Hmm.... I thought the Empire's capital is suppose to be Wayland and the rebels hold Coruscant if the mod is properly installed. This would make sense if the game follows the Zahn trilogy. Jooruus C' Boath starts the game on Wayland, the empire capital, and Han and the gang start on Coruscant.

Rebellion Refreshed and Reloaded Ultimate Package (x86/x64)
budious replied to budious's topic in Rebellion Reloaded
I wrote the installation the directions off the top of my head so if they don't work let me know and I'll fix it Yeah, I know, it couldn't be more complicated between the Reloaded installer and my do-it-yourself guide. I will automate it at some point, this was just a proof-of-concept release. The clone trooper icon I made looks like crap, I'm polishing up some new ones in Vista for a Star Wars themed icon pack. I'll replace it with whatever the Reloaded team releases if they make one. The new Storm Trooper icon looks pretty well at 48x48 but I need to tweak the smaller sizes, they look too jaggy. I also want to include Vista high dpi icons. This is by no means to infringe on the work of the Reloaded Mod team. This package is just my work around for having standard rebellion and the reloaded mod installed side by side. This can easily be adapted to other TCs available in SWR downloads. Find 10 people to bug me about a particular one and I'll make it happen. -

For everyone having problems with the executable after the resource hacker does it thing, download my "Rebellion Refreshed and Reloaded Ultimate Package". I have tweaked the executable not to give the errors you are experiencing. If you have already done the full TC setup script all you need to do is rename the installation folder from "Star Wars Rebellion" to "Star Wars Reloaded" , merge the Reloaded_x86 registry key, and drop RELOADED.EXE into your folder and delete REBEXE.EXE - should work for Supremacy players as well to do all of the following steps and delete SUPREMACY.EXE, etc.
-
Well, it's here, check the thread "Rebellion Refreshed and Reloaded Ultimate Package" I apologize to the Reloaded crew, after looking more closely at your script I realize that your cd crack is unintentional and a fluke but is totally required for your custom movies to work I guess my issue with this was my work on x64 installer being tolerated only through back channels because it distributes too much of the original game content and the blunt 'no help for new users requesting a copy of the game' attitude around here and then to allow the mod team to release a cd crack was totally hypocritical in my opinion.

I agree... the level of detail and art that have gone into the project are quite impressive. The scale kind of makes the smaller ships harder to find and click on... single pixel anyone?

Resource Hacker, Hex Editor, and PE Explorer which combines a resource hacker and hex editor into a single product and dissembles rebexe.exe better than anything else I've found so far. It at least gave me a pretty decent decoding of string names. Speaking bluntly, to modify the movie directory you had to edit the TooBigLocation which is hard coded along with the Encyclopedia Location registry location to the destination of the cd check, ie. CDROM. Basically, as Reloaded is now you are passing out a cd crack so lets not bother hiding the fact. The capability of editing the movie directory opens up the capability of changing the hard coded location of the registry key checks which means you can create a separate branch in the registry, thus opening yourself to creating a separate installation directory on the disk. If these changes are made we (or I) can make a distributable .iso for direct installation of the modded files without patching over the existing Rebellion. Thus, Rebellion and Reloaded exist side by side and are exclusive to each other.
-
Just curiousity, which tools were you using to modify the rebexe.exe? And what specifically did you change to to adjust the movie location without forcing the cd check? I assume resource hacker is the tool of choice here? I'm just exploring some other possibilities with the technical aspects such as an integrated .iso which installs everything premodded from disk.

Pool Drain Pulls Small Intestine Out Of Young Girl "The suction had caused a two inch tear in her rectum and had basically disemboweled her by pulling out her small intestines, almost all of it," said her father, Scott. Her father said a search of the pool filter turned up Abigail's intestine. He said Abigail was seriously wounded because the cover of the drain had been removed.

Just pm or post your email address in either thread and I will mail you my x64 installer. There has been mixed results with operation under Vista x64, but it works perfect in XP x64. You can try it for yourself.

I don't mind moderating the testing but I think it be better to have a sub-forum for bug/tweaking discussions and this forum for general discussion of reloaded. I did report a minor problem in the thread posted above this one and not sure if it is reproducible error but occurs with the setup.exe when installing on a machine with VMware Server installed. Second glitch I found so far is when playing in windowed mode "-w" argument, I haven't tried fullscreen yet, when I get to tactical combat mode and click the take command button. I get the following error: "The pixel format was invalid as specified." I can click "OK" on the message as it appears twice and the tactical mode completes loading and is playable.
-
I resolved this error: I could not get setup.exe to successfully run until I manually shutdown the background process services installed by VMware Server. If you have VMware Server installed and get this error, open the Services control panel and manually stop all of the VMware related services.

Paypal accepted. With order free spam included... yummy meaty flavor to complement chocolaty mustard flavor burst in your mouth. Here what others have product said about: Admiral Ackbar - Your tongue can't repel flavor of this magnitude! Darth Sidious - Brings new flavor to feet wrapped in burnt leathery bacon. Yoda - Swamp soup and E.Coli have never felt so well together. Hannibal Lector - Goes well with liver, fervor beans, and a nice cayante.

I don't know about "sucks" but it has a share of pros and cons. It's different and SP1 should bring the kernel up to Windows 2008 Server version. NT 6.0 to NT 6.1, a deviation in traditional service packing from the previous NT releases that kept the kernel at the shipped version. Pros - UAC notifies the user before executing dangerous code. If the user pays no attention and clicks "ok" to everything it really doesn't matter. Cons - Native support of the d3drm.dll dropped for no apparent reason as installing the old .dll works.
-
Yeah, the D3D fix for graphical errors. But as you mentioned, you need to manually apply the registry files. This is most likely because of Vista's new user account control system which is going to prohibit an arbitrary program from modifying system files or registry settings. Unless the installer is programmed to install shield specifications it may not function properly on Vista.

Zuggriffsverletzung bei Addresse 0044EE1D in Modul 'setup.exe'. Leson von Adresse 00b78614 I'm guessing that is the standard "An error has occured at address xxx in setup.exe" message. I've tried it every which way and it doesn't work under Windows 2000 Professional SP4
