  1. Are you using the Rebellion Model Importer correctly? http://www.swrebellion.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=2
  2. Weird, I'll go check it out. Edit: should be fixed.. try now.
  3. Please no. I'm not sure I can take any more of it. I like to keep it as much on Star Wars as possible, and not demean or insult other scifi by playing 'which fiction is better'...
  4. No time to track those threads. It's too freeform, unstructured roleplaying for my liking.
  5. Just as adding new units, cards, etc... no one has found a way to add new things to the game. We can only edit parts that already are part of the game.
  6. As long as you have DirectX-compatible video drivers, it should work just fine.
  7. Long Live the Empire! An acronym he must have learned from SWS..
  8. You have time to come back and help finish RR? Haven't seen a good TC in a quite a while, but Cain seems to be working on a few.
  9. Hey Venix, what's up? Got time to do Rebellion editting anymore? Episode 3 is coming up...
  10. Simulation, it seems, is pretty random. I like playing my battles out... generally less lost ships. Death Star shield anyone?
  11. Sorry, FAQ links should be fixed. The game runs in 640x480.. not that great, but still decent. If you have questions, feel free to post them. To learn to play the game, I would recommend a comprehensive guide.. the manual + Prima's strategy guide, or maybe one of those at http://www.gamefaqs.com
  12. All I could find on this mod: http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?c=1&BID=GF&id=63321&u=0 Anyone try this game and see how this works?
  13. You cannot prove there's a market for it... because there isn't. Rebellion was a flop in terms of sales. No way would they invest the time and the money to release something that isn't going to sell.
  14. Unfortunately, Vong images are hard to come by... making an NJO mod a worthy, but hard project to accomplish. Unless someone decides to make their own images, I don't ever see such a mod coming to completion. As to your list, perhaps cards in our card database would come in handy.
  15. Interesting... though I do recommend you change the subject line We have some ... interesting.. members of our community. Welcome to SWR.com! Enjoy your stay here
  16. Frankly, yes. It is their copyright, their code, their game. Even if the developers were allowed to release the source code, they can't release anything copywrited: none of the Star Wars stuff that makes the game actually a game. Look at Homeworld: Relic released the source code to Homeworld 1 (w/o actually any of the parts that makes it Homeworld), and still no one can compile it sucessfully. With today's technology, I wouldn't want such old code to develop a game anyway. Better to build it from scratch, modularize and script it (LUA, etc), and allow better editing and moding.
  17. If you want to offer one... We are working on something, hope to get this done soon.
  18. I didn't say that anyone was coming. This is here for the discussion of any of these mods and any new ones you happen to find.
  19. Just have to do some searching... http://www.starwars.com/eu/news/2003/08/news20030826.html
  20. More changes are coming...

    Weird

This maybe a tradition explained by the following: http://www.starwars.com/eu/news/2004/05/news20040518.html Perhaps someone should check whether Del Rey is given credit at the end of the other movies as well.
  22. Ylesia was going to be inserted as part of the paperback of Destiny's Way. But unfortunately it didn't make it there. To make up for that, it was released on StarWars.com for free.
  23. Yes http://www.swrebellion.com/evillejedi/faq.php
  24. Easy, just open RebED and go to Dll Entries. Search for an image you want to click, right-click the image to either save it to your hard drive or load a new image. Zeblork's DLLEntries.txt is an expanded version which identifies more images you can change. Download that from our Download area.
