  1. Hmm . . . interesting Jahled, but have you read Dr. Curtis Saxton's study on the subject? Death Stars @ SW Technical Commentaries
  2. WHOA! THEY ACTUALLY MADE A HALF-LIFE 2?! WHERE CAN I GET IT?! I AM A HUGE HALF-LIFE FAN! TELL ME! I MUST GET IT!!! TELL ME!!!!
  3. Sorry, Jahled, but I am the Imerator of BEAK. Hey-hey! COOL! The funny/ironic thing about that is: I truly am a hippy/tree-hugger in real life!
  4. Csilla is covered in ice, so it makes sense. So the Canadians (at least the ones living in igloos and on ice) are...Chiss?.... COOL! (no pun intended)
  5. Sorry, Jahled, I didn't mean any sort of offense. I agree, though, that the banning served as a lesson/warning and that he should be given another chance.
  6. Well, it's good to see you out and about and joining in with us! And don't worry too much about getting in trouble, Elvis keeps us all in check. And now you have something else to do, join-in here at SWR! So Thrawn's a Canadian? 8O So where are our Germans and the Dutch?
  7. Hey, hey, hey, buddy! Chill, man, chill. It's okay; saying that is a common mistake and I hear it all the time, but remember that I am the Grand Imperator of BEAK and have no choice but to correct mistakes I notice.
  8. But this raises the question: Isn't being banned meant as the ultimate punishment, not simply a warning?.... I noticed it as well. Another dude clone? 8O
  9. Isn't that one of the boring explanation frogs from long ago?
  10. Never heard it, but I'll be sure to find a way to do so. Space Lion is quite a sad song, especially if you know the events that surround it in the episodes. I was listening to the Turn A Gundam music on her site last night and OH MY GODD!!!! IT IS AWESOME! I would consider it on the same level of quality as Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and Bach but modern! IT IS AWESOME! If you listen to only a little bit of the Turn A Gundam music, listen to "The Concert" CD music! IT'S AWESOME!!!
  11. Not quite. It seems like you, Scath, are the only one who reads this...well, other than me, that is. Oh well. Hey, those of you who read this thread (AKA: Scath), I was rethinking the name Valjean. The reason is not because of the name itself, but because it sounds too much like von Asch (one of the other Imperial field marshals in "Magical Lies"). So, what do you guy(s) think: Should I keep Valjean or name him something else (requirement for the name: French surname). I was thinking d'Erlon or Ney. An ideas?
  12. VERY well stated, Scath! BRAVO! If you don't mind, I would also like to add that the audience likes to see a good guy, but they like to see a good guy fail even more...or at least almost fail. They like to see unexpected dips that make the bad guys look more realistic than stupid bad guys that anyone can tell will lose right from the start. The poll proves this as Return of the Jedi comes in a close second because there we see good barely win over evil after the good got their butts wooped by the evil.
  13. 1:28 AM CST, Friday, June 7, 2003: -Updated the Dramatis Personæ with Field Marshal Valjean, AXIS Army Task Force Commander whom you shall meet later -I'm still looking for a Good Samaritan to host my stories -I'm still looking for a better title for "Magical Lies" -I'm still looking for opinions and feedback on the story Taking a name or two from another book(s)/movie/musical-play is, technically, not stealing...is it? Even if I have a disclaimer at the bottom that says the story is based off of history and other stories?... Les Misérables is a great book, play/musical/opera, and movie and Victor Hugo is a great author! Still don't get what I mean by the direct above? READ "MAGICAL LIES"!!!
  14. I had a feeling we'd have an Aussie come around. I added the selection for you, and, HEY! WELCOME!
  15. If you refer to letting Dude22 back: that's up to Evaders and JediIgor. If you mean refer to punishing Dude22 if he returns for doing "bad things": indeed.
  16. My thoughts as well, but I know they exist.
  17. OOC: Even though I have been promoted to grand admiral, the character Socl shall remain a fleet admiral.
  18. let me guess, you're a good tactician, right?
  19. See, this I had not known! I had always just tried clicking on them and then moving them alone! Thanks, guys! This will add a greater depth to my games....
  20. Some people, not all. Real people? Are there fake people as well? Just joking.
  21. A very good point...which further goes to show that even if they weren't more powerful, the Empire caused more fear and would have kept more people alive by keeping the Vong out than the Republic.
  22. I think we had better be on the look out for Elvis now.
  23. Not sure of the UK, but you are right to say the U.S. is an empire...an imperium.... Canadian Rebels, meaning the only Rebels in Canada? Look at the poll: currently Canada has 3 votes (25%), two less than the U.S. and one more than the UK. No worries, _Thrawn, you are an Imperial nonetheless!
  24. Sorry, guys, I had meant the SARS thing as a joke; I hope I didn't offend anyone. So, all Canadian eveolved from the Ontarions? Nevermind, my jokes suck and I think they're offending people.
  25. A grand admiral crying, that would be the day! Oh...wait...I was the grand admiral who cried.... WAIT! I was a Fleet Admiral at the time!
