  1. This is kind of a last-ditch effort piece of advice. Say that you have all the defenses on a planet, and the empire shows up, kicks the shit out of your fleet and then begins destroying your gencores. At this point it's obvious their going to take the planet, so don't give em much of a planet! When all of this starts happening start destroying the mines, refineries, and construction/ship/training yards on the planet. That way the empire has to rebuild, which takes time and energy, and they don't get anything out of the planet right away. But yeah, I'd say for defending a planet, what I do a lot of the time is build some corvettes, like 8 or 9, and have them engage the carracks, along with two or three drednoughts. Then I have the gunships and the fighters target the enemy fighters, and once they are all down you can attack the larger ships like the stardestroyers with the x-wings and y-wings (which is a pain in the ass for the SD). Its not a great strategy but it works from time to time. Be sure to use the top strategy idea though, it pisses the shit out of other players...
  2. Also lets note that the Rebellion allies itself with the ewoks... Thats worse than the seven sins of man...
  3. One thing I've done for a few months (since I didn't know about this place and thus didn't have any actual scenarios.) that can be quite fun and challenging is to put the difficulty on the hardest setting, and pick the biggest galaxy map. Once the game starts, you abandon all of your planets except those in the sesswanna (Something like that). You move all of your ships and troops to coruscant, then you have all of your agents on diplomacy missions to the sesswanna sector. After obtaining complete control of the sector (You may or may not have to invade some planets) you wait about one hundred to two hundred days, building troops, fighters, etc. on each planet. This is where the actual scenario begins really. At this point the rebellion has control over several sectors and has a fair sized fleet for the time period. Now you begin colonizing some of the outer rim planets, so that you will have more resources, and this is where the difficulty comes in. Since the rebellion uses the outer rim planets to begin with you may encounter them right off the bat. If you don't then they will discover your outer rim planets eventually. Since you need the resources, you can't very well build all kinds of construction yards, shipyards, and training facilities on these planets, thus you are left with having to send defenses from the core worlds. This can be really fun a lot of the time, and I'm sure the veteran players will appreciate being able to challenge themselves without a bunch of fancy doo-hickies (Although I would prefer the doo-hookies). 4. I was reading the earlier posts on this topic about people preferring the bad guys (empire) to the good guys (rebels). If you think about it though, the Empire is the government and the Rebellion is attempting to overthrow it. So if you think about it the rebels are really the bad guys.
  5. I recently joined the site (Thank god that theres a site devoted to Rebellion tcs) and after downloading RebED I went to install it, however an error came up saying; Error creating registry key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVerion\Uninstall\RebEd v0.26_is1. Setup was not completed. Please correct the problem and run Setup again. I haven't the slightest clue in hell what the problem is, so if anyone could tell me what it is and how to fix it I would be most grateful. -Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!
