  1. Loserboy, if you have trouble with some words in German, you can give me call (billy_loomis@gmx.net) Pucho, Magus made the MonCal patch in the semi-old forum, remember ?
  2. Thank you Col. Klink, Elvis and Pucho More will surely come. I just received word from one of the guys with the xwa models today. He says his models are strict conversions/upgrades from the original xwa ones and that he hasn't really the authority to allow me to use 'em in Rebellion. Confusing as that might've been, he assured me, that the upgrades weren't really that hard to make So I'll give it a try with the Dominator cruiser, Jerec's Vengeance and other stuff. The Dominator shouldn't be that hard, just adding the spheres to the ISD hull, shading the hull a bit darker, ... Maybe I'll also make an Xmas version of the ISD, red hull, black 'belt' and white command module
  3. You are really lucky, I just wanted to go home I substituted the Golan with the Imp Dreadnought and made it available for both sides. Also I beefed up the firepower and I choped the engine-speed to zero. The game doesn't mind, what model you use instead. For example, to test the Eclipse, I used the Assault Transport The lasers always come out of the center of each model. I know this is not what we'd like, but we can't change anything about it. Except, maybe putting the center of the model to the place where you'd want it to fire from, but then the model would be 'out of line' with the rest of its battlegroup Btw, after replacing models I usually continue my current game of Rebellion. Shortly before invading Coruscant, the AI surprised a little diplomacy-fleet of mine with 16 (!) Dreadnoughts, that were Golan IIIs by then with the apropriate firepower, plus an Interdictor ... I'm gonna write something in the Gaming stories section on how I got out of that one

    Who will do these?

10 MB is just the max size of my mailbox, I haven't seen a model this large so far. What about your Neutronstar ?
  5. I just added my latest finished model: the Imperial Stardestroyer. I used the model from xwa and added different colors to several parts of it to create a sort of shading effect. I originally wanted to release this sooner, but the 3 other models I tried, didn't look that good, when converted. So I dumped everything and started all over again Screens as usual on my page. The screens for the Eclipse and the Golan 3 have been added as well
  6. The music's in the MDATA folder on the cd. The movies are the first few files and the music files are the last few ones. I don't know where to draw the border from memory now, but you can play them when you simply copy them to your hdd and add '.wav' to their name. That should be the file format as well. Hope Rebellion also plays something better than the 8bit mono original tracks
  7. Ah, this comic was about Yoda stealing Dooku's wallet They cut the fighting scene out in Britain ? No way, that was the best thing in the movie
  8. Let me know, if you can convert the textures to Rebellion's format. I tried many things myself and so far I could only colorize several parts of the models, instead of applying textures to it. You can also watch the models with LithUnwrap, you know ?
  9. Everyone, please just call me Mask Pucho: Yeah, should be pretty much everything, except those CEC frigates, maybe Night can help me out with this Cards are already some on my page (link's in my profile), although I think I haven't published any for models like the Mc80b, or the Eclipse. Gank: yep, that's what I planned to do, although the sites I found weren't updated for a year and more in other cases. So I dunno, if they still care, but rest assured that I would've asked anyway.
  10. 3) 256 means 8bit, that's right 301 in the tactical.dll is the 'folder' for the models, there are no pictures there, that I know of. 303 is the folder for the textures of the ships. The fighters and the Deathstar should be there too, but so far I can't decipher this format. Hopefully Magus will help us out here.
  11. Just found a preview of a deleted scene shown on the EP2 DvD. You gotta check this out: http://www.sev.com.au/toonzone/archives/archivepage.asp?cartoonid=ss34
  12. Oh, that's what minor means ? I think it's below 21 in the US, at least officially if it comes to topics like drinkin. Talkin 'bout it, where'd I leave that bottle 'o Whyrren's Reserve now ?
  13. I once wrote you, that I read in games-magazine, that you'd had to pay to become a beta tester. Thank you, Sony...
  14. Thank you all for the praises, that really lifts me up right before the next to lectures I'll have in half an hour (3hours of Automation theory and formal languages ... ). But Pucho, I do this solely for fun and simply cause I want to share it with everyone in our community, so I would feel really odd to receive money for that. And aside from that, if we'd make this commercial, then we'd have lawyers pretty fast upon our backs and I CAN live without them As for the models, hmmm... I should have all, except the CC-7700 and the CC-9600 frigates plus some more. Last week I found some XWA opt sites and they had some really nice models as well. I'm still sorting out, but there are things like Jerec's Vengeance and stuff among them Igor: see ? You called me once Mr. Mask and now everyone does The modelnumbers are in my tutorial on the left (nav-frame) under 'shiptypes'. There you have all the numbers of the original models.
  15. Currently my cardspace update only expands the texts (names/encyclopedia) for the characters. I have already talked about expanding it to include the ships and such, with a few people. That'll be version 2.0
  16. The link doesn't work ? Could be your browser, I sent it to you via email. Generally: the files I offer in SWR's download section can also be found on my homepage. http://kickme.to/woodsboro/ Only the Rebellion part is currently translated to english and because some people have asked, there will also be the American flag besides the British flag on the start page Just find the entrance below the Scream mask and click your way through 'game select' and then you can either use the quick selection bar (looks weird in Netscape, I know) above, or click on the Rebellion picture below.
  17. Cause there I (tried to) explain, how this is done -First you also need Resource Hacker. The link in my tutorial is outdated, as Untimely found out, shortly after the release. A working link should be : http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/ -With Resource H. you open the tactical.dll from your Rebellion folder. -Now you can see the various datatypes in that file represented in the according folders, like Wave, Bitmap, ... and so on. -The models are in the 301 folder, so open this one. -According to the model you want to replace, you choose the old model's number from my tutorial. The MonCal cruiser would be 2010, for example. -There are always three slightly different models for each ship. They are used to display the ships from different view ranges (far, medium, close). -Now open the number-folder of the model you want and left-click on the 1033 shown there. Now right-click on it again and select 'replace resource' -In the new dialog use the 'open file with...' button and select your .x file from the folder, where you extracted it to. -After doing this, you'll see three more options in this dialog: Resource Type: this is always the 'folder' your resource is in. So for our models this is ALWAYS 301. Resource Name: here it's the model's number, so if you wanted to replace the MonCal, it'd be 2010 for close, 2011 for medium and 2012 for the far view. Last is Resource Language: here you enter the value of, well, the language of the dll. If you have the US-version of Rebellion, it's 1033. -Now you click on the Replace button and you replaced your first model. -To really see the model allways in tactical battles you need to replace all three view-ranges (close, medium, far). You can of course replace only one, but it'd awkward, if your model suddenly would change, when you zoom in -Last and most important: Save your tactical.dll, or all the work will be lost ! Resource Hacker does not automatically save the changes like RebEd. I hope this helps you
  18. Well, I tried to forget the crystal star, maybe Jacen did it too
  19. the total Eclipse from Kuaaaat..... sing along everybody So you wanna have the Eclipse SSD ? Well, I just added it to the Downloads-section. If you can't wait , use this link : http://members.xoom.it/d_kelley/rebellion/models/eclipse_ssd.zip And while I was at it, I put a second model in there as well: a Golan 3 battle station. Now you can have a unit really designed for defending planets, instead of using a ship that gets wiped out by a little raiding party of the AI. http://members.xoom.it/d_kelley/rebellion/models/Golan_III.zip Why it's kinda blue ? Well I used the XWA model for this and I used the original color from the screenshot I made from the models there Suggestions for the card settings are included and to be fair, you should make this available to both sides. The usual screenshots will be on in the next days, have fun !
  20. So we can use a planet around Delaya and use the asteroid field pic for it
  21. Wasn't the old 'updated helpfile' the one, where they showed how to create a new character card with Clinton's head as an example ? I think I still have this one.
  22. ....... Nov28th ...
  23. Yup, but I liked the story so far
  24. Well, I bought it, got stuck and didn't touch it for a long time. Then Evaders helped me with a mission and I resumed right where I left. But as TK said, play the demo. If you don't like this then at least you haven't spent any money that would have been used better otherwise. Although others may have a different opinon : the controls seem to me a bit like in Black and White. You have a free play mode with both sides, aka Rebel and Imperial and you start with a preset number of resource points from which you pick the troops, that will go on-planet with you. There you can get additional resource points for destroying enemy units.
  25. Does Microsith's Zone still advertise Rebellion games ?
