Bruins!'' And after a high school classmate was paralyzed in an accident and the school organized a charity run for him, Rick pecked out, "Dad, I want to do that.'' Yeah, right. How was Dick, a self- described "porker'' who never ran more than a mile at a time, going to push his son five miles? Still, he tried. "Then it was me who was handicapped,'' Dick says. "I was sore for two weeks.'' That day changed Rick's life. "Dad,'' he typed, "when we wererunning, it felt like I wasn't disabled anymore!'' And that sentence changed Dick's life. He became obsessed with giving Rick that feeling as often as he could. He got into such hard-belly shape that he and Rick were ready to try the 1979 Boston Marathon. "No way,'' Dick was told by a race official. The Hoyts weren't quite a single runner, and they weren't quite a wheelchair competitor. For a few years Dick and Rick just joined the massive field and ran anyway, then they found a way to get into the race officially: In 1983 they ran another marathon so fast they made the qualifying time for Bostonthe following year. Then somebody said, "Hey, Dick, why not a triathlon?'' How's a guy who never learned to swim and hadn't ridden a bike since he was six going to haul his 110-pound kid through a triathlon? Still, Dick tried. Now they've done 212 triathlons, including four grueling 15-hour Ironmans in Hawaii. It must be a buzzkill to be a 25-year-old stud getting passed by an old guy towing a grown man in a di nghy, don't you think? Hey, Dick, why not see how you'd do on your own? "No way,'' he says. Dick does it purely for "the awesome feeling'' he gets seeing Rick with a cantaloupe smile as they run, swim and ride together. This year, at ages 65 and 43, Dick and Rick finished their 24th Boston Marathon, in 5,083rd place out of more than 20,000 starters. Their best time'? Two hours, 40 minutes in 1992--only 35 minutes off the world record, which, in case you don't keep track of these things, happens to be held by a guy who was not pushing another man in a wheelchair at the time. "No question about it,'' Rick types. "My dad is the Father of the Century.'' And Dick got something else out of all this too. Two years ago he had a mild heart attack during a race. Doctors found that one of his arteries was 95% clogged. "If you hadn't been in such great shape,'' one doctor told him, "you probably would've died 15 years ago.'' So, in a way, Dick and Rick saved each other's life. Rick, who has his own apartment (he gets home care) and works in Boston, and Dick, retired from the military and living in Holland, Mass., always find ways to be together. They give speeches around the country and compete in some backbreaking race every weekend, including this Father's Day. That night, Rick will buy his dad dinner, but the thing he really wants to give him is a gift he can never buy. "The thing I'd most like,'' Rick types, "is that my dad sit in the chair and I push him once.'' Here's the video.... if you don’t watch it, you will miss something VERY special…. (Can ) Father-son bond of Dick and Rick Hoyt Learn more on the Dad's perspective

I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but I believe (in general) Texas executes more convicts than all of the rest of the US combined. And we don't have the largest of state populations! So, bottom line, don't commit a capital crime in Texas , odds are you're goin' get fried

NEW!! Rebel Uprising II! Day 1000, current status. (At day 900, not too much was worth reporting, so I kept on going) The Imperials aren't really doing much, so I decided to be the one to do something. Sesswenna sector: My secret project is completed but the results were not as grand as I expected. Nevertheless, I have initiated my secret plan four more additional times. What I did: I had a corvette in orbit at Bortras and had the ASY's of Averam construct a Golan III to join the corvette's fleet. While the Golan III was in hyperspace enroute to join the corvette, I sent the corvette on a suicide mission to Coruscant. The corvette was easily crushed by the Imperial defenders, but they got quite a surprise a couple of days later when the Golan III showed up! But alas, the Golan III didn't fare too well under the onslaught of over 2 dozen Imperial starfighters. But the concept was proved that a non-hyperspace vehicle (the Golan III due to the battlestations mod), can travel through hyperspace to an enemy destination. I wasn't sure if the Golan III would continue to Bortras (where the corvette was initially located) and be stationed there, or if it would "follow" its destination fleet until it "caught up". Now I know. Usually if you blockade an enemy system, enemy forces rush to break the blockade. But what if your blockading fleet can't flee? And a formidable one at that! Anyway, I sent a small fleet of 2 Dauntless cruisers with 3 escort carriers (all loaded with A-wings) to Coruscant. I shot up as many fighters as possible, then fled the system to limit damage to Imperial capital ships. It took three "raids" to whittle down the defending starfighters. Another corvette was put in orbit over Ghorman, and the ASY's of Averam and Svivren were each producing a Golan III for that fleet. When the first Golan was completed and was enroute, I dispatched the corvette for another suicide run to Coruscant. The arrival of my corvette was a surprise for me ... there were no Imperial capital ships defending Coruscant! My corvette took out the few Tie Interceptors that were left behind. Over the next two weeks, both Golan III's have arrived, putting the planet under permanent blockade! I've sent a dozen A-wings to be stationed on the Golan III's. As soon as extra troops become available I'll move some over there. Coruscant's current defenses are 10 Stormtroopers, 2 Gen Core II's plus 1 Gen Core I, an LNR II battery and a KDY battery. General Griff is in charge with Darth Maul, 6 espionage droids, 2 Imperial commandos and 1 Nogrhi. Corellian sector: Not much is going on in this sector for me. I have a reinforcement fleet enroute after some "action" in the Farfin sector. The arriving fleet consists of: 1 MonCal cruiser, 4 assault frigates, 2 Dauntless cruisers, 4 escort carriers and 1 interdictor with 6 X-wings and 29 B-wings. They will join up with the current ragtag fleet (2 corvettes, 1 VSD and 4 bulk transports) at Duros on day 1010. Duros currently has 13 A-wings, 18 B-wings, 18 X-wings and 15 more A-wings enroute. The Empire has been quite busy! Here are the current stats on some of the Imperial systems: Drall: 2 Golan III's, 3 interdictors, 3 escort carriers, 4 Star Galleons and 15 Tie Interceptors; Talus: 14 Tie Interceptors; Corfai: 1 dreadnaught, 1 carrack, 1 lancer and 18 Tie Fighters, 14 Tie Interceptors; Tralus: 3 Star Galleons, 1 galleon and 5 Tie Fighters, 14 Tie Interceptors, 7 Tie Bombers. The Imperials have successfully assaulted Vagran using 1 ISD, 1 dreadnaught, 1 carrack and 2 Star Galleons. I lost 4 MonCal troops to their 5 Stormtroopers and 2 War Droids. A follow up raid on my part (after their fleet left) was unsuccessful. But, a couple of sabotage missions did succeed, throwing Vagran into uprising! There are now currently 7 troops on system, with 113 more enroute! 113!!?? Holy crap! I'm going to wait until they all arrive before sending my reinforcement fleet to blow them away! Fakir sector: Nothing much happening here, my fleet patrols this sector with impunity. It occasionally blockades Imperial systems destroying any fighters and garrison troops. Infiltrators take out any Imperial special forces. The latest intel shows an ISD and dreadnaught enroute to Halowan. My improved fleet (5 escort carriers, 2 Liberator carriers, 3 Neb-B frigates, 1 VSD, 1 MonCal cruiser, 1 interdictor, 1 Dauntless cruiser, 4 bulk transports with 61 fighters (mostly B-wings, with the rest A-wing and X-wings, and a couple of Y-wings thrown in) and 36 troops. After finishing off the Imperial ships when they arrive, I'll take the Imperial systems of Delaya, Halowan and Ando; ending Imperial rule in this sector. Farfin sector: IG-88 has been captured, but Darth Maul escapes! Both were on a mission to rescue either Piett or Wile E. Coyote from Admiral Kirk's 14th fleet. Byss, Bilbringi, Phraetis are all now under blockade by Alliance Golan III Defense Platforms. Using my previous tactic with the Golan III's at Coruscant, I have again used corvettes to lead the blockade. Minor fighter defenses were destroyed prior to the arrival of the Golan III's. Admiral Kirk and Commander Taggert with the 14th fleet (3 Neb-B frigates, 3 escort carriers, 2 VSD's and 1 interdictor with 24 A-wings, 12 Y-wings), and Admiral Tallon Karde and Commander Pink-5 with my reinforcement fleet (1 MonCal cruiser, 4 assault frigates, 2 Dauntless cruisers and 1 interdictor with 29 B-wings and 6 X-wings) have arrived at Charmath to eliminate the Imperial fleet. The Imperial fleet consists of 2 Golan III's, 1 dreadnaught, 2 interdictors, 2 escort carriers with 6 Tie Fighters and 9 Tie Interceptors. I send the A-wings and X-wings after fighters, holding back the B-wings and Y-wings while the capital ships move up to engage. There are 6 Tasks Forces, all of the "heavy" ships are sent after the Imperial fleet, while the "support" ships are sent after fighters. My capital ships are slow moving and I finally release the B-wings and Y-wings before the Imperial Ties can attack them. The B-wings and Y-wings are heading for a Golan III, while the other Imperial ships try to help defend against the fighters. One lone Imperial dreadnaught heads out to meet my fleet. As the assault frigates and Dauntless cruisers pass the dreadnaught enroute to the Golan III, they each unleash a barrage on the dreadnaught. By the time my ships pass the dreadnaught, it's a floating hulk. My Neb-B frigates finish it off as they pass. The B-wings and Y-wings are hammering the Golan III. After a couple of attack runs, the shields are down. Soon the Golan III is destroyed and the next Golan III has been targeted. The other Golan III shares a similar fate. Both Golan III's have been destroyed before any of my capital ships have fired on them. All enemy fighters are now destroyed. All fighters and task forces are designated to destroy remaining Imperial ships. It's all a formality before each Imperial ship is overwhelmed with firepower and destroyed. Charmath is now under Alliance blockade. I target the ground defenses for orbital bombardment. One salvo destroys the 2 Gen Core II's, LNR II battery and 4 Imperial Army troops. But the Imperial LNR II got off one shot before it fell; taking out 1 escort carrier with 6 Y-wings. Also, in my haste to destroy the Imperial fleet, I have forgotten to bring ground troops for a planetary assault. Now I have to wait for them to arrive. The assault is non-eventful and now Borsk Fey'lya is working on diplomacy. Glythe sector: The Imperial system of Sedri has been assaulted by Alliance forces. Although the system is not of any real military value, it was one of two Imperial systems in this sector. Ben Kenobi is doing diplomacy with the local bureaucrats to bring support over to the Alliance. The Imperial system of Elrood is the next destination for the local Alliance fleet (1 corvette, 1 Dauntless cruiser and 2 bulk transports). Orus sector: The Imperial system of Poderis has been assaulted by Alliance forces. Admiral Spock with his fleet of 4 CC-9600 frigates and 1 bulk transport has finally put an end to an Imperial presence in this sector. Vanden Willard is working diplomacy. Admiral Spock is enroute with the 4 CC-9600 frigates to Filve in the Dufilvan sector where he will meet up with 4 Liberator cruisers and 2 more CC 9600 frigates. His upcoming mission is to eliminate Imperial forces on Ord Trasi and bring that system into Alliance control. Kanchen sector: An Imperial ISD has blockaded Culroon III! But after several bombardments it has failed to eliminate any of the MonCal garrison troops. An Alliance fleet of 2 assault frigates has arrived to drive the ISD off. More Alliance ships have arrived (1 interdictor, 2 Dauntless cruisers and 3 escort carriers with 26 X-wings). The new combined fleet is heading to Munto Cudro to destroy any Imperial ships based there. This sector being one of the last bastions of Imperial power in the galaxy, will have an aggressive Alliance patrol schedule to reduce Imperial power. Churba sector: An Imperial fleet of 1 lancer and 1 Star galleon are enroute to Bespin. Bespin is the only Imperial presence in this sector. There are several War Droids and Dark Troopers enroute (some have already arrived). An ISD has blockaded the Tokmia system destroying an Alliance Fleet unit on garrison duty. The Alliance Army unit is maintaining Alliance control on this uninhabited system, foiling all Imperial bombardment efforts. Han Solo is on system and has failed at several attempts to sabotage the ISD. Moddell sector: An Imperial fleet (1 ISD, 1 Carrack and 1 interdictor) has blockaded Khuiumin. The Imperial fleet has 3 Tie Fighters and 3 Imperial Army units, versus 1 Alliance Army and 1 Sullustan unit. Why they haven't bombarded my garrison troops and assaulted the system, I don't know. There's only 1 mine on the system anyway. Dufilvan, Quelli & Calaron sectors: Nothing of interest has happened in these sectors lately. I'll work on this in the near future. Dolomar and Umgul sectors: Not much happening here. All facilities are idle; I don't know what to do with them. I already have enough ships, troops, etc, etc. Jospro sector: All is quiet. All facilities are idle and Palpy & Darth are relaxing. Raw materials are 0, refined materials are around 340 with maintenance points around 3700. The Alliance headquarters is still located on the Chrondre system in the Jospro sector. 257 <-- "Updated" number of views

I'm running Windows 2000 as my OS, so I suppose this should work for XP as well. If you run a different OS, well ... I don't know what to tell you. Anyway, go to the directory where the music file is located. Up on the "Menu Bar" click on Tools; from the drop down menu click on Folder Options; from the popup window click on the tab File Types; scroll through and click on the file extension of your music file (the one that RealPlayer "hijacks"); then click the Change button; scroll through the lists of programs and find which "player" you want to have play your file, click on it and OK; then click on Close. Now whenever you double-click a music file to play, the new player will always play that file type. If scrolling through the lists of programs you can't find the program you want to play the files, click on Other, and you'll have to go through a "browse" function to locate and select the program. Hope that is what you wanted to know, and I hope that helps

OOC: The SWR chatroom is down. If a "group chat" is still wanted, it'll have to be through other means (i.e. MSN, etc.). I only have Gmail chat (currently), so if anyone has any suggestions ... otherwise, it'll have to be done the hard way (posts and/or e-mail. At least there won't be a timezone problem that way ).

You are correct. I have another update completed to add to that, then it should be wrapping up fairly soon

What "game" are you talking about? And how is that related to countering new techology?

Is the "Chatroom" not yet up and running? I tried to get on earlier, but it didn't but in the "channel" info and wouldn't connect @Def: I remember that piece of abstract "art"; I remember saying it looked like a space battle with turbolaser shots and engine contrails

Rebel Uprising II! Day 800, current status. Nothing major is going on; the Imperials are constructing things here and there, but nothing major. I believe they've reached the limits of their maintenance points; I'm going to help them abit in this regard. I've started into my next ship building phase constructing the next generation of capital ships (CC-9600 frigates and Dauntless cruisers), but without a decent Imperial fleet to engage it seems anti-climatic. Other than the capital ship building program, I've turned over garrison and production management to C-3PO. For a droid, he's pretty dumb, producing garrison troops for systems half way around the galaxy when there are ATF's in nearby or the same system. Oh well. Quelli sector: Not much is happening here. I bombarded some of the neutral systems with my two bulk cruisers, so now three more systems have joined the Empire. One of my bulk cruisers was destroyed by an LNR battery. Ooops! Both the Alliance systems of Pil Diller and Corstris require a minimum of 4 troops (they have 8 & 15, respectively). The only thing of note from the Imperial side is that the Varn system has 12 Army units enroute. Kanchen sector: Jan Dodonna has succeeded on getting Spuma to join the Alliance. I bombarded some of the neutral systems with a corvette, so now six more systems have joined the Empire. Support on Culroon III and Spuma took a hit, but that's just job security for Jan Dodonna. Hopefully the Empire will do something intelligent with its new resources. The Imperial system of Munto Cudro has several War Droid and Dark Troopers enroute. Munto Cudro and Smarteel have a plethora of Tie Fighters/Interceptors, 28 & 14, respectively. Dufilvan, Glythe & Calaron sectors: Other than recon/espionage/sabotage/uprising missions from both sides (more of mine succeed than the Empire's), nothing is really happening. The only thing of note, is from the Imperial system of Jerijador in the Calaron sector; 10 Dark Troopers are enroute. Corellian sector: Princess Leia has brought Commenor over to the Alliance! Snake Plissken and his 11 infiltrators have failed three times trying to abduct Grand Moff Conway from Corfai doing Ship R&D. Snake commented something about his "only being human" and about GMC Sith skill's being "more than he could handle". I might have to get Ben Kenobi? The Empire now has the ability to construct interdictors! Interdictor number 2 is under construction. An escort carrier is also under construction in this sector. At Corfai, a VSD and a carrack are enroute. Drall is becoming quite the Imperial fortress; it has 2 Golan III's and 3 dreadnaughts, but only 6 Tie Interceptors!? Fakir sector: Other than an ISD due into Delaya in the next two weeks, the Imperials have been mighty quiet. Delaya is getting several new Tie Interceptors, Ando has 10 Army units with 16 more enroute, and Halowan has 13 Nogrhi enroute. Looks like I'll need to strengthen up my infiltrators, and dust off the turbolasers of the 16th fleet. Farfin sector: Almost all of the Imperial systems in this sector have had their defenses upgraded to 2 Gen Core II's and an LNR II battery. Garrison sizes range from 1 to 6 units, and system fighters range from 0 to 10 Tie Fighters/Interceptors. Charmath is becoming quite the Imperial fortress; it has 2 Golan III's, 1 dreadnaught, 2 interdictors, 1 escort carrier with another under construction. Plus enroute are 1 VSD, 1 lancer, 1 escort carrier and another dreadnaught. There are also 15 Tie Fighters/Interceptors. In order to deliver my knockout blow to the Imperial fleet, I'll call in my reinforcement fleet currently in orbit at Umgul in the Sluis sector (1 MonCal cruiser, 4 assault frigates, 2 Dauntless cruisers and 1 interdictor currently under construction). The 14th fleet (3 Neb-B frigates, 3 escort carriers, 2 VSD's and 1 interdictor with 24 A-wings, 12 Y-wings) under the command of Admiral James T. Kirk and Commander Taggert is currently being upgraded with 1 corvette, 1 Dauntless cruiser and 4 escort carriers (1 carrier has arrived, another in enroute, and all other ships are still under construction). The fighters for the new carriers are going to come from the Kinyen fighter force (18 B-wings, 15 A-wings and 8 X-wings). Maybe Kinyen needs another Golan III (do the Imperials know something I don't? They have 2 at their main bases)? And one interesting little tidbit, Darth Maul and IG-88 are on their way to Kinyen to rescue either Piett or Wile E. Coyote from Admiral Kirk's 14th fleet. They're not due to arrive for another 2 months. I might have to temporarily move General John Wayne, Luke Skywalker and Ben Kenobi to the 14th fleet to see if they can help foil their rescue mission. Sesswenna sector: Not much has been happening here; the occasional Imperial recon, espionage or sabotage mission ... all failing. My spy missions to Coruscant are meeting a similar fate, though some info is coming in. Here is the latest info on Coruscant: 1 ISD, 1 dreadnaught in orbit with 1 lancer enroute. There are 42 Tie fighters (including those in orbit on the fleet), 20 Stormtroopers, 7 fleet regiments, 1 Dark Trooper and enroute are 15 War Droids. I've also started on my secret pet project. It will take some time, but when it's ready I'll see if it works. Dolomar and Umgul sectors: Not much happening here. The ASY's are busy building capital ships to upgrade the sector fleets for the impending invasion of Imperial systems. Moddell and Churba sectors: Both sectors have had all of their uncharted systems claimed by the Alliance. Garrison troops have been deployed and they are waiting for production facilities and civilians to arrive. Jospro sector: The ASY's at Kiffex are constructing their last escort carrier. The ASY's at Douglas III are almost finished with the last of 2 Dauntless cruisers. And the ASY's of Cardooine are producing X-wings. The Emperor and Darth Vader have been good, so far (in their cells). Raw materials are around 5, refined materials are 0 with maintenance points around 3400. The Alliance headquarters is still located on the Chrondre system in the Jospro sector. 1074
