Have'nt watched TV in years except for the news and the odd interesting documentary. I used to love Red Dwarf ( except last series which was truly awful without Rimmer )and the Blackadder series though, they were excellent, as was the League of Gentlemen and Little Britain. Oh and I nearly forgot Phoenix Nights which is superb!!!!!

You have'nt specified 'what' the actual problem is you are having. From an Imperial point of view once a New Jedi is 'discovered' ( only Darth has this capability ) then he or she can be trained by Darth Vader in the ways of the Force. I think they are rated as 'Trainee or Novice' From my experience it seems by the time this 'discovery' is made the character in question should have completed several missions (at least!! ) and raised their respective ratings for espionage/ leadership etc. If so, you should be able to send Darth and the character away on a Jedi training mission with some degree of success. Make sure the planet is extremely loyal to you, and is far far away from any combat zones. You don't want the training to be interuppted. The training seems to be reliant on the characters skill level, so once they have been successfully trained and reached the next level, send them off into the big bad galaxy to do some more missions to raise their respective ratings before again returning to receive instruction. It is a long laborious process and I don't use it that often. Much better to have Darth diploming like mad early on. I've been waiting for you Obi Wan... (snigger)

As the Empire it is generally a mistake to build mines/refineries early on unless there is a large imbalance. The easiest way to increase your production early on is to aquire those neutral planets with large resource/mine complexes by using your diplomats. Your Imperial probe droids should be going out finding them and diplomats sent straight to them and 'persuading' them to join the Empire. Check your galactic summary ( or whatever its called ) and occasionally switch it on for a few game turns to bring everything back into kilter so to speak You must also be destroying the Rebels mines/refineries with commerce raiders and squads of Imperial commando's led by a character with a high espionage rating. You will soon be roaring ahead of the Rebels production, and it will only be a matter of time before the Rebellion is brought to heel.

Gutterfly by 'The Beautiful Deadly Children'

Not really, its the lurking menace of the film, the underlying threat that will have you on the edge of your seat , although there are one or two gory moments, but its in context and not gratuitous, its just SCARY

I've just seen Exorcist II and that film is so full of menace I actually held onto my crucifix ( round my neck ) for most of the film. It is FAB, and very VERY scary. ( much better than the original ) My favourite all time horror movie is John Carpenters remake of 'The Thing' ( The game is scary too ). Mind you I love watching all the old campy Hammer Horror films as well as the old B movies like Dracula and Frankenstein. And just for sheer campness and sending up the whole genre is Mel Brooks 'Young Frankenstein', a masterpiece

Nice to see so many Imperial players There definitely seems to be a concenus of opinion about Death Star usage amongst Imperial players, because as previously discussed, the negative impact on core planet loyalty makes the use of this awesome weapon quite limited. I certainly do not blame present Germans for what happened 60 odd years ago. I am admirer of German 'Kultur', French cuisine, Italien food and wine etc etc etc. You have just missed what I'm getting at, that the EU in my very humble opinion has gone quite far enough. From an original coal/steel economic treaty ( post war ) between Germany and France it has mutated into a money consuming monster that wants to 'control' us.
