  1. Bummer, the pc-pool at my university has cd writers, sorry. The sizes: Lambda Shuttle - 284kb Mc80b - 852kb Tutorial - 336kb Sentinel Shuttle - 127kb (will not show in RebEd) SSD - 450kb (must-have ) Well, that's it for this week with the university. I'll possibly check the forums at the weekend for any questions, or loose-ends. Have fun !
  2. You once complained about not getting the demo-cd, right ? I read in a game-mag in my holidays, that Sony's the publisher for the game and they wanna see blood, ... ahh money first.
  3. Short update: I also put LithUnwrap into the models folder. You'll need it, 'cause of the tutorial. It is a free prog and is no longer supported by its creator, so I think he won't mind. I haven't been able to contact him for permission, so I dunno, if he'll really say yes. Better be quick with downloading this
  4. He means Yogi bear and Booboo. Have you never seen this as a kid ? It also was running on that 'Cartoon Network' channel, when it still wasn't scrambled a few years back. I'm currently playing with the Jedi+ Mod 3.x, which let's you have two lightsabers, a double-bladed, or two doublebladed sabers,... , oh yeah and dualphase sabers (like Gantoris in the Jedi-Academy books). Also you can scale your models, so Yoda will be knee-high instead of the same size as Vader In the newest I had, there was a jetpack code included, for the Mandolorian fans, but the 3.4 version always showed me completely black lightsabers, no matter what I tweaked in the config files, or in the console. So I switched back to 3.0 You can also make bots, that already have, for example a double-bladed saber (there are examples already included). You'll get it here: http://www.jediknightii.net/files/index.php?category=2 Oh, 3.5 out already. I'll try this one, the desc. says something about the sabers returned to normal. I hope he means the colors...
  5. There is one thing I've encountered: in RebEd the models look fine, but in the game on some angles some of them appear 'not-solid'. I don't know, how to describe it better, but do you know a way to apply some funtion to these models, that they are rendered as one block, without supposed invisible parts shown. Like you watch the model from the upside and the lower side parts do some 'z-fighting'. As I said, I'm not a pro with these progs, I rather tend to avoid them when possible as well Btw: I only have max, Lith and Milkshape and up to now no way to obtain Lightwave. Is gmax any good ? I downloaded the version from their server, but it cannot export to .3ds .Are there any export plugs to it ? (I already tried to use those of max 4.x, no luck there).
  6. Hi guys, finally the forum's back up and I can tell you all, what I've been doing during the semester-break. To make it short: I also found a way to replace the models in Rebellion. I already showed Evaders a preview and he seemed to like it To see the preview : http://members.xoom.it/d_kelley/rebellion/rebellion_3d_models.htm and for the tutorial and already some models, take a look at this: http://members.xoom.it/d_kelley/rebellion/models/ The tutorial is in .chm format, like the RebEd helpfile, so you should all be able to view it. Btw: I think the SSD is the best model I made so far. There are pictures of it in the tutorial as well. Have fun with it, and I expect a lot more models to come Ps: Who knows something about 3d modelling progs, like 3dsm ? There are some things, I want to discuss there. Wasn't Venix a crack in this ?
